Chapter 679 - Chapter 679: Two Families

It was the perfect time to bring out a Senzu Bean for Tonton to try.

Seeing the Senzu Bean in her hand, the disdain in Tonton's eyes could barely be concealed. This is the treasure you were talking about? A lousy bean?

"If you won't eat it, fine, I will." Ino feigned eating it. Even though Tonton's intellect was growing fast, it was still at the level of a child; it hurriedly fought her for it, jumping up and down in a tussle before finally swallowing the Senzu Bean triumphantly.

The first second was fine, but by the second, its belly suddenly ballooned up.

Tonton was terrified, its four hooves flailing wildly.

Ino patted its head. "Don't worry, it's a Senzu Bean. It won't hurt you; it'll just keep you from being hungry for ten days."

Little Himawari poked Tonton's distended belly, tilting her small head to look at her "mount," not quite understanding how this change had happened.

Tonton's digestive system was indeed excellent, or perhaps pigs just had a racial talent in this area. Humans could easily die from overeating, but pigs? It wasn't impossible, just very difficult.

While teasing Tonton and her daughter, Ino took out a piece of shrimp meat to feed Hinata.

"Come, have a taste. Doesn't this giant lobster smell incredibly fragrant? No seasoning was added during cooking; the ingredients over there are naturally delicious, super tasty!"

As the piece of shrimp meat went down, Hinata's stomach let out a reflex-like rumble. It had to be said, this shrimp meat was indeed fragrant, and most importantly, the energy within the ingredient was extremely rich.

"Go now? Should I change my clothes?"

"No need to change. They are all rustic mountain folk over there; they wouldn't understand even if your clothes were gorgeous. Hold my hand, Himawari hold tight to Mama. Tonton, watch the house, we're leaving first!"

Taking Hinata and little Himawari, they stepped onto the Crossing Moon Bridge. Pushing open the gate at the other end of the bridge, they returned to Mount Paozu.

"Ino's family members are all very beautiful. Wow, your eyes are so special... Quick, sit down, sit down. Dad, you and Goku move in a bit!" Chichi had the air of a hostess, immediately inviting Hinata to sit.

Someone like Ino, who was full of netherworld vibes, was often hard to judge in terms of personality and thoughts. Sometimes a casual glance from her felt cold, which was why Kami had been so wary of her initially.

Hinata was different; she looked like an honest person at first glance, especially holding a child. As the only two mothers on the scene, Chichi immediately felt a natural sense of closeness.

Ino had cast a language comprehension spell on both parties, so there were no communication barriers.

"Oh my, is this your daughter? What a beautiful little girl. Little girl, how old are you?"

Little Himawari held up one finger and said in a milky voice, "One year old."

Feeling that her answering like that was a bit impolite, Hinata hurriedly patted her little bottom. "Himawari, say hello to Auntie."

"Auntie." Little Himawari wasn't shy with strangers and greeted her generously, though she didn't quite understand the meaning of the word.

"What a good child. Gohan, come and say hello to Auntie and your little sister."

From birth until now, Son Gohan had never seen outsiders—not even Son Goku's partners like Krillin or Yamcha, let alone "aliens." His expression was a bit timid as he hugged his mother's leg tightly with both hands, his voice as thin as a mosquito's buzz as he called out, "Hello Auntie, hello Sister."

Actually, both sides felt the other were "aliens," but they looked about the same and had no barriers in language communication. In their minds, this "alien" concept was equated to people from the neighboring village or the neighboring mountain.

Son Goku was truly a fierce general, and he had an extremely simple way of treating guests. When guests came, how could he let them go hungry?

This time, without his wife's orders, he caught another crab from the lake. This crab was over five meters tall, and its pair of large pincers looked extremely imposing. But at this moment, it was merely an ingredient. It was worth mentioning that the crab legs were delicious...

The two families gathered together, eating and drinking happily.

Little Himawari had just started teething, so it was a bit difficult for her to gnaw on the crab and shrimp meat. Ino and Hinata chewed the meat into small pieces themselves and then fed it to the child.

Hinata had originally worried that the child's stomach couldn't absorb the food, but it turned out to be an unnecessary worry. The Otsutsuki clan was originally a cosmic race that roamed everywhere; she had never heard of an Otsutsuki dying of diarrhea because they couldn't acclimatize.

Laying down her worries, Hinata also began to eat in big mouthfuls.

Smelling the fragrance, she was starving too! Seeing Ino and Son Goku wolfing down something that looked like a pterosaur wing, she also picked up a small plate of roughly cut meat chunks and began to eat. Her movements looked small, but her actual speed was very fast!

Chichi surprisingly found that she was the one eating the least and the slowest among those present!

Hinata used to be able to eat a lot mainly because her taijutsu training was too intense, and she was always hungry. After marriage, the family had money, and no one restricted her, so she could eat freely. Ino also frequently engaged in some exchange of bodily fluids with her; relying on this subtle method to improve her body's foundation, she wasn't as hungry as she used to be.

Chichi and Hinata found they had a common language. The two mothers soon put down their tableware and chatted about their children's future.

In Chichi's words, fighting and saving the Earth were secondary. Studying and becoming a person useful to society was the most important thing!

Hinata felt deeply touched. "That is indeed true. Ino saved our world and defeated strong enemies. Now that the world is at peace, there is even more need for study. When we were young, we only needed to learn some basic ninjutsu, but there are too many things Himawari needs to learn when she grows up."

"Yes, exactly!"

The two mothers talked about the stories of their respective husbands' families. Chichi recounted what Son Goku was like as a child, and Hinata casually mentioned a few sentences about the history of Ino-Shika-Cho.

"Ino-Shika-Cho?" Hearing this term, Son Goku looked puzzled: "We have a guy called InoShikaCho over here too. It's a pig with deer antlers and butterfly wings on its back."

Hinata stole a glance at Ino and couldn't help covering her mouth to chuckle softly. Ino was speechless. What the hell kind of thing was this InoShikaCho on Earth? She really couldn't imagine the appearance Son Goku described; this thing sounded like it didn't do much damage, but was highly insulting.

She immediately retorted, "We have a guy called Son Goku over there too. He's a giant ape, extremely short-tempered, and skilled in Lava Release."

After the incredibly joyful meal ended, Ino's family of three stayed overnight at Mount Paozu.

Son Goku's house had limited space, so Ino used Wood Release to build a three-bedroom, two-living-room wooden house by the small river.

Knowing they had some magical alien abilities, Son Goku's family didn't think it was a problem. Bidding each other goodnight, the two families went to rest.
