Rayleigh turned to face where the voice was coming from. What Rayleigh saw scared him and confused him. There was an enormous throne that was covered in what looked like veins that were pumping some sort of red liquid. Rayleigh knew it wasn't blood because it had extremely dark blue particles as well, there was also something that was sitting in the center of the throne. Whatever it was it seemed to be fused to the back of the throne. As Rayleigh continued looking the more of a bad feeling it gave him, he could see a face that was half melted and it seemed to be looking at the ceiling, but its eyes were looking at Rayleigh and the others.
"Uldess! What is that thing?"
Uldess was standing still looking at the thing on the throne.
"How? How are you already back? It should have taken at least a few more months."
The face let out a laugh that sounded like a scream.
"You should have rested more. Since Goren didn't take enough time to rest, by the time he got to me he barely had enough energy to seal me. It only took around 30 sacrifices for my conscience to escape. The only problem is that there wasn't a homunculus strong enough to handle me so we had to make one from scratch as you can see."
Rayleigh looked at Alex who was backing away slowly.
"Even so, the fact that it is progressing so fast doesn't make sense."
"Oh it does. Remember, I have both their mothers."
Alex stopped and looked straight at the throne.
"You are using their mothers to speed up the creation?"
"Why are you surprised? I mean the lightning spirit Galva and the wife of void god, how could I not use them?"
"Where is my mother you sack!"
Alex threw a spear at Migdranniun. The spear exploded before it even reached the throne. Rayleigh heard a sword being sheathed.
"Alow me to introduce one of my generals, Unless you remember Alzado, and Rayleigh and Alex, let me introduce her."
"My lord, let me save your strength."
"Very well."
"Alright, I am Alzado, general of the vain faction, and your opponent."
Rayleigh tried to create a weapon but his body was not listening.
"What are the chances of us beating her?"
"Not high Alex, the best chance of us surviving is escaping."
"I like that plan."
Both Alex and Uldess turned towards the door and started to run but Rayleigh just stood there.
"Where is my mom?"
"Ray, what the hell are you doing?"
Rayleigh didn't hear Alex, he was too worried about his mom.
"They are alive for now. I have fallen bored of you. Alzado finished him!"
Alzado unshithed her sword and lunged at Rayleigh. Rayleigh who was still standing still realized what was about to happen, couldn't react fast enough. Right before Alzado attacked him, Alex, who had run back to help, swept Rayleigh's legs. Rayleigh suddenly felt a pain come over his face and he couldn't see.
"Well, shit. That was stupid of you, wasn't it? And here I thought I wouldn't have to deal with you for a bit longer.
Rayleigh opened his eyes and standing in front of him was Seb.
