As Lilith's fingers twitched, I stiffened, watching her closely.
Slowly, her eyes fluttered open, and her crimson orbs flickered to each of us in the room.
She exhaled shakily, her fingers clenching the sheets beneath her.
Mira instinctively reached for the damp cloth she had been using earlier, but she stopped her before she could reach her.
"I heard everything you said till now." Her low yet steady voice echoed in the room.
Silence fell over the room.
Mira's hand froze in the mid-air before she slowly lowered it down.
Lilith pushed herself up slightly, her movements sluggish but steady.
She turned her gaze to me, studying me intently. "Tell me…" she began, her voice hoarse but sharp.
"Did Damien really say that I was dangerous?"
I hesitated when Kira stated while folding her hands, her eyes scrutinizing the figure sitting in front of her, "He… he locked you away. We all know that Alpha forbade anyone from seeing you."
