Tears slowly drifted off her eyes, as she watched her grandmother, Lilith. Her face had turned into something she couldn't recognize, Her skin began to sag, losing its glow, turning ashen and cracked like burned parchment. Her hair grayed in patches, stringy and limp, no longer flowing like silk but hanging like dead vines. Her lips—once full and red—curled inward, shriveling as her bones twisted beneath the skin. Her eyes, those hauntingly graceful eyes, turned hollow—no warmth, no light, just shadows of madness.
She wasn't a queen anymore.
She was the monster she'd hidden for centuries.
"Go tell that Alpha that we've finally destroyed the Luminarch Order!" one of the soldiers shouted, his voice echoing with triumph.
"I doubt we have," another replied, his tone more cautious. "Did you see how many came through the portal? That wasn't all of them. And now we can't even find the rest. Feels like we only wiped out a quarter of their forces."
