A few days pass and it's the night before Christmas day. After meeting again with Kisaki and Hanma, you and Chifuyu walk the streets of Tokyo. The snow was falling and the lights outside is making everything look pretty.
"Are you scared?" Chifuyu asks. You slowly look at him, not knowing how to properly respond.
"Yes... and no-"
"Why do you say that?"
"I'm afraid we will mess up... but at the same time- I'm not afraid- I don't know... Nevermind." You sigh. Chifuyu looks at you and softly smiles.
"You look tired."
"I am tired." You slightly sigh. Chifuyu nods.
"I'm more afraid that we are being played..." He comments.
"What makes you say that?" You question.
"I mean... what if they're actually setting us up... Kisaki seems like the type to do that."
"Seems like?" You look at Chifuyu. He smiles and nods.
"Yeah yeah... I mean- you know what I mean." He sighs. You smile and nod.
"So what now..." You calmly say.
"We wait... do you wanna do something together tonight?"
"Like what?"
"I don't know... we can watch a movie... or uh..."
You stare at Chifuyu a bit, smiling at him. He slowly looks at you and sighs, smiling back.
"I don't know- something..."
"We can go skating..."
"Skating?" Chifuyu looks at you confused. You smile a bit and nod.
"Ice skating... or- we can just watch a movie... like you said."
"Isn't it too cold to ice skate " Chifuyu huffs. You can see clouds of breath coming from him every time he speaks. You smile and slowly nod.
"Then lets just watch a movie."
He slowly looks at you with soft eyes and shakes his head.
"No no- we can go ice skating... If that's what you wanna do..."
"Like you said... it's too cold- I kinda agree." You softly reply. Chifuyu looks at you and then grabs your hand, leading you somewhere.
You stand still watching people skate on the ice. Couples are holding onto each other and laughing. Chifuyu walks back to you holding two pairs of ice skates.
"I've got you a pair and me a pair..." He slowly says handing you the ice skates. "I think I've gotten you the right size... right?"
You lift up the skates to check the size. You slowly nod at him after reading it. He smiles and sighs a bit in relief.
After getting your skates on, you both make your way to the ice. You slowly step onto the ice, holding onto the sides. Chifuyu gets on behind you. You hold onto the side tightly, trying not to slip and fall. Chifuyu glides a bit beside you, slowly. You look at him confused and shocked.
"You know how to skate?" You ask.
"Mmm... kinda- not well but well enough not to fall..." he awkwardly laughs. You slowly nod feeling a bit shocked and surprised. He holds his hands out, wanting you to grab onto them. You slowly move your hands, grabbing onto his. He smiles at you when you do. He pushes away from the wall, holding onto your hands and gliding backwards.
"See... easy isn't it?" He softly says.
"Yeah... sure- this is definitely easy..." You shakily say. He laughs a little and smiles at you. You smile back at him, staring at him more in depth then you did before. "You know... I never realized... but your eyes are really pretty..." You softly say. "I never realized your eyes were a pretty green color like that... It's really pretty." Chifuyu's eyes widen.
He stumbles a bit, which causes you to let go of his hand. He falls backwards and you fall on top of him. You sit up a bit, rubbing your cheek a bit.
"Ouch..." You softly say. Chifuyu's eyes widen when he sees the cut on your cheek.
"Yuki... don't-" He reaches for your cheek. It was just a little cut. He frowns a bit and tries to get back up but he falls again and falls over you. Your eyes widen as you stare at him. His eyes widen too. People are giggling and staring. Chifuyu sighs and gets up, pulling you up with him.
Back at the bakery, you sit upstairs on your bed, waiting for Chifuyu to come back. You hear the sound of the door to the stairs open. Chifuyu walks into the room holding a bottle, a bag of cotton balls, and a Band-Aid. He places the stuff on the bed beside you and quickly walks away, towards the kitchen. He comes back and wraps a towel in his hand a little. He gently grabs the bottom of your chin and wipes the blood off your cheek. After wiping it, more blood starts to drip out. He quickly places the towel again and begins to open the bag of cotton balls.
"Chifuyu..."
"Hm?"
"I'm sorry..." You softly say. Chifuyu pauses and slowly looks at you.
"Sorry for what?"
"... getting you involved in everything."
"Huh? Why're you saying that?"
"Because- I feel like it's too much... you're right- you know... you could be minding your business and living your life without all the drama, but I keep getting you involved." You sniffle. He stares at you with a blank expression on his face.
"Are you crying...?" He asks, staring at the tears forming in your eyes. You wipe your eyes and sigh.
"You're so nice to me... yet I'm always getting you involved in the most troublesome situations." You sigh.
"Yuki."
"Mm?"
"I'm getting myself involved... not the other way around. When I went to save you that day- from Mucho and Sanzu... I chose to save you... knowing that I was going to be in a messy situation." He calmly says as he takes the plastic off the bottle. "I chose to be involved... I still would be even if you asked me not to..."
"Why?" You question.
"I thought we went over why?"
"..." You stare at him with a sad expression on your face.
"Are you okay...?" He softly asks.
"I'm tired..." You sigh. He stares at you a bit before placing the bottle down. He leans towards you, placing both of his hands on your shoulder, causing you to look up at him.
"I get involved because I like you... a lot." He slowly says. You stare at him a bit.
"I like you too." You slowly say. The both of you stare at each other for a bit. Chifuyu relaxes his eyes and leans closer to you, and gently kissing you on the lips. He pulls away a bit and then kisses you again, more passionately this time. You close your eyes and kiss him back. His hands slowly go down your shoulders. He pushes you down softly, and slowly crawls on top of you, still kissing you.
