Chapter 74 - Pt. 9: 73: Bloody Eyes Means

There were a few minutes of silence as Rose Slayer went back to his desk to check the file that Shana had just shared with her. She didn't say everything she knew about the faces on the sketches, but she didn't lie either. She sighed before turning serious at the wolf form of her husband.

"I know we should be talking about the remaining unsaid secrets, but at the moment, look over these images…" She said seriously and showed the sketches to him. "Shana's issue is entangled with some of my targets."

Sensing the seriousness over the topic, Vincencio quickly shifted back into his wolf form – half naked, making Rose Slayer remove her coat and toss it over her husband. He smiled and put on the before checking the files on his desk.

"These are…the dead people on the news." Vincencio recognized the faces that his wife killed during her night hunt. "So, these people were…"

"They were minions to some mafia and gangs in the city. But Vince, I don't want Shana to get involved with my night games." Rose Slayer said with a hopeful tone, but her eyes were still serious, staring over one face.

"She won't but…" He assured before pointing to Verosha, aka Lady Rose, and the Master. "…but these two will be around your games."

"You knew them?" She wondered for clarification.

"Of course, Lady Rose has been my loyal customer for her firearms and medicine supplies." He answered honestly when Rose Slayer pointed to another image.

"And this one?" she wondered with narrowed eyes, as if she knew him.

"Aside from firearms, supplies for stocks, he has been connected with the Cross family and Aspire for FRSil." He answered, trying to read his wife's empty expression.

"He looked familiar." She muttered softly before asking, "What's his name?"

"You sound interested in him." He teasingly pouted, admitting his jealousy, "You're making me jealous."

"Don't be, he looked familiar, like I've seen him before…" She corrected him.

"His name is Master, and where do you think you'd seen him?" he answered, including his question.

"I'm unsure, but I hope he's not involved with my past." She answered with a sigh, but deep inside, she knew the name and the face. She just didn't tell Vincencio at the moment without clarifying them. Then she added, "Anyway, find a few things about this man and I'll do the same. We'll talk about it in case it's suddenly connected to my night hunt."

"Should Shana hear this too?" he wondered, earning a frown from his wife, but Vincencio just shrugged his shoulders. He was ignoring her warning glare because she was jealous.

"Not until we're sure about the information we got." She answered before standing up and grabbing his collar. "Don't get too close to her or I'll end him."

"Are you sure she's your sister-in-law?" He teasingly asked, but instead of answering, Vincencio kissed the floor. He whined, rubbing his face from the contact on the floor. "Wifey."

"Don't test me now that you know what I can do." She warned, then she grabbed his chin and pecked his lips before tauntingly smiling, "You saw me fight a werewolf, don't make me kill a member of your pack."

Vincenico shivered, and his wolf purred over his wife's control. He was not a submissive wolf, but around his wife, he could be, and Rose Slayer loves it. Rose Slayer tossed his mask.

"If you want to upgrade your mask, just tell me. I'll let you join me in being Joey's test subject." She grinned as she offered.

"You're kidding, right?" He smirked teasingly back.

"I'm not, and as for accepting your secret as a werewolf and being a Night Hound, here." She said as she pulled out her two powerful handguns and gave them to him, making him look at her in disbelief. "It's good for night creatures."

"Are these guns your favorite twin handguns?" He asked, checking the guns with enthusiasm, making Rose Slayer's gaze soften.

"So you knew?" She teased, making Vincencio blush and wear his mask to hide his blushing face. She chuckled before answering, "Yes, and since you hold them perfectly, I'll give you the rights to use them, but don't touch my blades."

"Well, you're a vampire, of course, blades will be perfect for you," he agreed while admiring her guns.

"Just don't love my guns more than you love me." She said, leaning over his couch.

"Don't be jealous because through these, I felt like you're with me." He grinned and kissed her guns, making her blush.

"Good. I'll go ahead." She said, shaking her head before adding, "But don't forget to tell me what happened between you and Shana, or you'll stay outside for a week."

"Can you stay away that long?" He refuted teasingly. She glared but sighed.

"Fine, just the entire night." She reduced the punishment, making him grin.

"Deal." He agreed and put on the rest of his mask, making it full once again, and Rose Slayer left without a trace aside from the coat he was wearing.

As Rose Slayer drove back to her lair, she made a quick detour after sensing being tailed. She made sure it had been shaken before vanishing into the woods, masking her entire being, blending into the darkness until she entered the cabin.

"Got something for you to check on." Rose Slayer quickly gave the images that she copied from Shana's sketches, and some information was added to them.

"Noted, and here's the information Ruby got for us about Monica." Beta said, handing a file about Monica's whereabouts lately, and it was around the area, she didn't want to step in unless it had to kill.

"This place…" She mumbled, and Beta nodded.

"Yes, she's been going there two to three times per week. No fail. She was either getting evidence, information, or meeting someone there." She added, making Rose Slayer nod, and Beta continued, "And Delta J got this clarification about Monica's deep involvement with the SRF and added information from Lady Rose and Sir L."

"She's getting too close, isn't she?" She guessed, making a beta nod.

"Yes, and we have to move faster before the SRF makes their move against her. She's being watched." Beta answered as she showed live footage of Monica being tailed by SRF securities.

"Alright. Tell Delta to come up with something, and Beta, you know what to do." She sternly said, and Beta nodded, but took notice of the stress on her boss.

"Are you okay?" She asked carefully as she handed her a glass of water.

