The Aquar Suit's face looked unchanged as Eve walked toward her. For someone who was lost she stayed awfully calm. Though her mother was a famous public figure, so this has most likely happened to her most times than often. Is what they would think.
"We're just glad you're safe. Miss Evellyn." The Monster said in a gentle voice. Still holding the dagger tight. "And I'm so glad I was found. I don't even know which dimension I got dropped in now. I was just praying I'd get found before something serious happened." Eve replied with a slightly worried tone.
"Miss Evellyn. We want you to please carefully come forward to us. The statue of the Holy Knight may still be functional and may be a greater threat if we try coming to you." The Aquar had a mix between an Irish British voice, but still managed to keep a sweet demeanour with her.
She put out her hands and summoned a watery clone of herself, offering a hand to help Eve walk over.
"Can I really trust you? I mean...how'd you even find me? I may not look like it but I..." Eve started to fake a panic.
'If she thinks I'm insecure now....then I should have no trouble right?"
"Miss Evellyn! I just need you to trust us. Despite your experiences you've survived many of these. Your mother is also worried sick. You wouldn't want her to be hurt now would you?" The Monster spoke.
Eve closed her eyes for a bit and took the hand of the water clone, both slowly walking over to the other side, closer to the suits.
"Just a bit more, Miss Evellyn!" The Aquar yelled words of encouragement halfway through. Just as they were about to meet up with the Suits; another giant arrow was shot, but Eve jumped over in quick succession. Pushing the clone in the way of the arrow, it's form immediately disintegrating on impact.
With no hesitation about ten more clones appeared. Ready to pin Eve down, but she shot them all down in less than a few seconds.
"Of course it was that filthy child." The Aquar stated in pure disgust. "Under Section 31, Code A5. Evellyn Reese. You are to be executed with immediate effect when seen, due to your criminal status under the name: Thorns."
"Do I look like I give a shit about the la-" just before she could finish her statement, a chain made of water suddenly cuffed her hands, making the space around her heavier. Before she could move again, a large wave came crashing down, trapping her in a small bubble
"Are you sure she won't get out?" The Monster asked. "I already held her in place, I doubt she'd breath...but that dagger of yours should do something if she tries anything crazy."
The two looked at the bubble which was now empty. With worry overtaking them they quickly scanned the room for Eve, only to see her dropping down on the monster, barely a hair's breath away from stabbing him in the eye, but she was violently grabbed and thrown into the hallway before landing with a heavy thud.
"That throw's gonna discombobulate my back for the next two weeks. Now...who the hell sent you two? Cause Suits never answer calls this fast."
The Aquar wasted no time in creating clones to kill Eve. In response Eve got up and started running around the temple, dodging heavy waves and quick slashes from the clones.
"Seriously guys who's paying you?" She asked sarcastically, whipping out her gun and shooting down a few clones, trying to get a few shots on the Aquar, but her shield was too strong.
"You might as well die a peaceful death and surrender Thorns." The Monster called out, creating a summoning circle that followed Eve from behind, exploding after a few seconds.
"Is it that one politician I embarrassed online?" She grabbed a clone and threw it into the others, unfortunately creating a bigger fusion. "Fuck me. Why'd I think that'd work?"
More summoning circles were formed, now with aether runes woven into them. Eve barely dodged all of them, eventually slowed down into close combat with the large clone. "Was it your Captain? I've never had a decent conversation with the old man."
"Don't you dare sully his name with your filthy mouth!" The Aquar yelled in anger as she launched a barrage of attacks, Eve dodging them in a purposefully messy fashion.
"Oh I know! It's Phillip Reese ain't it?" Eve called out teasing, but it was enough to give them a window of vulnerability. "Nailed it!" She appeared behind the Monster in an instant, putting the gun to his head and blowing his brains out.
"You have no idea how much I hate that man." Eve finished coldly, landing on the wall and hanging by the wall.
The Aquar paused for a brief moment, before bringing out a strange insignia with a sharp end. The base had the outlines of an uneven clover, with a golden touch, the inner lining adorned with silver runes, and a mysterious ruby shard etched into the heart.
"You're definitely gonna die if you use that. Trust me I've tried." Eve tried discouraging her from using it, but her words simply fell to the air.
The Aquar quietly picked up the knife, and gave the insignia an unfeeling look. "May your soul rest in peace Kashnãr. I will destroy that filthy soul if it's the last thing I do."
In a simple swing, she stabbed herself in the heart, the insignia melting on impact, falling to her knees slowly, before landing with a soft thud on the old marble floor.
Eve stared at her body for a bit, jumping down from her position and standing over her corpse. "Damn." She let out softly. "So that's what I look like asleep."
She gave light kicks to the side before shrugging and walking to the center of the temple, being careful as to not step on any traps.
In the middle of the room sat a beautiful diamond, emitting a faint blue light that barely illuminated it's surroundings. It's jagged edges have it a more squarish look than a normal diamond.
Eve looked at it for a while then grabbed it. "Wrong dimension but diamond shiny." She turned around ready to leave, when suddenly, she noticed a tiny, little, insignificant change in the wind.
Before she could turn around The Aquar lunged at Eve, the dagger being held firm in her grip, barely grazing Eve. The winds changed again and she aimed the dagger at her head this time. With Eve only having less than a second's grace to dodge the attacks.
"This is why I hate Suits. A bunch of bitches with authority." A flash, and Eve whipped out her pistol to counter the next attack. "Come on pussy princess. I've got all day."
The Aquar hid in the darkness. Her beady eyes now having a murderous red tint, a little bit more obvious in the dark.
"I know I just said I got all day...but-" without hesitation Eve started firing shots at The Aquar, who couldn't dodge her bullets. But it didn't matter, they barely amount to anything.
After a few minutes of the constant back and forth, Eve started to grow tired. Yawning mid way, creating an opening for The Aquar. She threw the knife in Eve's direction, catching up to it and ready to drag it down through Eve's throat.
In a blink, Eve whipped out both her pistols, firing the bullets into both sides of her head. Her body fell limp, dropping the dagger with a simple clank. Dissolving into water after a few seconds.
Eve's eyes widened in shock, but it was too late.
The dagger was thrust into the back of her head, before being violently dragged upwards, then down her back.
Eve's lifeless eyes met the Aquar's as she fell back, droppimg her guns, and her body landing with a fleshy thud. A red pool forming where her body lay.
The Aquar was panting heavily now. She breaths becoming more steady as she examined Eve's body with care, before finally standing up to adjust her fit. "A human? In this dimension? An invader?"
These questions were running in her head, but they didn't matter. Thorns was dead, a true accomplishment for The Infinity.
"Officer Weihu. Reporting to fifth division to Captain Jusnu. Mission Completed. Thorns...is dea-".
A loud bang echoed around the room. A bullet hole in her head. As her body lost all its color, Eve stood behind her, holding her gun, half her body drenched in her own blood.
"Rule Number 3!" She started with a manic smile. "No matter what you do. No matter how much you try it!"
She walked slowly to the Aquar's side, grabbing the diamond, and pumping her fist in the air.
"I can't die! BITCH!"
