"Well, inorder to dispel your fears over a so called horror movie and to get over my heart break, let's go grab some popcorn and icecream and chill at an amusement park" Brenda told Kasela.
"But this is past 4'oclock and we're supposed to return before the 9'oclock curfew" Kasela replied with a frown.
"Don't worry you're gonna love this and we'll go back before 6 after all we still have much time left" Brenda tried to convince her.
After some deliberations, Kasela finally agreed, for a very long time time she hasn't been to an amusement park and she was already forgetting what it looks like.
They first strolled to get a pack of popcorn and two cups of ice cream with Brenda paying. Kasela who had some money with her had offered to pay but Brenda disagreed saying that the cost of their outing was on her. They took a cab to the nearest amusement park.
It was a large place that contained so many fun places, Brenda suggested trying the ferris wheel and Kasela agreed. They paid the money and got in.
"You know people like proposing here, inside the ferris wheel"Brenda said
"Why?"
"Don't know, they feel it's more romantic, you can really see fire works if any from up here".
Next they went to the swing which Kasela liked very much and they took turns pushing each other, people were very much charmed by the two girls especially Kasela who laughed and giggled freely making her happy mood contagious.
After playing for a long time, they became tired and they both sat down in the trimmed grass licking s freshly bought ice cream
"Let's go to the horror house" Brenda teased Kasela who shuddered and glared at her.
"Alright, let's your round the whole place, there's still more nice things to try" Brenda dragged a tired Kasela long with her.
By the time they were done it was already past 8 and they both, physically and mentally drained hurried back to the school in time.
They had just walked past the gate when they heard someone whistling and Maximus emerged from the dark with his friends.
"What a pleasant surprise my pretty little rose" he said as he approached the two girls with his minions.
Kasela became scared and apprehensive but Brenda held her hand and shook her head indicating that she shouldn't be scared
"Uhmmm, Maximus, as you can see we were on our way to our room, can you kindly please excuse us?" Brenda asked and Maximus turned a lazy gaze towards her.
"Sure you can leave, I just wanted to have a word with my pretty little girlfriend"
"I'm not your girlfriend" Kasela retorted and Maximus chuckled
"Aha, calm down dear, the whole school proclaimed us as thus, why don't we make their wish a reality and trust me I'm more than willing to do that"
"You can find someone else for that, I'm not interested and I already made that clear, moreover aren't you the one who made that nasty rumor?" Kasela shot back.
"Hmmm.... My little rose is bravely talking back at me and she even accused me but never mind, I like fiesty girls" Maximus said with a smirk.
"If that's all, we will be leaving" Kasela said and moved to pass by.
Maximus stepped aside with a crooked smile, just then the gate opened and a black car with blinding lights drove in, the door opened and Regalus stepped out with Bianca who had one of her arms wrapped around his waist.
He glanced at Kasela and passed by with Bianca to his apartment. His four friends also came out and Maxwell nudged Kelvin as he pointed his chin at Kasela. They were about to approach her when Mark pinched their sides and shook his head at them. They all passed and went to their apartment while Brenda and Kasela also left leaving Maximus and his minions staring at them as they left.
"I didn't think Maximus would easily let us off" Brenda told Kasela on their way back to their room
"Yeah, me too and I didn't think we would encounter him too" Kasela said
"It's all my fault, if we had come back earlier, we wouldn't have encountered that bastard" Brenda apologized but Kasela shook her head
"No it's okay and to be honest, I don't really feel scared of him as before" she said and Brenda nodded
"Yeah me too, I didn't really feel much scared of him as before, moreover I don't think he's as bad as people potray him to be" Brenda added but Kasela intercepted
"No, the rumors are true and I also noticed how a lot of students were scared of him" she said and paused as she remembered something. One of Regalus' friends had winked at her though she couldn't remember their names but she could identify him due to his pink hair.
"I'll get some sleep now" Brenda informed her after checking her phone and made to enter her room but stopped and sighed when she saw the young girl in thoughts.
She waved her hands in front of her and she jerked out of her thoughts and flashed her a small smile.
"Don't think too much, I'll be leaving now to get refreshed and you should do same" Brenda said and left.
Kasela nodded her head as she locked the door and began removing her clothes perhaps she was over thinking things, she reasoned and decided to push other thoughts away and focus on the main reason why she was in school.
She went into the bathroom, took a cool bath and wore her pyjamas, she dried her long hair and tied it into a bun. She picked up her phone from the table and saw it was already past 9pm, she wasn't feeling sleepy yet and thankfully Brenda had transferred some movies to her phone and they had also exchanged numbers. She decided to watch some movies while waiting for sleep to befall her.
