Chapter 6 - 6 To make a cult

I make my way to the mission desk. Well, it's more the board beside it. Looking at the posted missions, I can't help but sigh.

'A day of interaction can cause people to become obsessed. Then I'll stay here and talk to everyone who gets a mission.'

*5 hours later.*

I may have underestimated what effect charisma would have on my hopeful aura. I look at the massive crowd of people wanting to get as close as possible to me.

"Stop!" I yell, causing the crowd to freeze. "Now sit!" The whole crowd sits down immediately. I just sigh in relief.

I look at the person directly in front of me. A young woman by the name of Trish. "You, can you tell me why I'm being crowded?"

'I know why I just want to see how many agree with her words.' I think as she looks down embarrassed. "Uhm i-i just wanted t-to be as close t-to you as possible."

I watch as the whole crowd nods at her words. 'Charisma is strong with this perk.' I then shift in place slightly. 'Might as well just ask.' "Are you guys completely willing to follow my orders?" They just nod with the happiest smiles I've ever seen. "Okay guys your job is to bring anyone in the settlement not here to talk to me. Don't be violent about it. Tina, will, Connie I don't know where you are in this crowd but you three are to stay with me.'

I watch as the whole crowds head snapping in jealousy towards the three. 'Wow that's kinda unsettled.' The crowd then disperses. The three approach me.

"Are you three okay?" Tina nods happily. While Connie looks away with a slightly red face. "Yea we're fine." Will sais while scratching his cheek.

A steady stream of people. Walk towards me over the day. By the end of the day I had interacted with litteraly everyone in the settlement. The whole settlement is now crowded around me.

'So I've got their friendship like best friend. But it needs to be obsession.' "Everyone I'll be sleeping in the community rest tent tonight, why don't you join me?"

As I walk that direction the crowd parts for me and follows behind me. I get into the tent and lay in the middle of the padded floor. As people stream in immediately wanting to sleep on top of me and such.

I turn away the men and let the women do so. Of course I don't want any thoughts like will and Connie had, I'm not gay. I look at Tina who's again resting in between my legs using my right thigh as a pillow.

'As long as they're comfy.' With that thought I soon fall asleep. As my aura settles into everyone in the settlement through the night.

I wake up to to a message board from the system.

(Please note that settlers do not get your Stat bonuses as that is from skills)

'One of them is Vitality as I don't want them to die as for the other one I'll share dex. Don't get hit and don't go down. Plus if they need to fight they should be using a weapon anyway.'

Suddenly a lot of people start twitching in there sleep. I can hear bones crack and what sounds like flesh tearing all around me. I see an old woman near who is in her sixties now looks like she's in her 20s. 'Holy shit I didn't expect that to happen. Well it makes sense none of these people have Gamers body. They are actual flesh and blood.'

I look around and see everyone has a blissful smile on there face in there sleep. 'Okay good it wasn't painful... this looks a bit creepy.' I clear my throat. "It's time to wake up." I don't even yell it but everyone opens there eyes. Some just slowly open their eyes. some jolt up into a sitting position.

Then there are gasps of amazement and happiness all around. As the old and injured touch there own body in amazement. I just smile at them. "Okay everyone I'm sure you want to know what happened."

I watch in fondness? As they all look at me in adoration. "I shared some of my strength with you. Mainly my Vitality and speed." I furrow my brow in confusion as they look at me in horror.

I then get 200+ yelling at me to take it back and that I need it more than them. I just raise a hand and get them to quiet down. I can't help but laugh a bit. "I said share not give. I lost nothing and you all gained. I'm not any slower or more frail from it." As I get my words out I see many start to tear up in happiness crying out their thanks. Some even bow while doing it.

'Why are they reacting so strongly?' I think as my eyes start to water involuntarily. "Please stop crying everyone. You'll make me cry." The people closest to me launch themselves at me and hug me. Still crying and constantly saying thank you. 'Damn it.' I think as a tear falls down my face.
