Across the countless realms of the Multiverse, anticipation hung heavy in the air as the worlds once again turned their eyes to the ever-mysterious Death Battle, eager to witness the next clash of titans.
But this time, the excitement was tinged with unease; they couldn't help but wonder if they were only going to show heroes and not other characters such as Villains or Monsters. They could only hope that such things wouldn't come true.
In the Dragon Ball universe, Vegeta was training extremely hard with Beerus and Whis on Beerus' planet as he was still pissed off about losing against Thor.
With a guttural roar, he launched a devastating punch into the air, the sheer force splitting the clouds above and shaking the landscape.
"Damn it! I will not be outdone again, not by that hammer-swinging deity, not by anyone!"
But before Vegeta could even react, Goku materialized out of thin air using Instant Transmission, grinning brightly as always.
"Hey, Vegeta!"
Vegeta stumbled back in surprise before he demanded, "Kakarot! What are you doing here?! I thought you were supposed to be training on Earth, weren't you supposed to be preparing to fight Superman?!"
Goku chuckled as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly, "Heh... I was! But I figured if I want to master Ultra Instinct for real, I'd better come back here and train under Whis again. Plus, I didn't want you to get too far ahead of me!"
"Just like you are training with Lord Beerus so that you can unlock your Ultra Ego form right?" He grinned, to which Vegeta just scowled at him.
"Tch. Whatever. Just stay out of my..." Vegeta looked away before a screen popped out of nowhere, catching the others' attention.
"Ohoho~ what's this?" Whis mused, floating a bit closer, "Oh my, looks like another Death Battle is going to be shown."
Beerus lazily opened one eye from his resting position on a nearby boulder, "Hmph. This better be entertaining. Unlike that embarrassing spectacle you put on last time, Vegeta."
Meanwhile in the Marvel universe, Thor was having a banquet as the Avengers celebrated his victory against Vegeta.
"ANOTHER!" Thor yelled as he slammed his mug of ale onto the table.
"Wow Thor, you can really chug a bottle huh? Not gonna lie that you totally deserve it after kicking Vegeta's ass." Tony commented, lounging in his chair with his feet propped on the edge of the table. A glass of brandy twirled lazily in his hand as he smirked.
Bruce adjusted his glasses, setting aside his fork and knife with a thoughtful nod, "To be fair, the match could have gone either way. Vegeta's power is... staggering. But his temper and pride made him reckless. That's what tipped the scales."
Steve chuckled between bites of roasted chicken, "I'll say. Watching you two duke it out made me feel grateful you're with us, Thor. The thought of facing that kind of power? I don't envy Vegeta's enemies."
Natasha sipped her wine with a smirk, "Let's just be glad Thor was the one in the simulation. Anyone else might not have won against him."
"Uh... does anyone else think that Vegeta might not take his loss very well?" Peter Parker looked up from his plate with worry.
"Kid, that's the understatement of the century." Tony said with a grin.
Sam laughed as he looked at Thor with a grin, "So... when's round two?"
Thor smirked and raised his mug higher, "Should the Saiyan prince wish for a rematch, I shall meet him in glorious battle once more. Until then...let us feast in the name of victory!"
Suddenly, a glowing holographic screen shimmered into existence, floating just above the center of the long dining table, surprising all of them.
"What the? Another one?" Clint raised an eyebrow, leaning back in his chair with a half-eaten roll in hand. "Man, these things pop up more often than Stark's ego. Guess they're not done surprising us."
However, Thor's eyes were already locked onto the screen, gleaming with anticipation. He leaned forward eagerly as his massive hands pressed against the table, "HAH! Most excellent! Another contest of champions revealed before us! Let us bear witness to their clash, and may valor and strength once more decide the victor!"
The Avengers traded curious and uneasy glances as the hologram began to flicker, the promise of yet another Death Battle looming over them.
["Immortality. For many, it is either a curse or a blessing." Wiz quoted.]
["But for these guys, it's actually both! Like Doomsday, the unstoppable force that killed Superman!" Boomstick introduced the first fighter.]
["And SCP-682, the Hard-to-Destroy Reptile of the SCP Foundation." Wiz introduced the second fighter.]
["He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick." Boomstick introduced themselves.]
["And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle." Wiz finished the intro, as the screen then shows a picture of Doomsday and SCP-682.]
A heavy, unnatural silence rippled across the Omniverse the moment the next contenders were revealed for the next Death Battle. It wasn't the kind of silence that came from awe or admiration, no this was a suffocating stillness born from pure, unfiltered dread.
Parents instinctively pulled their children close, shielding their eyes from the unspeakable terror now displayed before them. Entire civilizations collectively flinched, their minds struggling to comprehend the scale of malice radiating from the screen. It wasn't just their appearance but their oppressive aura that seemed to sink its claws into their soul.
Heroes and Protagonists across the Omniverse have grim expressions on their faces, and they have silently vowed to kill those abominations should they ever appear in their worlds. Even the villains have a sudden urge to eliminate those monstrosities as they can't help but feel a certain feeling upon looking at them.
And that feeling... is FEAR!!!
And then came the revelation that sent shockwaves across the entire Omniverse, a revelation so staggering it shattered any remaining sense of security.
One of the contenders had killed Superman.
The very same Superman who had once stood victorious as the first winner of Death Battle. The Man of Steel. The symbol of hope. The one who beat Goku... had fallen to this monster.
The implications were staggering. If someone like him could bring down Superman, then what chance did anyone else have of killing it?
In that moment, a single truth echoed across countless dimensions:
The game has changed.
{DC Universe}
Watchtower:
The room was quiet when they all saw exactly who was in the next Death Battle, after all, one of them is the one who killed Superman.
Superman's expression shifted instantly. His jaw tightened and his fists clenched. No words were needed to explain what he was feeling after all, every hero in the room remembered exactly what happened that day.
"Doomsday... so he's the next contestant in this Death Battle?"
"You've got to be kidding me!" Flash nearly jumped out of his seat and waved his arms in disbelief, "You're saying Doomsday is in the next Death Battle?! That Doomsday?! Did those two hosts lose their minds?!"
Batman narrowed his eyes as he looked at the screen, "And this SCP-682 is chosen to fight against him, then this thing must be just as dangerous as him."
"Hold on!" Hal Jordan cut in as he shook his head, "You're telling me that a giant lizard is supposed to take on the thing that killed Superman? Are they sure that it can fight back against Doomsday?"
"Don't be too quick to judge," Diana said calmly, but there was a hint of concern in her voice, "If both of them are considered immortal... the question is, can either of them truly die?"
Green Lantern (John Stewart) nodded grimly, "Indeed, this could very well end in a stalemate."
As the others continued debating, Superman stayed quiet, still staring at the screen until he spoke up, "I've died once. I'm not eager to see that happen again... especially if something worse than Doomsday exists in the Omniverse."
{SCP Foundation Universe}
Inside a high-security, dimly lit chamber buried deep within an undisclosed Foundation site, the air hung heavy with unease as multiple top SCP personnel including researchers, containment specialists, and security officers, sat in front of a massive screen, watching the latest Death Battle reveal unfold. And the moment they heard the name SCP-682, the atmosphere turned thick with dread and morbid fascination.
"Oh come on, really? Are they really putting that bone-covered meat tank against our precious indestructible murder lizard?" Dr. Bright quipped, leaning back in his chair with a mix of amusement and grim resignation.
"And they're saying that Doomsday killed Superman... That is impressive. But SCP-682? That bastard's tanked [REDACTED] class nuclear warheads, turned into gas, survived anti-matter... and kept going." Dr. Clef muttered with an unreadable expression.
"Heh, I would love to see them try to simulate this." Dr. Kondraki snorted bitterly, "I wouldn't be surprised if they just kept going even after the universe was destroyed."
"You're all missing the real problem," Dr. Gears said in his usual cold monotone, his fingers laced together in front of him, "If these broadcasts revealed SCP-682 to the public... then everything we've worked for and sacrificed will be all for nothing."
There was now silence in the facility as everyone else was horrified that he was right, once SCP-682 was revealed. The public will be shocked and horrified of a creature living among them and the government will certainly have their heads for this.
"Containment was always a problem." A security officer muttered, "But now the world will know what we've been hiding. And when they realize we've barely kept it leashed..."
"They'll come for us." Another researcher whispered in a horrified tone, "Governments. Civilians. Everyone. And they'll want answers."
"Aw man! And I was hoping for my vacation in the Bahamas next week!" Dr Bright complained.
Dr. Iceberg slowly turned to look at him and said, "We don't have vacations, Bright."
"Exactly!"
SCP-682 Containment Site:
The reinforced observation glass is thick with claw marks, and automated turret arrays hum softly overhead as a holographic screen has just revealed the next Death Battle.
Only a few Level 4 personnel are authorized to observe. Most watch behind multi-layered security barriers as all eyes are on the subject: the Hard-to-Destroy Reptile, currently hunched low in the acid bath, yet glaring up at the screen with furious intelligence.
