The tremors from the Wanling Hall caught the attention of many people.
The Patriarch and Lord Lao Zi of the Great Monad flew over and saw Sun Wukong sending out runes from his hands that flew onto the giant tree.
"Wukong, what's happening?"
The Patriarch asked.
"The Heavenly Dao inside the Jade Seal is retaliating,"
Sun Wukong protected the tree with runes to prevent it from collapsing.
But the power of the runes was not enough, so he pulled out a strand of hair, blew on it, and transformed it into a Giant Dragon that spiraled around the trunk.
"This way, it won't collapse for now."
Sun Wukong was somewhat solemn.
He had thought the Heavenly Dao inside the Jade Seal would just resist the Wanling Immortal Path, but he hadn't expected that the Jade Seal would want to destroy it.
Master Puti furrowed his brows, "Why is the Heavenly Dao only retaliating now?"
"Because the Wanling Immortal Path is about to take shape,"
Lord Lao Zi of the Great Monad answered.
