Sera hated Rowan. She wanted to give him a piece of her mind before strangling him to death, but she knew that wouldn't happen so easily. He was starting to get on her nerves, and she wanted nothing but to get away from him. So long as Rowan was around, her perfectly crafted plans would either be delayed or thwarted.
It was already hard enough for her, having her soul tied to a corrupt system, and Rowan made it difficult for her to advance with her plans. She needed to find a way to be acquitted of the case of poisoning the saintess, but it was hard for her to expedite it.
Sera could feel a headache coming her way. She threw the book she was pretending to read and decided to retire for the night. It would be best for her to lie low and not to do anything for the following days. She decided to take a break and avoid Rowan at all costs.