For several seconds, it doesn't move. It just stares.
At the image of Doomsday.
At the words "Death Battle".
At the implication of a rival.
The air in the chamber grows thick as the ambient temperature drops unnaturally.
Then, it begins to grin.
"They believe they've found me an equal...?" SCP-682 snickered horribly, before it burst out laughing, "It doesn't matter in the end, no matter who stands in my way, I'll always find a way to kill them, Doomsday was it? I hope you give me some entertainment before I crush you like the insect you are."
["Krypton. Home planet of the world's greatest hero Superman, and poetically enough, birthplace of the brute that would kill him." Wiz began as the screen shows a picture of Krypton.]
["Oh yeah, before Krypton went kaboom all sorts of stuff happened but in this case we're looking WAY back." Boomstick said as the screen then shows the desolate wasteland that was Krypton.]
["Back to Krypton's prehistoric days, a survival of the fittest wasteland teeming with the deadliest creatures the universe had to offer." Wiz explained, "And observing the planet, an alien science team headed by the mysterious Bertron decided to conduct his experiments."]

["Bertron here wanted to create the ultimate lifeform and saw Krypton to be a prime testing ground for his experiments. What sort of experiments you ask? Oh you know nothing much, just SENDING A BABY OUT TO DIE!! HARVESTING IT'S REMAINS!! CLONING THEM!! AND REPEATING THIS PROCESS THOUSANDS OF TIMES!! UNTIL HE HAD THE ULTIMATE BABY THAT HAD UNDERGONE RAPID EVOLUTION TO BE ABLE TO SURVIVE!!! WHAT THE FUCK MAN?!!" Boomstick yelled as the screen showed all of the horrific experiments Bertron did to create Doomsday.]
A collective gasp echoed throughout the Omniverse as the full extent of Bertron's horrific experiments was revealed. Beings from countless realities watched in stunned silence, their expressions twisted in shock and disgust, as they were disgusted to see just how cruel someone can be in order to create something that can kill Superman.
But still, some of them can't deny the results if Doomsday was able to kill someone as strong as Superman, but the majority were still horrified to learn that Bertron was committing child murder in order to achieve his goals to create the ultimate lifeform.
{DC Universe}
Watchtower:
Superman's usually warm, compassionate eyes turned ice-cold as the screen displayed Bertron's atrocities. His hands clenched into fists so tight that his knuckles turned white.
"This... this is monstrous." He growled, his voice trembling with barely contained rage. "He tortured an infant. Over and over. Just to create... that."
The image of Doomsday, the creature that had *killed* him flashed before his eyes. Now, knowing its origins, the horror of its origin story hit him like a freight train. This wasn't just a mindless beast. It was the result of thousands of murdered children, each death more agonizing than the last.
Batman's jaw tightened hard as his mind was already racing, analyzing every frame of the footage and every detail of Bertron's experiments. The sheer scale of Doomsday's suffering was almost incomprehensible.
"This... this is insane. Not even the Joker is crazy enough to do this."
His grip on his gauntlet tightened. If Bertron were still alive, Batman would have already been planning on how to make him pay.
Diana's face twisted in disgust and fury. As an Amazon, she had seen war, cruelty, and the darkest depths of mankind's nature but this? This was something else entirely.
"By the gods..." She gasped out, her voice thick with fury, "That's just torture. And Krypton... an entire planet, was used for this abomination?"
The Flash looked like he was about to be sick. His usual quick wit and humor were gone and were replaced by sheer horror.
"He... he just kept killing them? Over and over? Like they were nothing?!" Barry's voice cracked in horror, "How could anyone do that?!"
Cyborg, despite being a half-machine, still felt his human half recoil in disgust as he saw what Bertron did in the name of science.
"Man... I've seen some messed-up stuff. But this? This is some next-level shit."
Superman, after a long, tense silence, finally spoke, "Doomsday was never just a monster. He was a victim. A victim of thousands of deaths before he ever took his first breath."
Batman's glare was sharper than a blade as he pointed out, "And now we know exactly what kind of evil that created him."
Diana placed a hand on Superman's shoulder and said, "We will never let something like this happen again."
{SCP Foundation Universe}
Dr. Bright was unusually quiet as he stared at the screen with a rare look of disgust on his otherwise eccentric face, "What the actual fuck?! That's like SO many levels of wrong!! Even for me! And I've done a lot of questionable shit!"
Dr. Clef leaned forward slowly, a cigarette smoldering between his fingers as his eyes narrowed at the grotesque footage of Bertron's 'experiments.'
"And I thought we had ethical issues." He muttered under his breath, flicking ash into a tray, "This Bertron guy makes SCP-106 look like a daycare worker."
Dr. Kondraki slammed a fist onto the desk, rattling coffee mugs and papers and yelled, "He killed THOUSANDS of infants just to get a weapon that hates everything?! Jesus Christ, this makes even my worst stunts look like shit compared to that!"
Dr. Glass removed his glasses, pinching the bridge of his nose as though the very concept of Bertron's work was giving him a migraine "This is beyond unethical it's... it's just wrong. Imagine if someone at the Foundation had ever suggested a project like this. The Ethics Committee would..." He cut himself off, realizing how absurd that sounded, "Actually... no, the Ethics Committee would probably explode on the spot."
At the mention of the committee, Dr. Gears looked up from his notepad, his face as blank and expressionless as ever, "Correction: the Ethics Committee would probably initiate a site-wide lockdown to prevent replication of such practices."
{Monsterverse Universe}
Dr. Illene Andrews clenches her fists as her usually measured tone cracked under the weight of disgust, "He desecrated life itself... just to create a monster that hates everything. No creature should ever be born from torment like this."
Beside her, Dr. Chen clasped a trembling hand over her mouth, her eyes widened with horror as she muttered, "This makes what Monarch did with titans look like child's play. Experimenting on Kaiju DNA was reckless enough, but this... this is psychopathic."
Mark Russell's face turned pale as though the bile was already rising in his throat, "This... this is just wrong!! How can someone... anyone have the mindset to do this!!!"
Madison Russel sat frozen, her eyes locked onto the horrors unfolding on the screen. Her lips quivered as she spoke, "He... he killed that child. Over and over. Just for one monster." Her voice cracked, the sound barely more than a whisper as she hugged herself, "I... I can't watch this anymore."
Far below the waves, the ocean itself seemed to shudder as Godzilla stirred. His spines crackled with faint, dangerous light, as his dorsal plates flared blue for a moment with the rage that built within him. He doesn't understand the words, but the imagery is clear. His roar bursts forth, shaking the earth as pure fury is directed at Bertron and everything he represents.
In another place, Mothra lets out a sorrowful, high-pitched chitter, her wings trembling with luminescence. The sight of countless lives extinguished fills her with grief.
Atop a volcanic peak, Rodan reacted with the opposite reaction. His beak opened in a piercing, rage-filled shriek, his wings spreading wide as the molten winds surged with his fury.
["Bertron named his creation 'Ultimate' although the rest of the universe would come to know it as Doomsday, and it certainly lived up to that name. Wiz informed them, "It evolved the ability to adapt without Bertron's aid, becoming a nigh-unstoppable, ever-evolving force. He went on to slaughter every last one of the dangerous beasts of Krypton it fought but one group remained."]
["Forced to endure the agony of death for decades. Doomsday had a hatred for all life embedded deep in his genes, and he wasn't going to let Bertron get away easily." Boomsitck remarked as the screen shows a picture of Doomsday.]
["Doomsday massacred Bertron with his team, letting none survive. Soon after escaping Krypton, he would travel across the universe, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake." Wiz said ominously.]
{DC Universe}
Titans Tower:
Beast Boy nearly fell off the couch in shock, "Okay, wait, wait, wait, so this guy was literally built to suffer and die over and over again until he became unkillable?! That's like the worst video game respawn system ever!"
Wonder Girl's face softened with pity, "That's beyond cruel... his whole existence was nothing but pain. No wonder he carries so much hatred."
Raven's eyes narrowed at the screen and said, "His very being is built on death and destruction. Bertron wanted a monster, and he created one. In the end, he got exactly what he deserved."
Robin crossed his arms, his gaze fixed on the screen with sharp focus, "He slaughtered Krypton's most dangerous beasts and even turned on his own creator. If he's that adaptable, strategies won't work for long. No wonder Superman has a tough time putting him down."
Starfire pulled her knees close to her chest, her usual brightness dimmed with unease, "To be forced to endure endless pain... it is beyond cruelty. Yet he chooses to bring that suffering to others... it is most terrifying."
{Starcraft Universe (After HOTS and LOTV)}
Hyperion:
Jim Raynor leaned back heavily in his chair, boots propped against the table as he nursed a half-empty glass of whiskey. The glow from the screen painted hard lines across his weary face.
"So lemme get this straight." He muttered, shaking his head slowly, "Some lunatic scientist kept killin' a kid, bringin' him back, and tossin' him into the meat grinder again and again 'til he turned into... that?" His lips curled into a bitter half-smile, "Damn... and I thought Mengsk was bad. This Bertron guy makes him look like a saint."
