Third person POV
So, the next morning came, and Basilio and his group flew to Mont De Nèu to its capital, a mountainous, snowy fort called Pilarwell, by helicopter. The morning weather between 6-9 a.m. was good, and the weather in Mont De Nèu and its controlled territory was good, aside from a snowy condition near Pilarwell. Also, Fritzi and his party came with them as well. The group was looking forward to meeting up with the Snow Vamzoms, who were currently under the leadership of one Marcellus Pagano, a partially hostile one with ice magic and armed with a few modern weapons, mostly from Falleta. And now, upon arriving in a field just 20 meters from Pilarwell, Basilio and his group got off and started walking towards Pilarwell on foot while being vigilant in their surroundings. However, upon approaching Pilarwell's stone walls, the weather became that of a small, weak blizzard, reducing any visibly partially and communication totally, making the latter impossible. So, some of the Snow Vamzoms saw them and thinking that they are a threat to them, they ambushed them with their signature Blood Sword, pistols, and sniper weapons. Seeing the attacks they were being thrown at, the group from Ruslav didn't want to fight back but had no choice. So, all of them did so while being careful not to inflict any of the Snow Vamzoms, who also rode on magical snow mobiles, more pain.
So, this encounter turned into a clash on the snowy area with pine trees around them and stone walls on one side. And then, Marcellus, who ran to the scene when being informed of the arrival of the group from Ruslav by some of his soldiers, climbed a pine tree and aimed his sniper rifle at Basilio and shot him with it because he thinks he is a threat to him and his army.
"Ah!" Basilio responded as he collapsed to the snowy ground while bleeding from his mouth and wound on his chest.
"Sir!" Artem was alerted right away and went to his aid.
Marcellus then realized his mistake when Artem called Basilio "sir" at that moment.
So, he came down from the tree branch, halted the misunderstanding clash, and immediately went to Basilio's aid while admitting his mistake and apologizing to him and his group.
"Wait, you did that?" Ormoc said to him back.
"Y-Yes, so sorry about that!" Marcellus replied back frantically while applying pressure on Basilio's wound. "It's just standard protocol whenever we face any outsider that could be a potential threat to us."
Ormoc and the others around him then accepted it, and the battle stopped with Basilio being treated for his wound.
Luckily, thanks to his Short-Term Survivor Ability, Basilio survived and woke up an hour after the battle, much to the shock of both sides. All of them are in a medical ward in the headquarters of the base of the Snow Vamzoms.
"Amazing!" Marcellus commented.
"That's so quick!" Helena added.
Ormoc and Paulina then went to Basilio and asked him if he was alright.
"Yeah, I am…" Basilio answered back while glancing at them.
"Are you sure about that?" Paulina asked back.
Basilio then nodded. "Yes, I don't feel any pain at all."
"Woah, how?" Marcellus interjected. "That sniper shot would've been lethal to you!"
"Wait, shot?"
Artem then came forward. "Yes, this Snow Vamzom had shot you with a sniper rifle while we were clashing with his soldiers."
Basilio then remembered that time, including the moment when he got shot. After that flashback, Basilio said to everyone in the room. "Oh…now I remember…"
"Yes," Marcellus responded back with mixed feelings of shame and embarrassment. "We are so, so sorry!"
Some of his soldiers then apologized with their leader.
"I-It's okay!" Basilio tried to calm their frantic apologies.
"Yes, it's okay, sir," Ormoc added.
