Chapter 65: Draconic Deus
Harry woke up with a small smile and looked beside him, where Rias lay, completely naked. They hadn't had sex; she just liked sleeping without any kind of clothing on her body. After chatting with Rias, he felt better about what happened in his world before he came here.
He slowly and carefully got out of bed; he didn't want to wake Rias, not when it was still five in the morning and he had a little time left before she left for Kuoh Academy.
He decided to make breakfast in the meantime.
When he was finished, Harry sat sipping a cup of coffee while watching the sun slowly rise out the window. Harry then looked at his phone when he saw the calculator a third time.
He grimaced at the number on the result...
121.666666667.
In the end, he just sighed and decided to see how many points he had left of his 50,000 earned earlier. He'd spent 10,000 chat points modifying his world's time. And then he'd used another 5,000 chat points to purchase something called the Saber's Truth. This was different from Rias's Spear Mastery. The latter gave Rias the ability to wield a spear like a master; the purchase had given her the ways to use a spear, as well as the necessary muscle memory. The Saber's Truth, on the other hand, gave him knowledge; words that contained the saber's truth and intent so he could train and create his own moves without losing the essentials.
So, Harry had 35,000 chat points left.
"What are you doing?" Rias asked curiously. She was already dressed and clean, and was walking over to the table before sitting down and starting to eat the breakfast Harry had prepared.
"I'm looking at the shop... just out of curiosity. Even though we've checked it out, it seems endless and is updated every so often," Harry replied before taking another sip of his coffee.
"So... what are you planning on doing today?" Rias asked, knowing it would be awkward for her to attend Kuoh Academy. Harry had graduated from Hogwarts and was even a college headmaster. And if it wasn't the same as a mundane academy, it would still be awkward and annoying to return to normal classes.
"I was thinking of walking around the city a bit; doing some sightseeing. Then, in the afternoon, introduce myself to your peerage."
"Mm... That's great! But you have to be careful with Akeno!"
"Akeno? If I remember correctly, she's your queen."
"Yes... she has a playful and, on occasion, annoying personality. She might not hesitate to flirt with you to annoy me," Rias said with a small pout.
"Then I'll do that... I'll be careful," Harry chuckled lightly at Rias's pout.
"Ah... I forgot! Tomorrow is the meeting of the three factions!" Rias said, a little surprised at forgetting such a thing.
"Meeting of the three factions?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes. Tomorrow, the three faction leaders that make up the Judeo-Christian religion will meet regarding the matter involving Kokabiel. My brother and Serafall Leviathan, Azazel of Grigori, and Michael of Heaven."
"Hmm... Can I attend? I'm curious to see an angel and a fallen angel."
Rias shrugged. "Sure, you can come."
"By the way... How's it going... with your divinity?"
"Same..." Rias shook her head. "He's making small steps every day, but I don't think it'll happen for at least two or three months."
"I see..."
"I'll head out first," Rias stood up and approached Harry, giving him a kiss on the lips before leaving the house.
"Take care!"
"I know, but you too!" Rias exclaimed with a happy giggle. Being dismissed like this was comforting to Rias.
Harry moved to the room that was now his and Rias's. He knelt down and opened his trunk, from which an annoyed Hedwig popped out. The trunk had a charm that made it bigger and had a house inside, so it wasn't difficult for Hedwig to live in it, but the bird was annoyed at being locked up.
"Child, you can tour the city so you can familiarize yourself with the place. We'll see each other again tonight," Hedwig just nodded before flying off.
With that done, Harry began to change; deciding to wear the clothes he liked best, a completely black suit with his invisibility cloak draped over his shoulders. Only after getting ready did he leave the house to go sightseeing, or rather, see Kuoh City, because nothing should be open this early. Well, maybe the 24/7 stores are open.
. . .
"Hee~... so this is Kuoh Academy," Harry looked at the academy from the entrance. "It's quite large."
Harry decided to enter. It was already three in the afternoon, when the students should be doing all sorts of club activities. So it was a good time to see Rias and her peerage. But, as he was entering, a voice stopped him.
"Please wait there!" Harry turned around, seeing a girl with glasses standing right in the entrance. Honestly, Harry had seen her, but ignored her. Beside the girl, there was another, taller girl, also with glasses, but with long, straight, black hair. Harry was a little surprised to see her eyes on this girl; her left eye was purple and her right eye was light brown.
"Could you tell me your reason for visiting the academy?"