Sarah Kerrigan's arms folded tight across her chest, her gaze locked on to the slaughter unfolding onscreen, "He disgusts me, if he wasn't already dead, I would've killed him myself."
Artanis stood tall, his golden armor reflecting the light as his voice rang with sorrow and righteous anger, "Such desecration of life itself... it mirrors the darkest deeds of the Xel'Naga. To pervert creation so wantonly... this Bertron embodies the very hubris that leads civilizations to ruin."
Tychus Findlay let out a long, low whistle, leaning back with his ever-present cigar tucked in his teeth, "Well, shit. Built ta' die a thousand times 'til he couldn't be killed no more? That's one helluva training regimen. But man, that's just sick. Makes my skin crawl just lookin' at him."
"Efficient. Brutal process. Unnatural, yet... effective. Survival through forced evolution. Method... replicable. Disturbing. Admirable." Abathur shifted in the shadows, his alien voice carrying its unsettling monotone as his mandibles clicked.
Raynor's eyes narrowed at the zerg, and he slammed his glass down hard enough to rattle the table.
"Don't even think about it, bug. I mean it."
Abathur merely tilted his head, his eyestalks twitching as though cataloging the genetic potential.
Nova Terra adjusted her visor, the glass gleaming cold under the dim light as she said, "If that thing ever set foot in the Koprulu sector... Dominion, Zerg, Protoss... it wouldn't matter. Entire systems would burn before anyone could even mount a response."
{Image Comics Universe}
New York:
Spawn's glowing green eyes narrowed as the footage played, the sight of Doomsday slaughtering Krypton's monsters and then his own creator making his grip on the symbiotic chains tighten.
"Tch... figures. Some twisted scientist thinks he can play god, only to unleash something he couldn't control."
The shadows of his cape curled around him as he continued, "Bertron thought he was creating perfection, but all he did was make an abomination. And the universe paid the price."
He spat to the side, the act more symbolic than necessary, "I've seen this before. Men in power, scientists, soldiers, they never think about the cost. They only see the prize, never the wreckage left behind. And when it all goes to hell, it's everyone else who suffers. Everyone except them."
His gaze lingered on the footage, his voice rising into a growl:
"If Bertron were still alive, I'd drag his soul straight to Hell myself."
["Including interrupting the wedding of Darkseid, yes THAT Darkseid! But the writers have to go and have Darkseid leave after the planet was ruined and robbed us of the fight, where's our fight damn it?!" Boomstick complained.]
["Oh he'd find a fight soon enough when he found himself on Oa, headquarters of the Green Lantern Corps. The Corp tried to stop him but it was an absolute slaughter. Doomsday killed hundreds of lanterns like it was nothing. It took a Guardian of the Universe sacrificing his entire life to finally stop Doomsday's rampage." Wiz informed them.]
["And it's not like Lanterns are anything to scoff at they're crazy strong. But even they pale in comparison to those Guardians of the Universe guys, they may look silly but a single one has enough power to destroy not just the universe but EVERY universe in DC's Cosmology." Boomstick revealed.]
Popup: The Guardians were able to hurt the Anti-Monitor, a threat to the infinite multiverse: they should also be above Green Lanterns, who have performed similar feats.
{DC Universe}
Planet Oa:
All of the green lanterns, especially the newer ones were horrified that their attacks and constructs did nothing to it, and they had one of the most powerful weapons in the universe and it did nothing against it.
Kyle Rayner froze, his ring glowing faintly as his grip tightened into a fist, "Hundreds of Lanterns... slaughtered... like they were nothing? And it took a Guardian sacrificing his life just to stop him? We wield one of the most powerful weapons in the universe, and it didn't matter. We couldn't stop him. Not even slow him down..." His voice cracked with frustration as he continued, "We're supposed to be the universe's protectors, and Doomsday made us look like cannon fodder."
Guy Gardner slammed a fist into the air, his anger barely containing the tremor of fear beneath it, "Tch! What the hell are we even doing if one overgrown science experiment can destroy the Corps like tissue paper?! I don't care if it's Doomsday, Darkseid or the Devil himself, if that bastard shows his face again, he's gonna eat my fist before I go down! You hear me?!"
Kilowog lowered his head. His massive hands trembled as he forced himself to speak, "Poozers... hundreds of 'em, gone just like that. Lanterns who believed they were strong enough to hold the line. And Doomsday... he tore through 'em like they were nothing. Didn't even break a sweat." His throat tightened before he forced it down, "One way or another... this freak's gonna pay. He has to pay."
From the edge of the gathering, Arisia Rrab's voice wavered. Her hand covering her mouth before she spoke, "A Guardian... dead? They're supposed to be unstoppable. If they can fall... what chance do we have on stopping him?"
The weight of her words lingered. For the first time in memory, the Guardians themselves looked unsettled. The ancient beings floated at the head of the chamber, their normally impassive expressions fractured with something dangerously close to unease.
"It is true. A Guardian gave his life to halt Doomsday's rampage. Such a sacrifice is unprecedented. It is a reminder... that even the oldest and most powerful of us are not immune to death. Nor to failure." Ganthet spoke up in a sorrowful tone.
Planet Korrugar:
While the rest of the Green Lanterns were recovering from the shock, Sinestro had his arms folded neatly across his chest, his crimson skin cast in the glow of his yellow ring. His lips curled into a cold sneer as his eyes locked onto the screen.
"Hundreds of Lanterns dead, and a Guardian sacrificed his life. And for what? To stall a beast that cannot die." He spat, his voice dripping with venom, "Tell me, oh wise Guardians, how many more lives will you waste before you admit your Corps is weak. Your vision is flawed. And your blind faith in willpower has left you all exposed."
A deep growl rumbled behind him as Arkillo threw his head back and laughed as he bared his jagged teeth in something close to amusement, "Hahaha! This Doomsday! He doesn't spread fear, he is fear! Imagine the terror he inspires if he joins us, Sinestro! The terror alone would be enough to bring the galaxy to its knees."
But Sinestro's smirk faltered for a moment as he scowled, "And yet... he is a beast without reason, without restraint. He would crush the yellow and green lanterns alike without hesitation. That makes him dangerous, even to me."
Although Arkillo snarled in frustration, he couldn't deny that Sinestro's words held some truth.
{Arifureta Universe}
Tortus:
Hajime leaned back against his chair, his single golden eye narrowing at the footage, "So this monster wiped out an army of interstellar super cops like they were nothing? And a Guardian had to sacrifice himself just to stop him... That's not a win at all. If this thing truly adapts to their attacks, then even that sacrifice only bought them some time. Nothing more."
Yue nestled closer against Hajime's shoulder, her crimson eyes half-lidded, and her tone was soft yet carried an unmistakable weight, "Something that cannot die... cannot be defeated. At best, it can be delayed. A beast like that... is the very definition of unstoppable."
Shea's rabbit ears drooped as she flailed her arms wildly and panicked, "W-wait, wait, WAIT! You're telling me he killed hundreds of Lanterns who can supposedly survive in space, shoot energy beams, and fight across galaxies?! And a guardian had to kill himself just to stop him?!" She grabbed her head in disbelief, her voice rising to a shriek as she yelled, "What kind of monster is that thing?!"
Tio's lips curved into her usual sultry smirk, but her golden eyes flickered with something far less playful than usual, "Fufufu... such raw destructive power. This 'Doomsday' is no mere opponent... he embodies the very concept of despair itself." Her smirk faltered before her voice dropped into a rare seriousness, "...Even I, with all my pride as a dragon, would find no joy in battle with such a creature."
Kaori Shirasaki's face paled as she pressed a hand against her chest,
"All those Lanterns... all those people... gone just like that. And he didn't even stop... he just keeps going. How do you fight something that doesn't stay down?"
Myu clutched tightly at Hajime's arm as she buried her face against him, "Papa... that scary monster won't come here... right? He can't hurt us?"
Hajime's expression softened and placed a hand atop her head as he forced a small smile, "Don't worry, Myu. If he ever showed his ugly face here, I'd make sure he never even got close to you. Unkillable or not, he'd regret the day he thought he could touch my family."
But even as he made that promise, Yue's crimson gaze flicked up toward him knowingly and he looked back at her with his golden eye glimmering with a rare uncertainty.
["Which is infinite, and Doomsday power through their attacks like it was nothing, adapting to them all the while." Wiz continued, "Oh and remember the guardian who gave his life to stop Doomsday? Hah! No don't be ridiculous, a little something like THAT wouldn't slow him down."]

["Yeah, instead what happened is that the Guardian's dying burst of energy opened a spatial rift that Doomsday fell through, landing on the planet Calaton. Which he of course, destroyed for the next few years." Boomstick stated.]
["The last surviving Catatonians pulled all of their energy together to manifest an entity known as the Radiant, that was finally able to put Doomsday down for good. His corpse being transported into space in a steel casket, the universe can rest easy." Wiz reassured them, much to the Omniverse's relief.]
