Third-person POV
The next morning came, and the area in the Light Plains Shopping and Residential Area and the Fern-Tani Station was cleared at 8:36 a.m. thanks to the Shogun's distribution of the warning tracts of the DT plot. A magical line was enchanted around the perimeter by the RLC priests, and Ishidzu's Metropolitan Police Force was dispatched to fend off Samusa and his squad, who were hiding in alleyways between buildings. Basilio and everyone on his side were stationed at the key exit points of the area. Katsuko was excited about this mission. The sun was rising on the western Ishidzu Mountain Range.
And then, without knowing if the area is crowded, Samusa and his DT squad came out with remote controls on hand for the bombs in the joints and pillars of the three buildings to be exploded and cause mayhem and destruction.
"The darkness will prevail and rule!" Samusa screamed as he and his armed gang pressed the remotes.
POP! POP! POP!
Instead of explosive gunpowder, the bombs sprayed lots of confetti in the area and on them.
The atmosphere changed, and they were shocked and disoriented.
"What the hell?!" one of his men asked in shock while trying to shake off the paper, colourful confetti from his body.
"Is this a birthday party or something?" another asked.
While the gang was disoriented, Basilio and the others emerged with weapons, pointing at them.
"You think this area is a chessboard?" Lyam hissed at them while pointing his Falleta-made AR-15 at the gang.
"Nice try, guys." Basilio pointed his modified Blood Sword at them as well.
Romana pointed her own modified Blood Sword, and the same goes for Katsuko with his lead pipe.
"Happy birthday, punks…" Katsuko tapped his lead pipe against his palm, "…hope you like this present."
And then, being deceived and cornered, Samusa dropped his now-useless detonator and pulled out his dual Uzi submachine guns from his tactical pockets. "Men, open fire!" A gunfight ensued.
