"Sorry for this sudden meeting." Investigator Jin politely apologized to the couple as they had their morning coffee in the resort restaurant's private room.
"Just go straight to the point since you're already ruining our moment as a married couple." Skylar grumpily said, rolling her eyes before yawning.
"Sorry about her, officer. She is always busy and this is the only time we could spend together." Vincencio politely apologized before holding his wife's hand, calming her down.
"I'm sincerely apologizing for that; I'm Investigator Reo and this is Investigator Jin and we're here to interview about last night's event." Investigator Reo started the interview, surprising the couple.
"Last night? We're in the pool party. Why? What happened?" Vincencio confusedly asked.
"Two bodies were found in two different rooms and we suspect that Rose Slayer killed one of them because her signature tainted flower was found in one of the rooms." Investigator Jin answered and showed two pictures from two different rooms.
"We here to ask we were you between ten-forty-five pm to eleven?" Investigator Reo asked the couple carefully studying them.
"We're in the party. We're mingling for business and we speak to the hosts. And since my wife was being teased, she and Ruby went stroll at the shore." Vincencio answered honestly.
"Yes, I spent time with Ruby talking about the resort's updates then we came back to enjoy the party. I introduced her to some business partners that I knew and made new connections then later I saw Mrs. Sterling by the bar and we talked a little then she left before I went back to the party with my husband." Skylar added where she had been last night – her alibi.
"Since it was getting late, we returned to our bedroom and then woke up from your knock." Vincencio finished, making the two officers sternly look at them, studying them.
"You sounded like you were rehearsing this." Investigator Reo commented, making a Skylar glare at him.
"How can we do that when we don't have time for it?" Skylar grumpily asked, making a point.
"Wifey, calm down." Vincencio squeezed her hand, trying to calm her down before apologizing, "Sorry about her grumpiness in the morning. She didn't want to be disturbed whenever she's having alone time with me."
"As if you're not like this too." Skylar refuted, not caring if two officers heard their usual morning banter.
"Can't argue but that's not the point right now, let's just help them and be grumpy later." Vincencio kissed her cheek, making Skylar roll her eyes, and crossing her arms.
"It seems to me you have a clingy wife." Amused, Investigator Jin commented, making Vincencio nod.
"Got a problem with that officer?" Skylar glared grumpily.
"And grumpy in the morning." Vincencio teased, making Skylar pinch his side.
"We can see that." Investigator Reo chuckled amusingly.
"Cute couple. Anyway, we checked the CCTV and talked with people around here and you're good to go." Amused, Investigator Jin said sternly before adding, "We just want to tally your alibi from what we got so far."
The couple nodded and was about to leave when Skylar stopped, making the two investigators confused.
"Anything else?" Investigator Reo asked while Jin noted down what they learned.
"I'm just curious about something," Skylar said seriously, catching the investigators' attention.
"Go ahead." Investigator Jin insisted on hearing her thoughts about the matter.
"Why do you think Rose Slayer would kill anyone in this resort? I mean, why in a resort's bedroom when she's a brutal killer?" Skylar wondered curiously.
"And you're asking because?" Investigator Reo wondered.
"I'm also following the news about her and based on the news, Rose Slayer is a brutal killer, and killing in the resort's bedroom is not ideal from brutality without getting caught by the room services, don't you think?" She answered a question, making a point.
"You had a point." Investigator Jin nodded in consideration.
"Are you sure you're not connected with the Rose Slayer?" Investigator Reo wondered carefully, making Skylar shrug her shoulders.
"Well, you can say that I'm a fan of how clever Rose Slayer was." She replied nonchalantly.
"I agreed with you on the clever part but you also have to think that a killer shouldn't be looked up to." Investigator Jin understood her admiration for the killer's intelligence.
"Why? Isn't the Rose Slayer helping you clean up a kind of mess that any police could not touch?" Skylar asked, creating something for them to check and the investigators were catching up.
"What are you referring to?" Investigator Reo wondered curiously.
"Think of it carefully since you're handling Rose Slayer's case. What kind of people that the Rose Slayer was killing?" Skylar suggested a question before adding, "I know it's a bad deed but you might find a connection to why the Rose Slayer killing that kind of people."
"We already checked the records of those people Rose Slayer's killed." Investigator Reo answered and understood what Skylar was referring to.
"We already have evidence from what we gathered and what Rose Slayer left us." Investigator Jin added but suddenly trailed off like he was getting something.
"And have you found it to either scene here?" Skylar asked them, making the two investigators look at the images and their eyes grow wide.
"Dammit! Why we haven't thought about it?!" With slight frustration, Investigator Reo reacted before dropping the images on the table.
The images revealed the difference between the two crime scenes; one had a reflection of the bad deeds of the victim – drugs and death with a note about the victim's deeds on the side without a tainted white rose. However, on the bed, there was a single white rose, leaving a message saying: 'Your deathbed is coming.' As for the second crime scene, there was a signature tainted white rose of Rose Slayer but the crime scene wasn't stating the bad deeds of the victim which obviously did not indicate it was Rose Slayer's crime scene.
"I think you need to study more about Rose Slayer's case," Skylar suggested, making them look at her amazed but at the same time curious.
"You're clever." Investigator Reo praised but sighed in frustration about what slipped from their sight.
"But I'm not that clever like Rose Slayer." Skylar corrected, making them chuckle.
"Indeed you are not because if you were, you'd be wearing chains." Investigator Jin chuckled, amused by Skylar intelligence.
"If need my intelligence, I'm willing to help." Skylar offered, making the investigators wary but agreed.
They knew the couple from having clear records and both workaholic people which made them have no time to commit such a delicate and precise crime scene in a short period of time. Only a professional killer could do it and the couple was free from the investigators' prying eyes.
"Whew, seriously, that Mrs. Saison-Monsour reminded me of the notorious mafia in the city."
"You mean, on how she thinks?"
"No, but her presence."
"Hahaha, just admit you miss your intimidating ex-wife."
"Shut up."