["Psyke! Yeah even if Doomsday dies, he'll get better, his casket of course crashed on Earth, and while he was buried deep underground from the impact, he was regenerating, adapting, and returning to life." Boomstick butted in which horrified the entire Omniverse.]
{Doom Slayer Universe}
Fortress of Doom:
The room was dead silent as Boomstick's words sank in.
The faint hum of VEGA's calm synthetic voice was the first to break the silence, "Fascinating. The creature's ability to adapt and regenerate appears limitless. It renders conventional containment or termination strategies ineffective. Its biology functions as a closed evolutionary loop."
"An organism that defies extinction... created from the reckless ambitions of a single man. Bertron's hubris rivals the arrogance of Urdak itself. If such a being were to appear in our universe, the destruction would be... incalculable." Hayden's metallic voice cut in with his usual cold precision.
The Slayer said nothing. He sat in silence as the reflection of Doomsday's rampage flickered across the visor of his helmet. His gauntleted fists curled tighter and tighter until the armored plates groaned under the strain.
"I can see that you are considering whether such a creature can be killed." Hayden noticed his tense demeanor and spoke up.
The Slayer's silence was louder than words.
"Based on the data presented, repeated direct combat would only accelerate its growth. It learns, adapts, and evolves. Even the Slayer's... unconventional methods may prove insufficient. The question is not if it can be killed, but whether the universe could endure the cost of such a confrontation." VEGA spoke with calm deliberation, though even his synthetic tone carried a note of caution.
"If Doomsday cannot be destroyed permanently, then he must be contained. We do not know how many of these things such as Doomsday are out there and how strong this SCP-682 really is."
Hayden's voice rumbled.
Doom Slayer finally stood up. His fists clenched, and his visor locked onto the image of Doomsday ripping through the Catatonians as though they were nothing.
Without a word, he reached down and loaded a shotgun shell into his weapon with a deafening CLACK.
"Of course. I should have known. You intend to try." Hayden said in a monotone voice.
The Slayer's only response was racking the shotgun.
VEGA processed the act with calm resignation, "Very well. Should such a threat ever arise within our domain... the Slayer will confront it. As always."
{Halo Universe}
UNSC Eternity:
Master Chief stood in silence, his armored frame unshaken even as the screen before him displayed the horror of Doomsday's rampage. His gauntleted hand curled into a fist as the metal joints creak softly, "...You don't stop him. Not permanently. You just... delay the inevitable."
A shimmer of light flickered beside him as Cortana's hologram came online, her expression hardened as the screen showed Doomsday massacring the Catatonians.
"Regeneration at that scale... adaptation beyond any Forerunner technology I've ever catalogued. Which means every single attempt to kill him only makes him harder to stop the next time." She folded her arms, muttering under her breath. "It's like fighting the Flood, except worse. At least the Flood needs biomass. This thing doesn't."
Across the chamber, Arbiter Thel 'Vadam's mandibles flared. His dark eyes burned with contempt as he watched Doomsday tear through the landscape, "This... Doomsday... is not a warrior. Were such an abomination to appear in our galaxy, even the might of the Covenant armada would be reduced to ash."
Sergeant Johnson let out a low whistle, shaking his head as he leaned back in his chair, "Well, ain't that just peachy. A big grey bastard that doesn't stay dead. We'd throw every last bullet, missile, and nuke the UNSC's got at him, and all we'd do is piss him off. I've fought a lotta ugly things, Covenant zealots, Flood infestations, hell, even those Forerunners but this one? He's the kind that makes you want to retire yesterday."
Silence hung heavy for a moment, broken only by the faint hum of the holoscreen before Master Chief broke the silence again, "Then there's only one option. We have to contain it. Make sure he never reaches this galaxy."
The Arbiter's mandibles clicked as his claws dug into the arms of his chair, "And if he does, then only an alliance of every world, every fleet, and every single soldier united in a single cause might slow him down. Even then... I fear it would not be enough."
Johnson exhaled sharply, tilting his cap back as he looked back at Master Chief, "Hell, Chief. If it did come down to it... if anyone's dumb enough, or tough enough to stand toe-to-toe with that ugly son of a bitch..." He chuckled darkly, "My money's still on you."
{Taimanin Universe}
Gosha Academy:
Asagi Igawa's fingers coiled tightly around the hilt of her blade and growled, "So even killing him changes nothing...? Every strike, every effort... only makes him harder to kill the next time."
Sakura Igawa's usual playful smirk is gone and has been replaced with genuine unease, "Heh... a monster that just won't stay down. Sounds like something straight out of Black's labs. Except even they have never made something like this. Honestly? I don't even know if we'd stand a chance. He'd chew through us, through Tokyo... through everything."
With a sharp crack, Rinko Akiyama's fist slammed into the table with frustration written on her face, "Damn it! That's not even fighting anymore, it's suicide! You can't fight against something that doesn't die! What's the point of even resisting when every battle just makes him stronger?!"
Oboro chuckled darkly, her golden eyes gleaming with malicious delight as she leaned back in her seat, "Ohhh, but isn't it intriguing? A creature that evolves from death itself... an endless predator. That is true power. That is the kind of monster even demons would kneel before. Honestly, I'd love to see him unleashed upon this rotten world. Watch it all burn."
"Don't you dare!" Asagi's head snapped toward her with fury blazing in her eyes as she hissed, "Don't you dare think this is a good thing! Even the demons you worship would be torn apart!"
Kikue Tanizaki adjusted her glasses, though the slight tremor in her hands betrayed her calm façade, "It's... horrifying. A biological impossibility, and yet, there it is. A creature that will never die and adapt to anything we throw at it. It's evolution turned into a weaponized feedback loop." She swallowed hard before she spoke, "Containment would be the only option. But if even the Catatonians couldn't hold him..."
"Containment? That's a joke. He'd break out eventually. And when he does, he'll remember how to kill you faster next time." Sakura muttered under her breath.
Yukikaze Mizuki clenched her fists, trying to put on a brave face despite the massacre shown on the screen, "Then we fight anyway! Even if we can't win, even if it's hopeless... what's the alternative? Just sit and wait for him to destroy us? No. If that thing shows up in our world, we go down swinging."
Oboro's smirk widened, her tongue sliding across her lips in wicked delight, "Spoken like a true fool. But oh, how entertaining it would be to watch you try."
Asagi turned her gaze back to the footage, her eyes burning with determination despite the odds, "No matter what it takes... even if it's futile, even if we fall... we fight. Because if we don't... there won't be a world left to save."
["It wasn't long before he escaped, quickly taking on the entire Justice League like they were toys to him. Drawn to the Kryptonian DNA from his birthplace, his time on Earth would culminate in his fateful battle with Superman where deciding to fight to the bitter end Superman... would die. Taking Doomsday out in a mutually fatal blow with both fighters died." Wiz revealed which obviously shocked everyone in the entire Omniverse.]
["Yeah, Superman! The guy who can break the bonds of infinity, shatter entire multiverses with a punch, the guy who beat Goku was killed by this freak!" Boomsitck exclaimed wildly as the screen shows a video of Doomsday and Superman fighting.]
A collective gasp echoed throughout the Omniverse as they saw the fight and its outcome. They all watched in horror at Superman's corpse as they knew and watched just how strong he is, if Doomsday was able to defeat him, then just how SCP-682 would be able to stand against him?
{Dragon Ball Super Universe}
Beerus' Planet:
Goku's eyes widened and his jaw dropped, "Whaaaaat?! Superman... died?! No way! He's one of the strongest fighters out there, even stronger than me when we fought! For something to take him down... that thing's gotta be super strong!"
Vegeta's scowl deepened, his fists trembling despite his attempt to appear composed, "Tch! Don't tell me this 'Doomsday' actually killed him. The Kryptonian who beat you Kakarot." His eyes flickered with unease even as he growled, "If that beast existed in our universe, I doubt even Lord Zeno himself could erase it so easily..."
Whis tapped his staff on the ground, his ever-calm smile held a hint of curiosity, "Hmm, fascinating indeed. A creature that evolves endlessly, adapts instantly, and possesses the raw power to strike down someone like Superman... that is indeed quite troublesome to deal with."
Beerus's ears twitched as his tail swished irritably, "Hmph. So the so-called Man of Steel was beaten? Pathetic. But if what they're saying is true, that this 'Doomsday' can't die, then even I'd be... mildly concerned."
For once, Goku went quiet. His brows furrowed before a grin spread across his face, "Heh... so this Doomsday beat Superman, huh? That means... I have to fight him someday!" His fists clenched with excitement and his eyes burned with eagerness to fight against a strong opponent.
Vegeta snapped his head towards Goku before he yelled, "You IDIOT! Did you not listen to a single word they just said?! That monster adapts to everything we throw at it and it just comes back stronger each time it's killed! Not even you could stand a chance against something like that!"
