As Rayleigh stood outside the studio, he still wasn't sure if he was ready for what he was about to do, but he was sure that he had to do this, no matter how scared he was.
"What a fake-looking building."
"What are you talking about, Alex?"
"Can't you tell? The paint looks like it shouldn't be here. Look at the other buildings, they have normal paint, while this one is a bright neon blue and pink. I feel like I need sunglasses just to barely stare at it."
"Maybe they painted it like this because they wanted people to stare."[1]
"Maybe, it still makes me uncomfortable."
"Enough, you two, we are about to walk straight into the enemy's headquarters."
Uldess stepped forward and bent down on one knee, and started to pick the lock.
"Why dont you just use magic to unlock the door?"
"Because it might alert the enemy that we are here. Rayleigh, you should call both neon blue.
Vlad and Agent, and send them back to absole, so that Showren can do a maintenance check on them both."
Rayleigh called both of them and told them to return to absole.
"Ok, I am so glad Dick [2]taught me some of his skills before he was executed."
Uldess pushed open the doors, and then the alarm started.
"How could I have forgotten. Right now, no time for strategy. Head to the back of the store, Vlad told me that it is in the employees' break room."
Rayleigh and Alex ran past Uldessto the back of the studio.
"There's the door!"
Rayleigh reached out and tried to open it.
"I think it's locked, it won't move!"
Alex pushed Rayleigh out of the way and kicked the door down.
"Listen, Ray, we have no time for formalities. If there is something in our way, we can try to deal with it patiently; we have to rush right through it. You understand?"
Rayleigh nodded and followed Alex into the room.
"What exactly are we looking for?"
"Rayleigh, get down. I am going to try something."
As Rayleigh got on the floor, Alex doubled over, and part of the door started to float.
"Right. NOW, STATIC FIELD!"
Alex stood straight up, and lightning shot out of his body and attached to random objects in to room, which started to glow and float.
"Ray, get close!"
Rayleigh, who wasn't sure what was happening, decided to listen to Alex.
"NOW, STATIC SAW!"
All the objects started to rotate, and the lightning began to poke out and become spikes. Alex then grabbed the lightning that was coming out of his body and started to swing it around. The objects began to rotate even faster and then started to shred everything that wasn't connected by Alex's lightning. Once Alex stopped, Rayleigh looked around and saw that the only thing that was still intact was a mirror that was the length of the entire back wall.
"That is the entrance."
Rayleigh got up and approached the mirror, and touched it.
"Are you sure, Alex?"
At that moment, Uldess walked in.
"Yes, it is, well done, Alex."
"Where were you?"
"I was making sure we had enough time to try to find the entrance, but I guess I just wasted our time."
"How are we going to use it?"
"Simple, we just coat ourselves in our energy and walk through, that is why it didn't shatter when Alex used static saw, the objects just passed through."
Rayleigh was nervous about walking into the mirror, but steadied him self and coated him self in his energy and walked through with Alex and Uldess. Rayleigh wasn't sure what he was expecting to happen, but it didn't happen. One moment, he was in a room with shredded magazines and paper cups, and then he was in a massive hall. As he looked around, the more he was amazed, the hall had these massive clooms that looked like massive greatswords, and the ceiling looked like an open rib cage, and the swords were stabbing it, there were also what looked like golden particles floating around. Though the hall looked incredible, it also looked eerie, like it was alive and in pain.
"Uldess, where exactly are we?"
Uldess was standing still with a look of pure terror on his face.
"They knew that we were coming, they moved the mirror the the throne room. That would mean he is here."
Before Rayleigh could ask who was here, there was a voice that filled Rayleigh with fear, hatred, and self-doubt.
"Welcome to my throne room, the last place you will feel anything but pain."