He moves his face to the side, kissing down your neck. You can feel his hands softly going down your waist, stopping at your pants waistband. His fingers wrap around them. He slowly kisses up your neck to your cheek, licking the blood off your wound. He lifts his head up a bit, making contact with you.
"Can I continue?" He softly asks. You stare at him for a bit before slowly nodding. He leans back towards you and continues to kiss you on the lips as he pulls your pants off.
You softly moan as you feel him going in and out of you. He presses his body down against your back. You can feel the warmth of his skin touching your back and the coldness of the necklace around his neck resting on your back. He wraps his arms around you and buries his face into your neck as he thrusts into you a little faster. His moans and panting get a little louder causing you to feel hotter.
The next morning you slowly open your eyes. Chifuyu is beside you, hugging you and asleep. You sigh a bit and rub your head. Today is Christmas day.
Chifuyu and you sit downstairs in the bakery eating something sweet. Chifuyu eats more then talk. You watch him as he chows down on the sweets.
"Are you okay?" You softly ask. Chifuyu slowly looks at you and swallows his food.
"Yeah... I'm just a little tired..." He softly replies. "These sweets are so good..." He softly bubbles. You smile back at him.
"So... today we have to meet up with Kisaki and Hanma." You slowly say. Chifuyu slowly nods.
"I'm supposed to meet up with Hanma and you're supposed to meet up with Kisaki." Chifuyu replies. "Did Kisaki tell you where yet?" He asks. You nod.
"Did Hanma tell you where?" You ask.
"Kisaki told me where..."
"Okay..."
"But-" He swallows his food again and wipes his face with a napkin. "Say they set us up... We should share our locations with each other..." Chifuyu calmly says pulling his phone out from his pocket. He shows you where Kisaki said for him to meet up. You pull out your phone and show him where Kisaki said for you to go. Chifuyu nods and so do you.
The time has come and it's late at night. You and Chifuyu split ways, meeting at the specific destination. When you make it to the location you see Kisaki standing calmly and silently beside a wall. You furrow your eyebrows, slowly approaching Kisaki.
"Ready?" He asks. You slowly nod. He nods too and motions you to follow him. You quietly follow behind him as you both make your way to the church. You furrow your eyebrows remembering what Sakura said to you.
"Kisaki... I have a question." You calmly say. Kisaki takes a deep breath and darts his eyes towards you. You slowly look at him. His face wasn't facing you, but his eyes were looking at you.
"What?"
"Who is Kasumi really?" You calmly ask.
"What do you mean?"
"The student council president mentioned that Kasumi wasn't actually a student at our school... I thought you might have an idea on who she is... since she has like- worked for you..."
He stops walking which causes you to stop. He slowly looks at you. He has a mean but dull expression in his face. His eyes bore down at yours. You clench your fist feeling strange.
"You smell like him."
"Huh?" You furrow your eyebrows feeling confused. Kisaki leans closer to you causing you to flinch a bit.
"You've been sleeping with him... haven't you?"
"Sleeping with who?"
"Chifuyu."
You stare at him feeling weirded out and oddly curious on how he knows that. He stares at you for a bit before sighing and standing up straight.
"I don't care what you both do... but I wouldn't recommend messing around with multiple people... it will only hurt the others..." He calmly says, turning away and walking away.
You stare at him a bit, not knowing how to respond then you furrow your eyebrows.
"Wait a minute... I asked a question... why did you suddenly just switch the conversation."
"About Kasumi... right?"
"Yeah... her-"
"When we were younger... I remember something specific about you that in a way aggravated me."
"What are you talking about?"
"The people you hung around..."
"Okay?" You say feeling even more confused.
"You always wondered why I was in first place, and you were always in second place... asking me constantly what my secret was but never asking yourself what your flaw was."
"My flaw?"
"Your flaw was your delusional games..."
"Delusional games...?"
"And delusional friends..."
"Huh? What are you talking about...?"
"What I'm saying is that you're delusional" he says, stopping and turning to look at you. "And a follower."
"Where does any of that answer my question...?"
"You ask who Kasumi is... and what her real identity was... right?"
"Mhm..."
"What I'm saying is Kasumi is someone you know well... someone you would play with all the time when you were younger... so you should know the answer to your question if you think about it."
"Why can't you just tell me...?"
"I don't want to... that's why." He calmly responds. You furrow your eyebrows.
"I don't understand."
"Of course you don't..."
"Why are you so shitty, huh? Why can't you just tell me...? You used her to find information on me... why?" You huff. Kisaki stops walking and grabs you by the arm. You flinch feeling extremely nervous.
"Yuki..." He says leaning closer to you. "You're a smart girl... you can figure that out." He says smiling at you. Your eyes widen and your eyebrows furrow.
"Let go of me..." You huff trying to pull away.
"What... you don't want to just use your fucking brain and figure it out...?" He seethes. You try pulling away and his grip gets tighter. "If you really want me to let go then hit me... kick me... I know you can do that-"
You stand stiffly, feeling the pain of his grip tighten around your arm. He lets go of you and you stand still.
"You're pathetic... I don't know what made you so fucking weak... but the uselessness makes this whole thing more enjoyable."
"What are you talking about?" You question.
"I'm saying... you're making this a lot easier for me." He smiles.
"Huh?"
"Don't think too hard about it..." He says backing away. You look at him confused. Someone grabs you from behind, covering your mouth and suffocating you. You weaken and black out. Kisaki watches as you do.
"Did you tie the other one up?"
"Yeah... he was a lot harder to take down but... I did it." Hanma laughs a little. Kisaki nods and looks in the direction of the church.
"Do the same to her... I'll inform Kokonoi about them both..." Kisaki says.
"Heheh... alright." Hanma laughs, throwing you over his shoulder.