WHIS chuckled softly behind his hand, "Oh, Vegeta, surely you know by now that sounds exactly like the type of challenge Goku lives for. Still... Doomsday seems less like a warrior and more like the embodiment of destruction itself."
Beerus smirked darkly, his aura crackling faintly as he sat up, "If that abomination ever dares to enter my universe..." His voice dropped to a low, dangerous growl, "...Then I'll erase it. No matter how it evolves, no matter how it adapts. No creature defies a God of Destruction."
{DC Universe}
Watchtower:
The room fell into heavy silence as the screen showed the battle between Superman and Doomsday.
Superman's expression remains unchanged, he was told what happened after he was 'killed'. The Justice League held his funeral, criminals rampaged across Metropolis, and Cyborg Superman... He really didn't want to imagine the expressions of Lois crying over his dead body.
At last, he spoke out, "...I never realized I'd have to push myself that far. Doomsday... he wasn't like the others. He wasn't someone I could hold back against and the only way to stop him was to meet him head-on. I gave everything I had to stop him..." His eyes lowered, shadowed by the memory of his death and Lois crying over him, "...and it cost me my life."
"Indeed." Batman agreed, his cowl masked his expression, but his narrowed eyes betrayed his intention, "And now, with this broadcast, everyone across the Omniverse knows that you can be killed. That knowledge alone will embolden criminals, warlords, and gods alike. They'll think they can exploit your mortality."
Flash gave a half-hearted laugh as he exclaimed, "C'mon, Bats... no one's gonna be that crazy. I mean, there is still that barrier preventing them from actually hurting anyone. There's no way they can actually hurt Supes the way Doomsday did."
"Do not dismiss Batman's concerns so easily." Wonder Woman interjected as her gaze rested on Clark, "Your death reminded us that even superheroes can fall. It was a terrible day for the entire League... for the entire world."
"She's right, big guy." Hal Jordan leaned back with his usually confident demeanor, "We really thought you were gone for good. Seeing you fall like that... it shook us. Honestly, it's still a miracle that you came back at all. Not many people get a second chance after something like that."
Superman lifted his head, his eyes sweeping across his friends, his family. He nodded solemnly as a faint smile spread across his face, "...And that's exactly why I fight. Because I know what I mean to this world. To all of you. Doomsday may have taken my life once... but he didn't take my resolve. This time, I won't let him win."
Batman's eyes narrowed further, analyzing every possibility that is racing through his mind, "You may not get the chance to prepare. If SCP-682 is anything like Doomsday..." He paused for a moment before he added, "That means we all have to be ready. Every contingency, every weapon, and every strategy we could muster. We can't afford to underestimate something like him again."
LexCorp Tower:
The glow of the massive screen illuminated Lex Luthor's sharp features as he leaned forward in his chair. His hands clasped tightly together as his eyes never left the image of Superman's broken body on the battlefield.
"... Remarkable. Truly remarkable." Luthor said in a low tone, "For years, I've invested billions, risked everything, trying to prove that the 'Man of Steel' was not invincible. And then, out of nowhere... a mindless beast tears him down."
A smirk tugged at his lips before it faded into a look of irritation, "It caught me completely off guard. To think that Superman would lose and not by my hand... I never would have imagined. A shame, though... that Doomsday is nothing more than a rampaging monster. If he were capable of obedience, he could have been the perfect weapon at my disposal."
Mercy Graves stood behind him, her posture straight, though her sharp eyes flickered with concern, "Then what are your orders, sir? Do you wish to study the creature? Or... attempt containment?"
Lex let out a long sigh and swiveled his chair away from the screen to face her, "... No. Not yet. First, we need to deal with this barrier. This... cage they've trapped us in. My resources are limited while we're cut off from the outside. Yet somehow my employees are able to come and go freely." His eyes narrowed into a dangerous glare, "Which means that there's a weakness, and I will find it."
["Anyways after being transported back into space, Doomsday eventually landed himself on Apocalypse, the world ruled by drumroll please... Darkseid! You know the guy he crashed his wedding ages ago." Boomsitck reminded them.]
["Doomsday began to lay waste to Apocalypse, Darkseid obviously can't stand for this and the pair engaged in combat." Wiz continued.]
["Finally payoff!" Boomsitck shouted.]
["Defying all odds, Doomsday actually beat Darkseid fair and square." Wiz mentioned as the screen shows a picture of Doomsday and Darkseid fighting each other.]
Popup: Numerous factors strongly indicate that Doomsday did not fight Darkseid's true form in their battles, rather dueling one of Darkseid's avatars.
["This is the guy that made the Justice League collectively shit themselves whenever he shows up, and Doomsday beat him!" Boomsitck yelled.]
["Doomsday even shrugged off Darkseid's Omega Effect, which erases the target from all of reality." Wiz added.]
["Okay that's not evolution anymore, that's just bullshit." Boomstick complained.]
Apokolips:
Darkseid sat motionless upon his obsidian throne as the hellfires of Apokolips raged behind him. His crimson eyes glowed like dying suns and his expression remained expressionless as ever.
"Boomstick... Wiz... you dare prattle about things you cannot comprehend." His voice was low and vibrating with restrained wrath.
"That battle you so gleefully recount... was not with me. It was with an avatar. A projection of my will. To claim Doomsday has 'defeated' Darkseid is the delusion of fools. No beast, no man, no god has ever triumphed over the true Darkseid."
The Lord of Apokolips rose from his throne as his towering frame cast shadows as he put his arms behind his back.
"Doomsday is strong. That much is undeniable... But strength is not everything. He is a weapon whereas I... am inevitability. I am the end of all things."
His eyes ignited with his omega Beams crackling with silent fury.
"The Omega Effect is not merely an attack, it is the decree of Darkseid. What he survived was not its truest form, for only I decide when my will becomes absolute. Doomsday lives only because I have allowed it. And should I deem otherwise... even his wretched evolution will not save him from obliteration."
He leaned forward as his voice dropped to a growl.
"Remember this: Darkseid does not lose. And when the time comes... Doomsday, like all who dare oppose me, shall kneel before Darkseid."
{Transformers Universe}
Space:
"So... the so-called Lord of Apokolips, wielder of the Omega Effect, defeated by a mindless beast? Interesting."
Unicron's vast, booming voice echoed like the grinding of dying stars, carrying an almost amused resonance as his burning optics narrowed at the screen, his immense planetary frame shifting in the void.
"To shrug off erasure itself... to defy the annihilation of reality. This Doomsday is not simply a creature... he is entropy given flesh, a reflection of my own hunger for destruction."
A low, rumbling laugh reverberated from his vast form as the stars flickered from the Chaos Bringer.
"Darkseid commands fear, the Justice League trembles before him, and yet this... beast defeated him. Even I must acknowledge such persistence. Perhaps one day, this Doomsday and I shall meet. And when that day comes... the multiverse will tremble at the clash of annihilation."
Then, his titanic maw curled into something resembling disdain, "But make no mistake... beast or god, all beings are beneath me. For I am Unicron... the Chaos Bringer."
{Marvel 616 Universe}
Space:
Galactus watched at the screen with interest as his immense form stirred at the destruction of Apocalypse and Darkseid's defeat.
"So... the Kryptonian abomination has slaughtered armies, extinguished the Green Lantern Corps and now has defeated Darkseid. Even enduring the Omega Effect..." His voice was a low rumble as he fell into silence for a moment, his vast intellect turning endlessly, weighing calculations beyond mortal measure.
"The Omega Effect is not mere energy. It is a force that erases not only flesh, but the very concept of the target from the fabric of reality. To withstand such a power is... troubling."
His gaze turned toward the holographic image of Doomsday crushing Darkseid beneath his might, "Darkseid is... formidable, yes. A tyrant whose will bends gods and mortals alike. For this creature to overcome him suggests that Doomsday is not merely strong. He is relentless."
The Devourer of Worlds leaned forward, his immense frame blotting out the stars as he continued, "Yet I sense something ... off in him. He is a mindless beast, a rampaging monster. Unlike myself, unlike Darkseid, he is destruction incarnate without end."
Galactus raised one titanic hand as fingers like continents curled slowly into a fist that could crush galaxies as the light of his eyes flared up.
"Such a being cannot be allowed to persist. Even I, who consume with necessity, do so with purpose. This... abomination consumes without reason."
His gaze pierced the holographic screen as he stated, "If Doomsday's path ever crosses mine... I shall unmake him. Not because I desire it. But because reality itself cannot suffer his existence."

["Regardless, Doomsday's adaptations had reached their peak, he was able to make short work of the Radiant that once defeated him, likewise decisively beat Superman but not defeating him again at least not in the same way." Wiz listed off his feats.]
["So how do they finally stop him?" Boomstick asked.]
["Doomsday was sent forward in time, to the end of time in fact with the final entropy of the universe proved too much and destroyed him..." Wiz revealed, "Or it would have if Brainiac didn't rescue him for his own purposes, comics man."]
["Yeah, no matter what happens Doomsday just won't go down." Boomsitck added.]