"Yeah, I just uncovered something tonight, and now, it's crashing my mind. I can't think straight, so please, handle this for now. I need a break for a night or two." She answered honestly before firmly adding. "But during this moment, we have to plan and place everything in their areas."

"Agreed, and if you need some ears, I'm here. Also, Irina misses your company." Beta said, understanding the stress already built up over her boss.

"Okay, I'll drop by…" She said, standing up before reminding her, "…and tightened the security around here. I'm being followed."

"I know. I saw it, you'd better change your ride." She suggested, and Rose Slayer agreed, before heading to their secret basement that was deeply connected to an underground basement filled with a collection of vintage cars and motorbikes, to the latest models.

"Let's ride the Mini Cooper." She mumbled and grabbed the keys before choosing the red and black mini car, then left the underground.

She didn't use the usual route since her underground basement has tunnels connected to different locations, and since she needed to pay Irina a visit, she went to the eastern tunnel. She drove her car to the rough road near the city's border and drove to her company, then up to her penthouse as soon as she arrived.

"Irina, Mommy is here." Rose Slayer removed her mask and, one by one, she removed the rest of her hunting clothing, leaving her in her racerback shirt and her inner shorts.

"Mom! I miss you." Irina appeared in a flash and jumped into her arms like a kid. Skylar caught her in her arms before heading to her bedroom and put her down.

"Sorry for the wait. I heard from Medina that you missed me." She giggled and ran to her closet to get a new pair of clothing.

"Well, I do, but not as much as I yearn for her..." Irina answered politely while hugging a pillow before sniffing, "…but you, on the other hand, smelt different."

"Different? How different?" Skylar asked after changing into her comfy clothing, an oversized hoodie and shorts.

"Your vampire side is awake but sleeping?" With narrowed eyes, she answered confusedly, making Skylar chuckle.

"Huh? That's weird to describe it like that." She said, making Irina adorably pout.

"Well, it already awakened, but it chooses to sleep whenever it isn't needed. Something like that." She corrected herself, and Skylar nodded before gently ruffling her hair.

"Ah, that's better. But I wonder what kind of vampire I had?" She curiously wondered.

"Then be marked by your wolf." She teased, making Skylar blush, and Irina added, "Based on how you blush, it looks like you knew it already."

"And you didn't tell me because?" With squinted eyes, she wondered.

"I'm not in the position to tell you about it." She answered and winked.

"I see." She shook her head as they headed to the kitchen, as Irina dragged her there.

"But, Mom, you're vampire side is strong and it goes stronger to the point I can't measure its blood power." She informed her when something suddenly flashed into her eyes, and Irina noticed. "Mom, your eyes were filled with blood, and they weren't just around the pupils but the entire eyes."

"Oh…what does it mean?" she wondered and touched her right eye, but it was not bleeding or painful.

"I'm not sure, but…he's here," Irian answered when she felt someone enter the penthouse in such a rush. "DAD, IN THE KITCHEN!"

Skylar looked confused and turned behind. She saw Vincencio pant in worry and quickly engulfed her with his arms, sniffing her scent again.

"Hubby, what's wrong?" Skylar wondered as she carefully pulled away and looked worried at him.

"Vin told me to hurry, but didn't disclose why, and seeing you like this, I understand what he meant," Vincencio answered her, but was still left confused.

"I'll bring breakfast tomorrow," Irina interjected teasingly, but Vincencio shook his head.

"No need, Irina, but be around at lunch and tell Medina she won't be coming to the company tomorrow." He said and kissed Irina's head like a caring father would.

"Consider it done, Dad." She grinned, leaving Skylar confused about what they were talking about.

"Seriously, what's gotten into the two of you?" Skylar glared at them, but none of them answered aside from a secretive giggle.

"Sorry, Wifey. I'll tell you when we go home because you're in heat." Vincencio mischievously grinned and quickly carried Skylar into his arms as they headed to the door. Irina followed, skipping behind them.

"Be sure I'll have siblings." Irina suddenly teased, making Vincencio chuckle.

"Noted." He agreed, making Skylar blush and hide over his neck.

"Oh! That thing…" She mumbled softly as she let him carry her to their car and head home.

As soon as they arrived, Skylar tried to run away, but Vincencio caught her wrist and pinned her to the foyer's wall. He leaned and sniffed her scent, causing a soft moan to escape from Skylar, making her blush.

"Cute." Vincencio sweetly said and stole a kiss from her lips.

"Shut up and tell me exactly what you mean about me being in heat?" Skylar pushed him a little and asked despite the heat crawling under her skin.

"Hm, to werewolves, it means you're ready to get pregnant, and I don't share." He directly answered, making Skylar blush, but her mind drifted to where she had been rejected.

"Oh, but when I tried to do you, you won't." She refuted with annoyance, although her heart was calling him already.

"And you know the reason." He countered and pressed himself closer to her. Skylar yelped as, for the first time, she felt Vincencio's radiating desire and claim, making her heartbeat become deafening.

"And you're not getting it tonight." She declined being claimed and gave Vincencio an upper cut, then escaped from his lock.

"WHAT?!" he shouted.

"You made me wait and felt rejected, so suck it up." Blushing, Skylar answered as she walked toward the staircase

"Wifey." He whined adorably, but Skylar was not giving in.

"Stay on the couch." She said, but her need for her husband was sending a signal to Vincencio. "Damn, so hot. I had never felt this heat before."

"NO!" Vincencio growled, making Skylar jolt because she already heard Vin, the wolf, in unison with her husband, and she was carried like a sack.