"Sure, but... won't you introduce yourself?" Harry asked after a brief period of silence. She didn't like not knowing who she was talking to.
The girl was slightly surprised, but nodded.
"My name is Sona Shitori, the student council president. Next to me is Shinra Tsubaki, the vice president."
Harry nodded and smiled slightly. "My name is Henry Potter, and I'm currently here to visit Rias. You should be her friend, right?"
Harry leaned a little closer and whispered, "Sona Shitori?"
Sona was surprised by this and adjusted her glasses, causing a small glimmer.
"Yes... yes... I am. I didn't think Rias would have any acquaintances outside of Japan."
Harry just closed his eyes with a friendly smile. "Can I come in now, Shitori-san?"
"You may," Sona nodded.
"Thank you..." Harry nodded one last time before walking toward the old academy building.
Sona stared at Harry's back curiously. He was clearly human, but he felt powerful. She couldn't sense an aura like the ones people with some kind of power usually generated. Harry just seemed normal, but there was a strange feeling around him that made him seem mysterious and powerful.
"Did you notice his eyes, Sona?"
"Hmm, did you notice anything?"
"No... it was just the first time I'd seen such bright green eyes."
Sona blinked before realizing it; it was true, he did have impressive eyes, that's what she thought.
. . .
*Knock knock*
"Come in!" Rias exclaimed upon hearing a knock on the door. She looked up as she saw Harry walk in and smile at her.
"Hello..."
"Harry!" Rias smiled before coughing as she saw she was catching the attention of the rest of the group.
"Guys, this is Henry Potter, my boyfriend."
"Harry... they're part of my beloved family," Rias pointed with her hand as she introduced them: "Toujo Koneko, Himejima Akeno, Hyoudou Issei, Kiba Yuuto, Asia Argento, Gasper Vladi, and Xenovia Quarta."
"Hello everyone, my name is Henry Potter," Harry greeted everyone with a small bow.
"Hey! So Rias Buchou has a boyfriend!" Issei exclaimed in surprise and looked at Harry before nodding and raising his hand with a smile, waving them in a friendly manner.
"Ara ara~... so you're Henry-kun," Akeno greeted him, and Harry realized why Rias had asked him to be careful around her. In Harry's opinion, she was one of the most beautiful girls he'd ever seen. She also had a seductive aura about her.
"Nice to meet you," Asia bowed to Harry, maintaining a friendly smile.
"Hello..." Koneko said only that.
"Are you from England?" Xenovia asked curiously. "Though your name is similar to the character in those books."
"Hey, that's right..." Issei pointed at Xenovia.
"You can just call me Harry... though, yes, you're right; my name is almost the same," Harry replied, hiding the grimace that wanted to appear on his face. He had almost forgotten those books were in this world.
"And yes... I'm also from England."
"By any chance, is Henry-san a swordsman?" Kiba asked curiously. "You have the feeling of one."
"Actually, I use a saber. Although, I'm also good at close combat and magic."
"Can we fight?" Xenovia stood up a little excitedly.
Harry gave her an apologetic smile. "Sorry, but no. My way with a saber is different from a swordsman. I only draw my saber when I have to kill something or just for training."
"Can I sit down, by the way?"
"Sure..." Rias smiled, and Harry sat next to Kiba.
"May I know your reason for using your saber only for killing?" Kiba asked. He was curious, as was Xenovia. To him, Harry seemed friendly and someone easy to talk to and be friends with.
"Well... a sword is different from a saber; no matter how similar their shapes are and how they're meant to cut. A sword is generally agile, elegant, and mutable; however, a saber is different; agility and mutable aren't qualities of a saber; the saber's shape is to be an absolute authority alongside its edge."
"When you use a saber and want to be a master, you must have strong dispelling power; decisive when killing. In the end, the core of the saber is to kill."
"But no matter if you're a sword or saber user, you need to understand your weapon to reach higher levels."
"It's the same with magic; no matter how hard you try, if you don't understand it, you won't be able to cast it, right?"
"Ah... you're right," Kiba smiled, having learned something new.
After that little chat, everyone began to chat more relaxedly as they got to know Harry.
Harry discovered that Koneko could be dangerous if you took something sweet from her. And that Akeno could really be dangerous... in many ways.
Ise was funny to Harry, especially because of his exaggerated reactions.
Asia was kind, Kiba was friendly and caring, Gasper was too shy, and Xenovia could be a bit of an airhead from time to time.