Milano:
Star-Lord nearly fumbled his Zune, his jaw hung open as the footage played out, "Hold up. They sent him to the end of time? And he STILL didn't stay dead?! Just what will it take to actually kill this motherflarken!"
Rocket's fur bristled, his tail lashing like a whip as he threw his paws in the air, "Time itself killed him! Flarkin' time! And Brainiac just happened to rescue him so that he could come back to life?! Nah, nope, I'm callin' it! This thing ain't alive! That's a damn perpetual murder machine!"
Gamora crossed her arms and spoke in a grim tone, "I've faced warlords, assassins, even my father... but this? A creature that evolves past death itself, one that even entropy couldn't kill? If he ever reached our galaxy... there would be no stopping him."
Drax furrowed his brow, his expression unusually thoughtful as he said, "So... he is like me. Except instead of being fueled by vengeance, he is fueled by endless death. I respect his persistence... but I would still crush him."
Mantis tilted her head as her antennae drooped slightly, "That poor creature... all he has ever known is pain... death... hatred. He doesn't even have a choice, it is who he is. It's... so sad."
Groot looked solemnly at the group before speaking in his deep, slow voice, "I am Groot."
Rocket let out a long, exasperated sigh as he pointed a clawed finger at him, "Yeah, buddy. You're right. If something like that ever made it here, we'd probably need, like... every Nova, every Celestial, and a miracle just to keep breathing."
Star-Lord forced a lopsided grin and said, "Okay, so... note to self: if we ever meet Doomsday, run. Like, REALLY fast. And maybe... hide behind Thor or something."
{Spiderman: Across the Spider-verse}
Spider Society:
Miles Morales leaned back so far in his chair that he almost toppled over as his eyes widened in disbelief, "Hold up, hold up, hold up. You're telling me this guy got sent to the end of time itself... and STILL didn't stay dead?! Nah, man, that's just cheating!"
Gwen Stacy crossed her arms, her brows furrowed as she tried to process it, "Yeah, and what's worse is that he doesn't have any weaknesses. Even death doesn't seem to stop him. If you can't kill something like that, how are we supposed to stop it?"
Peter B. Parker let out a long groan and rubbed his temples, "Man... and here I thought wrangling a toddler or stopping Kingpin's collider was stressful enough. But this?" He gestured at the screen with both hands, "This is like if every bad guy we've ever fought just fused into one giant, unstoppable rage monster."
Spider-Punk kicked his boots up onto the table as he shook his head with a scoff, "Bruv, that ain't evolution. That's comic nonsense! Still, if Brainiac wasn't able to rescue him, he'd be dead for sure."
Pavitr Prabhakar's jaw dropped as he waved his hands in disbelief,
"Wait-wait-wait... he survived the end of the universe?! Have you guys realized how absurd that is?! That's physically impossible! Just what in the multiverse did this Bertron guy do to him?!"
Miguel O'Hara stood with his arms folded, his expression hard as he spoke, "...You don't understand. Something like this... something that adapts infinitely, it's a threat that doesn't stop. If Doomsday ever broke into our dimensions..." His voice darkened as he continued, "...There would be no Spider-Society left to protect anything."
A heavy silence settled across the group as the weight of his words pressed down on them.
Finally, Spider-Ham nervously twirled a comically oversized mallet as he broke the tension, "...Soooo... anyone else suddenly really, really glad Doomsday isn't a cartoon? 'Cause if he did, I'd be bacon bits by now."
Baxter Building:
Reed Richards leaned forward in his chair, his fingers clasped tightly as his mind is already running simulations at light-speed, "Incredible... his adaptive capability transcends any natural or artificial evolutionary process I've ever encountered. To resist entropy itself... if such a creature were to ever cross into our reality, science alone wouldn't be enough. We'd need a form of containment that exists outside the laws of physics."
Sue Storm's face tightened, her arms folding across her chest as unease crept into her voice, "Containment? Reed, you just saw what happens when anyone tries to contain him. He just comes back stronger. If even the end of time couldn't stop him... what chance does anyone else have? He's not just a threat to a planet or a galaxy. He's a threat to everything that exists."
Johnny Storm let out a low whistle as he shook his head, "Man... and here I was thinking Galactus was the ultimate big bad. At least you can see him coming. But this guy? Doomsday makes Big G look like a Saturday morning villain in comparison. And Brainiac saving him? Since when did he even know Doomsday was at the end of time?"
Ben Grimm curled his rocky fists as he mumbled, "Ya gotta be kiddin' me. So ya can't clobber 'im, can't burn 'im, can't trap 'im, can't even time-dump the guy without him crawlin' back for more. I don't like those odds, Stretch. Not one bit."
Reed was still deep in thought as he muttered aloud, "...No. There's something we're missing. Every creature has a flaw. Even this one. He adapts to survive, to endure whatever faces him. But what if that instinct... could be turned against him? What if forcing him to endure endless, contradictory adaptations, an overload of survival responses collapsed his existence inward?"
Johnny blinked at him then smirked in disbelief, "Cool, so your genius plan is what... confuse him to death? Sounds real solid, Reed."
Sue shot Johnny a glare, "If Reed's right, it might be the only way. Doomsday doesn't need to be overpowered, he needs to be outsmarted. His strength is his adaptability... so his weakness has to come from the same place."
"Yeah, well, while Stretch here is busy thinkin' up twelve-step plans, I'll still be the poor sap standin' in front, tryin' not to get punched into next week. Hope ya got a backup plan for that too." Ben folded his arms and grumbled.
Reed finally straightened his posture and said, "Then let's hope it never comes to that. Because if Doomsday truly exists beyond his reality... we'd be facing a doomsday in more than name."
["Even after being sent to the Phantom Zone, a dimension which compresses people onto a lower plane where they essentially live as just a thought, Doomsday was able to evolve and punch his way out." Wiz revealed as the screen shows the Phantom Zone break by Doomsday's fist.]
["HE PUNCHED HIS WAY OUT OF A DIMENSION! WHILE HE WAS A DISEMBODIED THOUGHT!!! AND HE REGENERATED FROM THAT STATE!! WHAT?!!" Boomstick shouted in shock.]
Everyone in the Omniverse gasped in horror. The thought of Doomsday breaking out of a dimension was not only mind-boggling but also terrifying. If he can break out of a dimension while he was nothing more than a thought, then he could also break into their universe, that alone sent them into a frenzy as they knew that if Doomsday was in their universe, they wouldn't stand a chance against him.
Latveria: Castle Doom:
Dr Doom leaned forward in his throne, his metal fingers curled tightly as the gleam of his mask reflected the flickering light of the screen. The room around him was silent, save for the faint hum of hidden machinery and the low crackle of arcane energies coursing through the air.
"Impossible..." He hissed, though his voice carried the weight of reluctant acknowledgment, "...and yet, I see it before me. To return from a state of pure thought,... such a feat defies the natural order itself. Not even the greatest minds of this universe... nor the brightest intellects across the multiverse... could have conceived of such blasphemous ingenuity."
"To evolve while stripped of flesh and form and cheat death... His adaptability fascinates me. If such an ability were mine to command, Doom would not simply rule this Earth no, Doom would bend all of creation to his indomitable will." His voice deepened, resonating with both awe and indignation.
A crackle of energy arced across his gauntlets as his hands clenched tightly as the surge of both envy and fury radiated from his armored frame. His eyes burned with a rare mixture of hunger and disdain.
"Make no mistake... Doom does not have rivals. Nor does Doom acknowledge equals. Doomsday may be a beast, a mindless juggernaut, but his very existence is an affront to my supremacy. Were fate so unwise as to set him in my path..." His voice deepened as he continued, "...I would sooner tear asunder the foundations of reality itself than allow such a wretched abomination to surpass me!"
His fist struck the armrest of his throne with a resounding clang and declared, "Let the multiverse tremble at this so-called 'Doomsday'. But let it be known... there is only one Doom."
{SCP Universe}
Dr. Bright threw his hands into the air, his voice cracking in sheer disbelief, "HE PUNCHED HIS WAY OUT OF BEING A THOUGHT?! You've gotta be kidding me! Even SCP-682 doesn't pull crap like that... okay maybe. But not like this!!"
Dr. Clef leaned back in his chair, smoke curling lazily from the half-burnt cigarette dangling from his lips. His eyes looked at the screen as his expression caught somewhere between grim amusement and genuine unease, "...So. He escaped a pocket dimension while reduced to pure consciousness... and then regenerated a body from that state. Hah. And here I thought SCP-682 was the pinnacle of 'unkillable bastard.' Put him on the Keter list, burn the file, and pray he never comes to our Earth."
"Yeah, great idea." Dr. Kondraki muttered dryly, pinching the bridge of his nose and adjusting his glasses, "Let's just add that to our containment roster. What's next, singing demons?"
"Logically speaking, a creature capable of evolving past metaphysical states implies that no existing containment strategy is viable. Probability of long-term neutralization: 0%. Risk classification: Apollyon." Dr. Gears remained utterly composed as he said in a grim tone.
