Logan's POV
It looked like… him.
No. That couldn't be right.
I shook my head slightly, forcing myself to look again. If it really was him, then the person standing in front of me should look exactly the same… but that didn't make sense.
Maybe my mind was just playing tricks on me.
Still, I couldn't stop staring.
"Mister…" I started, hesitating because, well, I still hadn't caught his real name earlier. My brain had stored it as three different guesses, and at this point, it was just safer to pick all three.
He turned to me, his brows pulling together. "What?"
I lifted the photo carefully, pointing at it. "I was just wondering… who's this person in the picture?"
He didn't answer right away. Instead, his gaze narrowed. "Why are you asking?"
Oh no.
I must've overstepped. Maybe I sounded nosy.