After their interrupted morning, the Saison-Monsour went back home but as usual, Skylar had to work while Vincencio left at home since it was his day off. She might wanted to stay with him like a clingy and sweet wife but being a workaholic CEO she was, she went to her company like a winter storm.
"Med, what's my schedule for this day?" Skylar asked coldly as soon as she arrived at her company.
"Nothing…" Medina replied but before she could even finish Skylar reacted furiously.
"WHAT?!" Skylar exclaimed, making everyone in the lobby look worried at her stormy temper before running to their designated departments.
"I'm not finished." Medina sighed as she pressed the elevator's button.
"If I don't have anything to do, I'd rather head home and have my time with my husband." She rolled her eyes in annoyance, making Medina chuckle and shaking her head.
"You're so clingy which is over the top but that can wait since you have to check the last updates around the SaiRus Corps event at ten, then later your uncle will drop by." She informed her boss as they entered the lift.
"My uncle? He never drop by here." Skylar wondered, thinking carefully about the sudden visitation of her busy uncle.
"I know, that's why you need to meet him." She agreed and suggested.
"Speaking of him, anything about my hubby and uncle's connection to Alicia Irie?" She asked, recalling the favor she asked before.
"I'll tell you what I've got so far but you need to meet your uncle first. He might have something to say." Medina sounded serious as she replied, making Skylar nod.
"Alright. Arrange my time to meet him either around lunch or after, and I hope I get home earlier than usual." Skylar responded coldly and stepped out from the lift, walking to her hall.
"Then don't wish it." She said, following her boss.
"I'm not, just hoping." She refuted before entering her office and Medina went to her table to do their jobs.

"Had a spare time for me kiddo?" Adrian asked as soon as he entered her office.
"I made some so, what brought you here?" Skylar asked, not looking at her uncle and focused on her paperwork.
"Can't I just visit you?" Amused, he teased her niece.
"Uncle Adrian, don't start with me. I'm okay just being needy of my husband's presence and please, be direct to me." Skylar responded coldly, making Adrian chuckle and sit comfortably on the couch.
"I heard the crime scene at Gregory's resort which I hope you're not involved with it." Adrian's voice turned serious as he opened the topic.
"And if I am? What is to you?" Skylar stopped what she was doing and sternly asked him.
"Then you're going to get yourself entangled with SR Federation and Moon Rose Familia." He sighed, replying seriously to his niece.
"I'm already entangled with Moon Rose Familia and being entangled with SR Federation has no difference to me at all." She responded, linking her fingers before resting her chin on them.
"Sky, they're notorious mafia in the city. They were at the top of the list of mafias here and Moon Rose Familia is at the second rank. If you get yourself involved more than Moon Rose Familiar, you're hitting a wall that you can't break." With sincere worry, he reminded her but Skylar laughed.
"HAHAHA! You're funny, Uncle. Very funny." Skylar sinisterly giggled before responding grimly, "I have my reasons for breaking it."
Adrian suddenly flinched and it was not his niece's words but the way Skylar turned grim. There was a quick flicker of darkness filled with blood, making his blood go dry.
"You're going to get yourself killed," Adrian said, trying to gain composure from the cold shiver that he sensed from his niece.
"Everyone who was involved in my death will face death too and even you can't stop it." Skylar spat with venom, making Adrian shiver.
"How about Vincencio?" he suddenly tested water when he asked her that.
"Don't involve him in the topic." She glared, making the entire office go dark and cold. Adrian held his ground despite the danger that his niece was sending to him. And for the first time, he was intimidated and frightened of Skylar.
"He'll learn it one day, Skylar. That you, the alpha general and rose slayer are one." Adrian refuted trying to gain the upper hand on the topic but Skylar was different. She was becoming a monster.
"I know and I will deal with it when it happens so I'm warning you uncle, not a word or I might forget that you're my blood relative." She warned grimly her uncle who gulped and realized something.
"You're willing to kill for him." He took notice, making him see a glimpse of the awakening beast staring back at him.
"More than just a kill, Uncle, I will burn the world and fill it with blood if somebody or someone tries to get in between us. Not even you will be saved from it." She said coldly before warning him sternly. "I'm warning you, Uncle, not my husband."

The night should have been their alone time as a lovely married couple who were still in honeymoon pace but suddenly, it got interrupted by a night duty call for Vincencio.
"Seriously, Hubby, tonight?" Skylar whined, pouting as well from the sudden urgent emergency that Vincencio needed to deal with.
"Sorry, wifey, duty calls me. I'll make it up to you, promise." Vincencio chuckled and dearly kissed her lips with a promise of returning a favor.
"You better be." She sighed, letting her husband do her night job routine again. However, there was turmoil inside her chest whenever Vincencio was out at night. "I need to let it out."