"Wait... you're telling me that not even total disintegration, not even a reality anchor, not even cognitohazard erasure would work? He'd just... adapt past it? This is just SCP-682 all over again. No wonder Death Battle paired them against each other. They're basically two sides of the same coin." Dr. Iceberg's normally steady tone cracked, shaking his head in disbelief.
Around the chamber, researchers and armed security exchanged uneasy glances. Some muttered nervously under their breath while others argued in hushed voices about whether Earth could survive such a clash at all or if the two unkillable monsters would simply fight forever.
O5 Council Emergency Session Secure Teleconference:
The holographic chamber flickered to life, as twelve dark silhouettes arranged in a circle. These are the O5 Council, the leaders of the SCP Organisation
"So. This 'Doomsday.' An organism that adapts infinitely, resists termination at every conceivable level, and, according to this Death Battle, has escaped containment dimensions. Any Thoughts?" O5-3 spoke first.
"Thoughts? He punched his way out of a state of pure thought. He came back from being reduced to nothingness. Do you realize what that means? There is no kill-agent, no pocket dimension, no metaphysical vault that could hold him. He is by definition uncontainable." O5-7 let out a sharp exhale, her voice dripping with disbelief.
"Then we must not think in terms of containment. We must think in terms of survival. If this entity were ever to manifest in our reality, the probability of planetary extinction exceeds 99.9%" O5-2 interjected.
"Great.... another SCP-682 scenario. At least with 682 we can pretend we're keeping it locked up. With him? There's no cage that can ever contain that creature." O5-9 muttered in a bitter tone.
"Perhaps not, but that doesn't mean he can't be killed." O5-5 spoke next in a pragmatic tone, "We've faced extinction-level SCPs before. If it ever crossed over to our universe, we deploy counter-entities such as SCP-001 or we can pacify it using SCP-999, it worked on SCP-682, why not on it as well?"
"That's desperation and you know it! We all agreed to only use SCP-999 until it is absolutely necessary." O5-7 snapped.
"It's still more useful than just doing nothing." O5-5 fired back.
The council chamber erupted in overlapping voices as strategies, theories, threats, even the whispered suggestions of using Thaumiel-class SCPs were thrown out.
Finally, O5-1's voice thundered, "Enough."
The chamber fell silent once more, save for the low hum of holograms stabilizing.
"Regardless of whether it can be killed or contained, the fact remains that it is in another universe. As long as it stays there, we will not expend resources chasing it down. But..." His voice lowered as his projection looked to the side, "We would be fools not to prepare. Draft a full SCP classification file immediately. Its designation will be Keter for now, but if Doomsday breaches into our reality, we will be ready for it. Even though we are doing little more than delaying extinction."
The other O5's nodded grimly.
"Now then, to our second order of business... how do we deal with the potential information leak about our organisation being broadcast to the entire Omniverse?" O5-1 clasped his hands together, staring down at the rest of the O5's.

["Like?" Boomstick asked his coworker.]
["Like the terrifying Doomsday Virus, he can infect people with this virus while also putting them under his control." Wiz revealed as the screen shows the effects of the Doomsday Virus, "This mind control is so powerful, it's affected people like of course Superman who can resist entities capable of controlling the whole multiverse like Parallax."]
["Oh god, a whole army of these guys running around all laying waste to whatever, that sounds seriously metal." Boomstick commented.]
{Mass Effect Universe}
SSV Normandy SR-1:
Commander Shepard's jaw tightened as his eyes stayed fixed on the footage, "...A virus that doesn't just kill you... but turns you into that into another Doomsday. And worse? It puts you under his control. Perfect. Just what the galaxy needed."
Liara T'Soni's breath caught as her usually calm composure cracked, her sapphire eyes widening in disbelief, "Even Superman... someone whose will is fortified enough to resist gods and entities spanning the multiverse... Even he was infected. Shepard, if someone like him can be infected, then no one in our galaxy, Protheans, Asari, even the Reapers themselves would stand a chance."
Garrus Vakarian's mandibles twitched uneasily as he polished the scope of his rifle, "Great. Just great. I thought Reaper indoctrination was bad enough. But this?" He gestured at the screen with a grimace, "Now picture an army of those things shrugging off entire fleets like they're made of paper. Hell, compared to this, the Reapers almost look tame."
Tali'Zorah's voice trembled through her helmet's speakers, her gloved hands gripping the edges of her visor as if she could shield herself from the thought, "Keelah se'lai... A virus that twists you into a monster and then chains your mind to a hive you can't escape. If that ever spreads on the Migrant Fleet, it will be catastrophic."
"Analysis: The Doomsday Virus represents a synthesis of biological corruption and psionic override. Its demonstrated capacity to subvert individuals with multiversal-level resistance suggests that neither organic physiology nor synthetic architecture would provide immunity. All available resistance strategies... would be futile." EDI's voice said with unease, an emotion she wasn't designed to have, yet somehow did.
"Heh. An army of those things rampaging across the stars? The Krogan Rebellions would look like a joke. Even a warlord leading a thousand battle-hardened clans wouldn't stand a chance." Wrex's low growl rumbled through the deck as his claws flexed in frustration.
Jeff "Joker" Moreau leaned back in his chair, letting out a nervous, shaky laugh, "Yeah, okay. So, Reapers, Collectors, giant human-Reaper hybrids, and now Doomsday zombies? Sure. Why not? At this point, I'm half-expecting the galaxy to just spawn sentient robots."
The room fell quiet again as the thought of the Doomsday Virus pressed down on them aboard the Normandy. Shepard didn't flinch and didn't look away from the nightmare playing out on the screen, "...If the Doomsday Virus ever crosses into our universe, there won't be time for divisions, politics, or grudges. Every species, every fleet, every soldier has to unite under one banner. And even then..." He exhaled sharply, "...Even then, it might not be enough. Because this isn't a war that even we can win."
{Devil May Cry Universe}
Dante let out a low whistle as the footage of Superman succumbing to the Doomsday virus flickered on the screen, "...So lemme get this straight. Not only is this guy an unkillable tank, but now he's contagious too? Great. Just what the world needs, a Doomsday zombie apocalypse."
He spun Ebony on his finger like a gunslinger, smirking despite the grim scene, "An army of Doomsdays? Yeah, sure, that sounds metal as hell. But honestly? Ain't no way we would be able to take down an entire army of 'em... right, Vergil?"
Vergil stood nearby, his face a cold mask of disdain as he said, "A disease that strips away their will, pride, and identity... To reduce even the mightiest warrior to nothing more than a puppet of destruction... That, Dante, is fate worse than death."
His eyes narrowed as they lingered on the grotesque sight of the infected Superman, "If even a being who defies multiversal gods can be infected so easily, then there is but one course of action. Utter eradication."
Dante raised a brow, grinning as if amused by his brother's rigid outlook, "C'mon, Vergil, admit it. You're at least a little impressed. A virus nasty enough to turn Superman into a mindless brawler? That's nuts."
Vergil's gaze sharpened as he glared at him, "Impressed? No. Disgusted? Absolutely. Power without control is meaningless. An army of mindless beasts may ravage worlds, but they are not warriors. They are just cattle with no sense of self other than the urge to destroy everything."
Dante let out a chuckle, rolling his shoulders as he unsheathed Rebellion, resting it casually across his shoulders, "Yeah, well, cattle or not, you know how this goes. You and me... we'd still carve right through 'em. One Doomsday, ten Doomsdays, a hundred... doesn't matter. Just means more target practice."
He shifted into a loose stance, with a mischievous glint in his eye, "Besides, you can't tell me it wouldn't be fun."
Vergil's response was drawing Yamato and said, "Foolishness. You mistake futility for entertainment. Still..." His blade gleamed ominously in the flickering light as he leveled his gaze forward, "...if such a plague ever threatened our world, we would have no choice but to cut it down without hesitation."
{Rick and Morty Universe}
Smith House:
Jerry's eyes bulged out, his hands trembling as sweat poured down his forehead, "W-Wait, WAIT! Time out! You're telling me there's a virus that can... can turn Superman into a Doomsday zombie under somebody ELSE'S control?! That's... that's horrifying! What if it spreads here?! What if...!"
Summer let out a long, exaggerated groan, sipping her soda like she'd been through this a million times, "God, Dad, relax. Newsflash: if an army of Doomsday zombies shows up, we're toast no matter what we do. Freaking out about it isn't gonna magically turn you into Superman."
Beth's brows furrowed as her mind pieced together the implications, "So let me get this straight: this virus bypasses every natural immunity, overrides even multiversal-level psychic defenses, and enslaves entire populations as living weapons? Great. You know what's comforting? Even my dad never went that far. At least he didn't start the apocalypse."
Morty's voice cracked as he flailed his arms in panic, his breathing growing erratic as he yelled, "O-Oh god, oh jeez, ohhh my god! H-He infected Superman! SUPERMAN! Like, if Superman can't resist it, then what chance do we have?! We'd all be spiky bone-monsters in, like, five minutes! Five minutes, Summer! Five freakin' minutes!!"
