Then she walked away, her footsteps echoing on the wooden floor.
Caroline's screams followed behind her, but Mandy didn't turn back.
She just stared out the window, sipping the same juice she hadn't finished earlier.
For the first time in days… she felt refreshed.
She also called her mother and told her everything.
In an instant, the case against Aurora was withdrawn, and as compensation, Mandy's mother even asked the police officers to apologize to Aurora the next day.
Aurora was informed the same.
"Hm? Is Mandy that generous?" Aurora muttered.
From her perspective, Mandy was a nosy and unreasonable person.
Caroline's matters weren't of Mandy's concern, yet she went out of her way to make Aurora's life hell.
However, seeing Mandy crying and taking revenge on Caroline, Aurora decided to ignore her.
She had taken her revenge and was satisfied that both Caroline and Mandy had suffered. Now she could sleep peacefully.
