Aurelia was bedridden for three weeks.
Though the Alpha let her take care of her for a few hours every day, Gretchen could only sit her up to massage her so she wouldn't grow numb.
Hence, her hair had grown miskept and bushier, falling over half her face as she turned toward the voice coming from behind her.
Lydia had already been informed who the person in front of them was. Knowing it was the future lady of the Fox family, she decided to come herself instead of feigning ignorance.
"For someone who was in a coma for three weeks, you don't look very weak." She joked, a small smile gracing her lips.
Aurelia immediately paused, finding the voice familiar.
But on second thought, of course it was familiar. She had come across a ton of maids during her time here. She must've heard her talking in the hallway one of these days.
In her thoughts, she forgot to respond, and the expressions of the other maids turned grim.