Morty clutched his head in despair, silently swearing never to mention what happened in his original universe.
"Honestly, Morty? You'd probably look better with the spikes. At least you'd finally have, like, a jawline. And maybe biceps for once." Summer smirked at him, her tone dripping with mockery.
"S-Shut up, Summer!!" Morty squeaked, his voice cracking like glass.
Beth glared at both of them, "Enough! Both of you! This isn't funny. That's a world-ending plague we're talking about. The second it shows up, all of civilization collapses overnight."
"O-Okay, b-but think about it... maybe it's not that bad? Like, if we all get infected, at least we're not technically dead, right? We'd still be... alive? Kind of? Maybe?" Jerry peeked out from behind Beth's shoulder with a squeaky voice.
"Wow, dad." Summer muttered, rolling her eyes, "Spoken like a true Doomsday henchman. Congrats, Dad, you've officially leveled up to cannon fodder."
Jerry's lips trembled as if he were about to cry.
Just then, Rick stumbled into the room, his flask in one hand and a burp already bubbling out of his mouth. He squinted at the footage and snorted, "Pfft. Amateurs. You're all missing the point. This isn't 'evolution,' it's just a biological hack job. A virus that hijacks Superman's free will? Big whoop. Seen it, built it, got bored of it."
Beth's head snapped toward him and asked, "Wait... WAIT. You BUILT something like this?!"
Rick shrugged, "Relax, Beth. Mine only worked on Cronenbergs and Jerrys. Totally different thing."
"HEY!!" Jerry yelped from the corner, "Why is it always me?!"
Rick ignored him completely, taking a swig before pointing lazily at the screen, "But I'll give credit where credit's due. This Doomsday virus? That's some scary-ass shit right there. Whole army of Doomsdays ripping through the multiverse? That's at least an 8 out of 10 on the 'Rick Sanchez Oh-Shit-o-Meter.'"
He burped mid-sentence then added, "...Still, I'd whip up a cure in, like, thirty minutes tops."
"Y-Yeah, until you get bored, and then you... you'd just release it for fun! Don't even pretend you wouldn't!" Morty jabbed a shaky finger at him.
"Morty, if I wanted an army of Doomsdays, I wouldn't waste my time screwing around with some half-assed virus. I'd just..." Rick rolled his eyes then smirked cruelly, "...I dunno, clone your dad a billion times and launch 'em at the enemy It's basically the same outcome."
"WHY ME?!" Jerry screamed, throwing his arms up as everyone else ignored him.
["Doomsday will always adapt to whatever you threw at him, he'll never die, and he'll be constantly evolving to beat you and anyone else out there." Wiz warned the audience.]
["When you're throwing hands with guys who can punch you across all of space time and kickstart new Big Bangs, you know you're the shit, when you're beating them? Well that just speaks for itself." Boomstick shrugged.]
["Way back then, Bertron tried to create the ultimate lifeform, but unfortunately for humanity, he succeeded." Wiz said in a defeated tone.]
["You can't run and you can't hide, no matter what stands in your way, Doomsday will always come back and he'll always come for you." Boomstick finished.]
["Release me." Doomsday spoke up as his massive frame strained against the reinforced metal bindings encasing his limbs.]
["And you'll solve both our problems?" Dr. Milo asked him.]
["Yes."]
[Milo's lips curled into a greedy smile. Against every instinct screaming in the back of his mind, he rushed to the control terminal. His hands danced across the keys, entering override after override until the console beeped.]
[The restraints fell away, one by one, crashing against the steel floor as Doomsday slowly drew himself upright and he began to walk towards Dr. Milo.]
["What are you..." Dr. Milo said in fear as he stumbled back.]
["Your problem solved." Doomsday answered as he reached out with his left hand as the screams of Dr. Milo can be heard.]
There was silence in the Omniverse as unlike the previous where they cheered for the contestants in this Death Battle, they only watched with fear as they severely underestimated just how dangerous Doomsday. Not only can it adapt to anything they threw at it but it also can't die, whether in the fantasy, sci-fi, anime, cartoon universe they all know if Doomsday shows up in their universe, they are screwed.
And the fact that it killed Superman makes him the strongest Death Battle combatant ever known.
Despite the already terrifying odds and votes that Doomsday was gonna win, some can't help but wonder what SCP-682 would do to stop against the Kryptonian Juggernaut.
["Secure, Contain and Protect. These words are the motto of the ever enigmatic SCP Foundation." Wiz said as the screen shows the logo of the SCP Foundation]
["These guys are basically the Men In Black on steroids, a shadowy organisation dedicated to tracking and locking down anomalies, they are dedicated to tracking and locking down anomalies and mysteries." Boomstick explained.]
Popup: As the SCP Foundation lacks a singular "Main" canon, a general composite of multiple illiterations will be used here.
["They dedicated their being to safeguarding humanity, keeping any and all anomalies away from prying eyes. From the supernatural and scientific to the friendly and the fatal, they'll do whatever they can to figure it out, they die in the dark so you can live in the light." Wiz explained as the screen shows the various SCPS.]
The entire Omniverse was in awe as they had never seen these creatures before, one looked like a giant peanut, one a plague doctor, a theatre mask, a computer with a black and white face, and so much more.
They are curious as to know how the SCP Foundation managed to do all of this, they must have a ton of resources and money to pull this off without attracting suspicion.
For the citizens living in the SCP Universe however, they couldn't help but feel suspicious as they swore they saw some of these creatures before but now they are wondering just what the is SCP Foundation and what their true goals really are.
{DC Universe}
Watchtower:
Batman's eyes narrowed like a hawk, his cape draped around him as he leaned forward, his fingers brushing against his chin in thought, "...A clandestine organization dedicated to securing and containing anomalies from the shadows. If what they're saying is even remotely accurate, the sheer scale of their operation would require astronomical resources."
Flash blinked rapidly, his usual grin nowhere to be seen as unease settled in, "Wait, wait, wait. They just... grab anything that's a little anomalous? People, creatures, maybe even us if they think we're anomalies? Uh, hard pass! I don't like the idea of being stuffed in some underground cell just for existing."
Cyborg's cybernetic eye flickered as he tapped into his systems, "Their resources must be insane, the tech, containment protocols, entire facilities across the planet without anyone noticing. The logistics alone are on a scale that rivals S.T.A.R. Labs or even Luthor. I don't know whether to be impressed... or worried."
Aquaman slammed his trident into the ground with a metallic clang as his voice rumbled with disdain, "So what happens if they decide Atlantis itself is an 'anomaly'? Or the ocean's creatures? Or anyone who doesn't fit their neat little definition of normal?"
Superman's jaw tightened, his cape shifting as he folded his arms, "To die in the dark so others can live in the light... Noble words, but at what cost? Hiding the truth from people, keeping living people under lock and key... that's just wrong."
Wonder Woman's eyes narrowed, her arms crossing firmly over her chest as her tone sharpened, "Something tells me that they are not what they say they are. I think I can sense that they used some... underhanded means to protect humanity."
"I sense a philosophy born of fear. They do not seek to understand these anomalies, only to cage them. Fear is a powerful motivator, but it also blinds them. If left unchecked, this SCP Foundation could become the very monster it claims to fight against." Martian Manhunter said in a somber tone.
{Men in Black Universe}
Men in Black HQ:
Agent J's jaw nearly hit the floor as he jabbed a finger at the screen, "Hold up, hold up... did he just call them us on steroids?! Man, I don't even like the sound of that! We've already got our hands full keepin' Earth from looking like a galactic zoo, now there's a bunch of creepypasta boogeymen running around?"
"...If half of this is true, then the Foundation makes our work look... merciful." Agent K stared at the screen with a neutral expression.
Agent O leaned forward, her piercing eyes narrowing as the screen shows the various SCPs, "The difference is methodology, while we monitor extraterrestrial integration and neutralize hostile threats only when necessary. But The SCP Foundation? They lock everything away regardless if it's sentient, sapient, hostile or harmless."
Agent J let out a shaky laugh, though it didn't quite hide his nerves, "Yeah, but you gotta admit, they got the branding down. 'Secure, Contain, Protect'? That's got a nice ring to it. We're just some dudes in black suits with three letters."
"It's not about the slogan, Slick. It's about results. And if these people are really doing what it looks like... They're a variable we can't predict. And nobody should have that much unchecked power." Agent K said in a deadpanned tone.
"And if they really do 'die in the dark so others live in the light'? Then one day, should our paths cross, we'll see if they're protectors... or something else entirely." Agent O said in a firm, decisive tone.
"Great. First aliens, then interdimensional gods, now SCPs. Man, I swear, retirement is sounding better every day..." Agent J dragged a hand down his face with a groan.
"...Retirement isn't an option, J. Not when there are people like them out there." Agent K adjusted his glasses, his eyes never leaving the screen.
"Yeah, figures. Can't even get extra pay for this nonsense..." Agent J muttered under his breath.
