Chapter 105 - ch-65 smile

Somehow, the Haldi ceremony ended. Everyone present was enjoying the wedding, or perhaps pretending to. When the ceremony was over, Ritwik went to his room that night and tears started flowing from his eyes. He had controlled himself in front of everyone, offering support to everyone, but now, when he was alone in the room, his memories of Aaradhya, her words, kept reminding him of her. He couldn't control himself and started crying loudly.

Adi, Akhil, Jeet, and Pankaj were standing outside his room, but none of them thought it right to go inside. They all knew that Ritwik loved Aaradhya very much. Aaradhya's sudden departure was nothing less than a shock for him.

So everyone stood outside until Ritwik fell silent. When Ritwik didn't make a sound for a long time, they quietly went into the room and found Ritwik asleep on the floor.

He had a photo of Aaradhya in his hand, holding it tightly as if he didn't want to let it go. No one woke Ritwik or tried to take the photo from him.

They simply covered him tightly with a blanket and came out. They all understood Ritwik's plight well, but what could they do? How could they ease their friend's grief?

After coming out, they went to their rooms. Everyone went to their rooms and lay down, no one spoke to each other, nor did anyone encourage anyone.

Everyone lay down, but no one could sleep. Somehow, the night passed.

The next day

Everyone was busy preparing for the wedding. None of the boys mentioned the previous night's events to any of the girls, nor did they mention anything in front of Ritwik. Everyone was now behaving normally.

All the necessary preparations for the wedding were completed. Ritwik was still behaving well in front of Abhi and actively participating in every ritual.

But everyone could clearly see the sadness hidden in his eyes, but no one dared to say anything. All the preparations were complete on the girl's side as well. Riya was seated on a comfortable chair in the venue's hall.

Everyone else was also busy overseeing the preparations. Suddenly, someone called out, "The wedding procession has arrived!" Hearing this, all the girls rushed to welcome the procession.

Abhi had blocked the gate, but there wasn't the hustle and bustle that a wedding should have. Still, Abhi was trying his best to ensure that nothing was missing.

When the wedding procession arrived at the gate, the ribbon-cutting ceremony took place. There was some noise, but not as much as at a normal wedding. After this, the procession was called in. All the guests ate, and the groom slowly started moving towards the stage.

The groom had already sat on the stage. Meanwhile, the bride was called. Although the bride came, the glow on her face was missing. The bride also came and sat on the stage. Adi and the other boys together took the responsibility of bringing the bride to the stage.

Ritwik was overjoyed to see all this unfold, but he harbored a pang of regret. He too wanted a grand wedding like this. He wanted to spend his entire life with Aaradhya, a wedding with all the rituals and blessings of all the elders. But alas, that was no longer possible because the woman he had dreamed of marrying was no longer alive.

Ritwik composed himself and went to the stage. Once there, he gave gifts to Ishaan and Isha, and then climbed down the stairs and disappeared into the crowd.

Adi and others had seen him, but they all decided it was best to give Ritwik some time alone. After all the wedding rituals were completed, all the relatives and friends were dancing together.

Ritwik had also come inside. He didn't want to ruin Ishaan and Isha's moment. Abhi and Ritwik had fun together, and Ritwik was also among them.

But his smile didn't reach his eyes. No one forced Ritwik. Everyone was simply supporting him for appearing so happy.

Now it was Ishaan and Isha's turn to dance. A very romantic song was played. Listening to it, the other couples—Jeet, Suhana, Akhil, Ana, Pankaj, Swati, Aman, Reet, Adi, and Riya—came together and started dancing.

If anyone was alone, it was Ritwik. Seeing them dancing together like this, his eyes filled with tears. He didn't want to disturb anyone, so he quietly made his way out.

Ritwik was halfway off the stage when the lights suddenly went out. There was no question of the lights going out. Before anyone could understand, a spotlight landed on the DJ.

Everyone's attention was focused on them, except Ritwik's. Just then, a song started playing on the DJ...

lag ja gale ki phir ye haseen raat ho na ho

shaayad phir is janam mein mulaaqaat ho na ho

lag ja gale ki phir ye haseen raat ho na ho

shaayad phir is janam mein mulaaqaat ho na holag ja gale...

hamako milee hain aaj ye ghadiyaan naseeb se

hamako milee hain aaj ye ghadiyaan naseeb se

jee-bhar ke dekh leejie hamako qareeb se

phir aapake naseeb mein ye baat ho na ho

shaayad phir is janam mein mulaaqaat ho na ho

lag ja gale....

Now everyone was looking at the DJ. It was a happy moment, but no one could understand the meaning of this song playing.

and this is not the right time to play this song .in marriage hall this song sound like bit awkward.so it's only right that everyone was staring at dj .

either dj made a mistake or he knowingly play that song.

Everyone was about to say something to the DJ when a spotlight fell on Ritwik. Everyone's attention was now on Ritwik.

Just then a voice came from the darkness.

"You didn't answer my question, Ritwik." The voice was familiar. Hearing this voice, Ritwik suddenly turned towards the stage.

His eyes were now wide.there is a shadow on stage.that shadow was in dark so nobody can tell who was that.
