[The Criminal Court of Sodom City]
The Criminal Court of Sodom was bustling with an unusual energy today. The grand hall, typically reserved for solemn proceedings, was now packed to the brim—not with the usual spectators, but with soldiers.
The air was thick with tension, and the only case on the docket was the arrest warrant for Lillye Gullee, the patriarch of the infamous Gullee family.
At the center of the chaos stood Minister Alem, his voice calm but firm as he addressed the young man who had stormed into the court with an army at his back. "Master Lilleo, bringing an armed force into my court is highly inappropriate," he said, his eyes narrowing at Lilleo Gullee.
Leo, however, was unbothered.
He hadn't come alone, nor had he brought any lawyers. His sole advocate was Grammers, his bullying sidekick.
"Release our master immediately," Grammers barked, his voice echoing through the hall, "or we'll reduce this building to rubble."
The court's own soldiers, disciplined and battle-hardened, stood their ground. They weren't afraid of the Gullee army; they were wary of the man known as the Demon of Gullee—Leo himself, the one who had single-handedly slain the Demonlord Azuthol and driven the demonic hordes back into the ruins of Sodom.
Before the tension could escalate further, the doors burst open once more.
General Nahum strode in, flanked by the city's soldiers. His presence was commanding, and his voice cut through the chaos like a blade. "What is the meaning of this, Lilleo?" he demanded, his gaze fixed on Leo.
Leo remained silent, leaving Grammers to speak for him. "Release Lillye Gullee, and we'll leave peacefully," Grammers declared. "Refuse, and we'll tear this place apart."
General Nahum's eyes narrowed. "Are you suggesting treason?" he asked, his tone icy.
Leo finally spoke, his voice low and dangerous. "Treason? That word doesn't exist in my fucking vocabulary."
Before the confrontation could spiral further, a new figure entered the court. Dressed in the lavish ceremonial garbs of the Imperial Court of Koresh, the man exuded authority. He pulled a chair to the center of the room, placed one foot on it, and unfurled a scroll.
"By order of the Emperor of Koresh," he announced, "Lillye Gullee is charged with failing to obey the edict of war against the West Kun Empire. He is to be arrested and judged according to the law."
The room fell silent as Lillye Gullee was brought forward, his once-proud frame now weary and broken. "Do you admit to your crimes?" the imperial envoy demanded.
"I am innocent," Lillye replied, his voice steady despite his condition.
"There you have it," Grammers interjected. "He's innocent. Release him."
The envoy sneered. "This is not how trials are conducted in the Koresh Kingdom. Are you ignorant of our laws?"
Leo's patience snapped. "Then conduct your damned trial here and now," he growled, "before I find a potion to regrow your cock just so I can cut it off again."
The envoy, a eunuch of the Imperial Court, flushed with rage. "How dare you!" he muttered and spat.
Minister Alem stepped in, his voice firm. "This gentleman is Special Administrator Colleen of the Imperial Koresh Court. You will show him respect."
Leo smirked. "Ah, fucking eunuchs. I've castrated plenty of them in my time."
Colleen's face turned crimson. Surprisingly there was fear in his eyes when he heard Leo.
With a sharp gesture, he summoned a group of black-clad women—assassins from the Temple of Hera. The room bristled with tension as both sides prepared for battle.
General Nahum stepped forward, his voice booming. "Enough! This is a court of law. We will settle this through due process."
Reluctantly, the soldiers and assassins stood down. Minister Alem cleared his throat. "If we can proceed like civilized individuals, we will begin the trial."
Colleen scoffed. "There will be no trial here. The trial will take place in Debauchery City."
Alem shook his head. "According to the laws of the empire, any arrest warrant issued in Sodom must first be presented before the Court of Sodom. That is the law."
Colleen glared but said nothing. He yanked the chair from under his foot and sat down. "Fine. Conduct your farce of a trial. I have prisoners to transport."
The trial began. Minister Alem turned to Lillye. "General Lillye, did you disobey the order of the Imperial Court to march against the West Kun Empire?"
"No," Lillye replied. "I marched east, as decreed."
"Then why did you not reach the frontlines?" Alem pressed.
"Because I was recalled before I could arrive," Lillye said, producing a scroll. It was an official order for his retreat, bearing the seal of the Koresh Empire.
Alem examined the scroll and showed it to Colleen. "This order appears genuine. General Lillye is not at fault."
Colleen waved it off. "It's a forgery."
"I've verified its authenticity," Alem insisted.
In reality, the edict of recall was indeed forged by the Temple of Assassin. The forgery was so good that even the Court of Sodom couldn't tell its fake easily without an expert to validate it.
But validity of the documents wasn't high on the minds of the executioners of the warrant.
"If I say it's a fraud, then it's a fraud, do I still need to waste time validating the bloody documents?" Colleen snapped. "Who are you to question me?"
Special Administrator Colleen was using his imperial position to get what he wanted without going through the proper process. He was used to this kind of method.
Alem glanced at General Nahum, who gave a subtle nod. "Very well," Alem announced. "General Lillye is free to go. This arrest warrant is not valid in Sodom city."
Colleen shot to his feet. "This is treason!"
"The Koresh Court should enforce your own warrants of arrest if they do not fulfil the justice requirement of Sodom", General Nahum replied to Special Administrator Colleen.
"Treason", Colleen screamed again.
Suddenly, to everyone's shock, Leo echoed the word. "Treason."
Lillye turned to his son, confusion etched on his face. "Leo, what are you doing?"
Leo ignored him, addressing Colleen instead. "Special Administrator, allow me to enforce your fucking warrant. I'll arrest Lillye myself."
