Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7; THE AXIS OF THE DEAD p1

The destruction of the Glitch Core didn't just clear the room it tore open the veil of the abandoned sub-space.

Out from the ruptured spatial tear slithered something ancient, colossal, and horrifying.

The Hive Mother.

She was the third strongest entity Null had ever crossed paths with in his entire life. Towers of jagged, dark chitin scraped against the ceiling of reality itself, clicking and grinding like thousands of rusting blades. Her aura didn't just press down; it turned the air into thick, suffocating sludge.

Null gritted his teeth, his Void aura flaring violently. Even at 71% of Umbros' fragment power, the sheer pressure of her presence made his blood run cold.

He didn't hesitate. Null launched forward, unleashing a barrage of high-speed, Void-infused strikes. Spatial shockwaves cracked through the air like thunder. But every punch, every kick, every lethal technique he threw barely registered against her primal armor.

The Mother didn't even flinch.

With a speed that defied her immense size, a giant, chitinous limb slashed through the air. The strike breached Null's defense instantly. Flesh tore. Bones shattered. Space collapsed inward on his chest.

Null's vision instantly turned into black-and-white static. The world fell completely silent as his physical frame was crushed into the ground, his heart stopping instantly.

Null opened his eyes, but there was no light. No color. No sky.

He was drifting in a depthless, high-contrast grey plane. Standing a few paces away from him was a towering figure wrapped in a high-contrast black coat and flowing aristocratic robes.

It was Umbros. But there was no wild smile. No glowing crimson eyes. Where his face should have been, there was only a depthless, pitch-black abyss.

Umbros stood in utter silence before his voice resonated across the infinite grey space, sounding like an unwritten law of reality itself.

> "Well... the total of you dying has reached 1,001 now. I still remember when we trained and you died for the 1,000th time."

Null stared at the faceless entity. He knew the gap between them, knew the horror waiting for him back in the realm of the living. To stand against the Hive Mother, he needed to pull power from the absolute depths of existence.

A contract was made.

In the silent void, Null surrendered something fundamental a transaction sealed in the shadow of the higher dimensions. What he traded, no mortal mind, no record, and no reader would know.

Back on the destroyed battlefield, the Hive Mother turned her massive body away, leaving the broken, lifeless corpse of Null buried in the rubble.

CRACK.

A bone snapped. Then another.

Null's shattered limbs twitched unnaturally. His spine jerked back into alignment with sickening crunching sounds as his body forced itself off the ground like a reanimated corpse.

*"Don't... leave..."*

His voice was completely wrecked a raspy, distorted growl bleeding out from destroyed vocal cords.

The Dark Cross that had forever sat within his eyes suddenly faded away. It didn't vanish; it materialized above his head, weaving itself into a jagged, pitch-black Dark Crown.

It was the ultimate symbol a crown granted only to those who mastered the absolute apex of martial arts, endowing themselves in the blood of both their enemies and the sacrifices of man.

The true unwritten king had awakened.

(Once again )

Null's appearance shifted into pure, unadulterated darkness. His hair turned jet-black, his cloak wrapped around him like an abyss, and his eyes completely inverted into pitch-black sockets with glowing white centers.

Form 5: The Axis of the Dead.

Forged from the condensed dark matter of the universe itself, the power radiating off Null bent light, gravity, and reality around him.

---

Millions of light-years away, in another universe entirely...

A young girl stood on a quiet balcony during a dark, lonely night, looking through a worn storybook. Suddenly, she paused and looked up at the night sky.

Above her world, entire constellations were blinking out. Stars were being swept out of existence one by one, erased in flashes of silent cosmic destruction.

"What is happening up there, Dad?" she asked, her voice trembling as she pointed toward the dying sky.

Her father stood beside her, staring up at the shattering night with wide, terrified eyes.

"Gods are fighting," he whispered.

---

Back in the ruptured domain, Null and the Hive Mother collided.

The impact tore the surrounding space into microscopic shreds. Null didn't move like a man anymore he moved like a galaxy-destroying catastrophe. Every punch was a flurry of dark matter; every kick split the fabric of dimensions.

The Mother roared, her massive claws clashing against Null's relentless, blood-drenched offensive. They traded devastating, world-ending blows back and forth, tearing through the sub-space, fighting with pure, animalistic frenzy neither willing to yield until one of them was completely erased.
