Jessica nodded lightly, her finger tapping her temple in a steady rhythm. "I think I have seen him somewhere."
Davis, who had been massaging her legs, paused mid-motion. He sat upright, his brows slightly raised. "Are you sure?"
"I'm quite sure about it. At that time…," she paused, sifting her memories to recollect the exact location.
"Baby, don't stress over it," Davis said gently. "Maybe it's just your pregnancy hormones acting up again."
Jessica Brown furrowed lightly as she glared at him. "Do you think I am losing my senses because of pregnancy?"
"How can my almighty wife lose her senses? Not even for a second," he said with a calm smile, attempting to soothe her. He had no intention of triggering her temper today.
Seeing him in hurry to deny his words, Jessica shook her head lightly in resignation.
"Fake," she muttered under her breath, leaning back on the couch with a sigh. "But I know he isn't who you think he is."
