In the mountains extremely far from Mount Paozu, there sat a castle brimming with technology. The castle's owner, Emperor Pilaf, was currently resting. The number of strong individuals on Earth was increasing. The alien spaceship that had descended during the day, and the humanoid figure that had chased after it, had frightened Emperor Pilaf badly. Flying out of the atmosphere without the aid of any equipment—was that really an Earthling?
He could only indulge in fantasies of becoming the king of the world in his dreams now.
His two subordinates, Shu and Mai, were very honest. Pilaf had ordered them to keep watch, so the two of them were using technological equipment to scout various parts of the world, especially the situation regarding Son Goku's family.
Shu, who possessed a dog's head and was dressed as a ninja, used a spy satellite to detect the scene of Ino unleashing Wood Release to create a house.
This fellow Shu wasn't a kobold from Western fantasy; on Earth, he was classified as an animal-type Earthling. He played back the footage of Ino's Wood Release repeatedly, simply wanting to see the process of the ninjutsu release clearly.

He contacted a netizen named "Sergeant Purple"—he didn't know if it was the one from the Red Ribbon Army. Anyway, the Red Ribbon Army had been destroyed for many years, so it didn't really matter. Shu only knew that the other party was a fanatical ninjutsu expert and should be able to answer his doubts.
"Sergeant Purple, are you there? I've mastered a ninjutsu, Clone Jutsu! It's not a sleight of hand, it's real ninjutsu!"
