Hearing the threat from the man standing before her, the ego she had been trying to suppress and her pride as the Queen of the Empire instantly crumbled. Evelynine tried to move her body, ignoring the pain spreading through her chest. With her body trembling slightly, she forced herself to move and approach Navien again in desperation. She immediately wrapped her arms tightly around his legs, bowing down and begging him like a slave before her master.
"Lord Navien, I have obeyed everything you told me to do. You said you would help me get rid of Duke Florance and make Kaellion take control of this Empire, so I followed everything you said!"
