The act of creation was never meant to be silent.
When Null commandingly rewrote reality, weaving billions of galaxies out of dark matter alongside Aera's space-time cloth, the resulting energy pulse didn't just illuminate the local void. It sent an absolute, high-dimensional shockwave tearing through the fabric of the omniverse.
Across distant planes, ancient domains, and higher-dimensional realms, cosmic warlords, spatial parasites, and realm-watchers opened their eyes. The sudden, violent birth of a brand-new, unassigned universe crafted by the hands of an unknown Artisan of Reality—echoed like a siren in the dark.
An unwritten universe was the ultimate prize: pure, untouched energy waiting to be harvested.
Inside Aera's cozy pocket dimension, however, the universe-shaking fallout felt worlds away.
Null sat on the edge of the plush bed, his shirt off as Aera delicately wrapped translucent, glowing bandages around his forearms. His skin was still raw, charred black and purple from the recoil of forcing Reality Manipulation through his Prime Stone. Every gentle touch from Aera's cool fingertips sent a sharp sting through his nerves though half of the heat on Null's face had absolutely nothing to do with his injuries.
"You really don't know the meaning of the word 'moderation,' do you?" Aera murmured softly, her pink eyes focused intently as she tied off the space-time bandage on his right wrist.
"I had to restore them," Null mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck with his uninjured left hand, avoiding her gaze. "The Void Master said I could, and... well, leaving an empty void just felt wrong."
Aera paused, her soft hands lingering on his wrists. A gentle, quiet smile spread across her face.
"I know," she whispered, her voice dropping into a tender, intimate register. She leaned in, resting her forehead lightly against his shoulder. "That's what makes you so infuriatingly amazing. For eons... before that terrible Glitch Core corrupted me... I drifted through the endless space-time streams alone. I watched worlds burn, stars die, and gods fight for territory. I thought existence was just a cold, meaningless cycle."
Null froze, his heart thumping wildly against his ribs as her warm breath brushed his skin.
"But sitting here with you," Aera continued, looking up into his pitch-black, restored eyes with an unwavering, affectionate light, "watching you bleed just to give innocent souls their sky back... for the first time in eons, Null, I don't feel lonely. Being with you feels like home."
Null's brain completely short-circuited. The guy who had faced down Satan, tanked hyperversal attacks, and shattered time itself was currently rendered completely speechless by a girl looking at him with soft eyes.
"I-I'm glad..." Null stammered, his face burning like a miniature sun. "I mean... I'm not going anywhere either, Aera."
Aera let out a light, melodious laugh, leaning up to lightly press her cheek against his before standing up. "Good. Because if you try to run off, I'll just freeze you in a space-time bubble."
Before Null could reply, a sudden, violent shudder rocked the pocket dimension.
CRACK.
Outside the pocket realm, in the serene, newly forged universe, the sky above a central galaxy fractured. A jagged, crimson spatial rift tore open the fabric of space, bleeding corrupted dimensional energy into Null's freshly painted cosmos.
Three colossal, shadowy figures stepped out from the rift. They were Spatial Inquisitors ancient, high-tier parasites that hunted unanchored universes to drain their core realities.
"Fascinating..." the lead Inquisitor hissed, his voice sounding like grinding metal. "A freshly birthed universe, rich with dark matter and unrefined Reality Manipulation. The fool who built this domain expended all their energy in its creation. Locate the core and harvest it!"
"I wouldn't touch a single star if I were you," a calm, icy voice echoed through the cosmos.
Space folded in on itself, and Null stepped out into the void alongside Aera.
He didn't activate Form 5. He didn't summon the jagged Dark Crown. Null simply stood there in his black cloak, his arms crossed, staring at the intruders with cool, absolute authority.
The lead Inquisitor sneered, sensing Null's lingering physical exhaustion. "A mere mortal vessel? You dare stand before us, child? You may have built this realm, but you are spent! You lack the power to enforce your domain!"
Null tilted his head, a faint, dangerous smirk touching his lips.
"You don't get it," Null said softly. "In the outside world, I had to fight you with martial arts and raw force. But here?"
Null snapped his fingers.
The Prime Stone in his chest flared with a blinding, golden-black aura. The entire universe every planet, every law of physics, every atom he had hand-crafted instantly responded to his command.
The gravity around the three Inquisitors multiplied by infinity. The spatial fabric beneath their feet solidified into absolute, unbreakable dark matter chains. The spatial rifts they had opened were forcefully erased from existence with a mere wave of Null's hand.
The lead Inquisitor gasped in utter horror as his high-tier dimensional authority was completely bypassed and overridden. "What... what is this?! Reality Manipulation... on an absolute scale?!"
"This is my house," Null said, his voice echoing across the cosmos like a divine decree. "And I don't remember inviting pest control."
With a flick of his wrist, Null didn't even punch them he simply rewrote their coordinates, bending reality to instantly eject the three Inquisitors back through the dimensional boundary, sealing the breach so tightly that not even a photon could bleed through.
As the spatial rift snapped shut, the lingering echo of the lead Inquisitor's terrified voice drifted back:
"The higher realms will hear of this, Artisan! The Lords of the 8th Dimension will come for your stone!"
Null lowered his hand, letting out a soft sigh as Aera stepped up beside him, lacing her fingers naturally through his.
"Lords of the 8th Dimension, huh?" Null muttered, looking out at his pristine, peaceful universe. "They can bring whoever they want."
Aera squeezed his hand gently, her pink eyes gleaming with pride. "And we'll be waiting for them."
