" That won't be necessary ma'am, I'm fine, the tea is enough." I meekly said.
"Do not sweat it dear, I've got this covered. Besides using ma'am to address me, isn't it too old? Call me Elizabeth." It was my turn to be surprised.

Nikolai was as shocked as I was . I nudged my shoulders and mouthed. 'I'm as shocked as you are.
"Ma'am, I'll get it with Nikolai later on. Just jot right away." I promised.
"First name basis dear, okay." She asked
"Okay." I answered, knowing it's a no job for me.
"Mom, Cassandra and I need to go to bed. I'll bring her back for your chat tomorrow." Nikolai suggested
"Fine, but be careful around her. She's delicate." His mom warned. Nikolai nodded anyway, then we were soon set on our way to Nikolai's room.
We strolled in, then he latched the door lock behind us, for no reason I felt trapped.
