The level of human development in the Moao South Slope Region is actually not low.
The commerce among the Eight Towns has been ongoing, and basic materials like clothing have gradually integrated across towns. While top-notch materials are a different story, the medium to low-end clothing worn by ordinary people is largely similar in both style and material.
In contrast, since Great Xia has only recently integrated into the Moao South Slope Territory, the Xia clothing, with its diverse colors and exquisite styles, stands out prominently against the Eight Towns.
Of course, ever since Hongmen opened its port in July, Xia clothing has spread widely across the Eight Towns. Currently, from the eight town cities to the village-level camps, some areas have started a trend of wearing Xia clothing. The demand drives the supply, and as Great Xia welcomes all who come, craftsmen specializing in the production of Xia clothes have emerged in a few places.
