It was true, the qubit tattoo was one that completely changed nearly everything about a person, it didn't matter what ability you had, it affected it and facilitated mastery of it.. that is why he wasnt going mental from all the voices in his mind. however it also makes you hyper logical, human nature instantly starts seeming imperfect.
That fact alone opens a whole can of worms that no one wants to deal with as it completely starts to stifle your emotions until you are no different from a robot… however by writing, he had begun to appreciate human nature for what it was. Its imperfection was what made it perfect… rather than being efficient he remained the same.
A result that was born because he had hyper focused on creating the Warhammer comics, turns out that it didn't matter how much brain power you had, writing or just composing a story in general was difficult.
if you want to create great characters, you need to understand emotions and human characterisation if not, you are going nowhere. It was for this very reason that despite everything he had yet to actually complete the first issue of any of the series he had intended to create.
"Then how did you remain normal? I never saw you writing any story… no wait, don't answer that" Grace said as Leon chuckled
"Dont overthink it, getting a good idea you are proud of isn't easy and even when you do, you would still have to optimize your plot to not just feel organic.. that part is easy for us but also make it authentic… that part is not easy for us" David said as he approached her.
Now that he talked, he realised how much pride he actually took in creating the qubit tattoo. it was the ultimate game changer for anyone who had it, it was a useless pride to have considering he didnt exactly come up with the original concept, he just copied from his past life.
"What about you, isnt your telepathy affecting you" Grace asked
"After yesterday, i am used to it, you can tell how it is exactly in my mind now right" Leon replied
"Now go freshen up, lets go get breakfast"
"Whats the time?" Grace asked as he stood up front he bed finally
"11:30, wow thats late" David said surprised
The tattoo must have really taken a lot from him and he wasn't really seeing any effect on Grace which was technically a good thing after all the Sigil wasn't made for visible effects.
Through the ring which allowed them to share powers, he could feel a much stronger calm than usual so he assumed that was the effect of the tattoo and didn't think much of it again..
"Okay then I'll be seeing you soon"
"Wait, did your father come back safe yesterday… you know I feel asleep" Leon asked
"He did, I'll be back" she replied before closing the door as she left.
Leon merely chuckled before focusing on his own activity, first replying the messages on the forum as he tidied the room up.
