Two days passed.
Ben was still unaware of the disaster that was slowly moving toward them.
He sat on the floor and took a break.
He looked around and admired the result of his work.
He had worked on this mine nonstop for more than forty‑eight hours.
The place had completely changed.
Many krell moved around on their tasks, while others stood still like statues.
That did not mean they were relaxed.
At the first sign of danger, they would react.
One soldier waited beside a lever, ready to drop the gate if anything happened.
Two more guarded the front of the gate, prepared to buy time in case of an attack.
The dungeon entrance was now fully enclosed by a solid square structure.
A sturdy gate blocked the path.
Ben had even placed another krell right at the entrance as a final guard.
He did not want anything unexpected to crawl out of the dungeon.
He still felt uneasy.
Their understanding of the dungeon was limited.
Ben was sure this ruin did not originally belong here.
