"Hey there," Muhan replied to Chae-won's greeting.
Chae-won's expression turned slightly serious. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" she asked.
Before Muhan could respond, Mi-cha intervened, placing her hand on his chest. Her eyes glowed with a soft, pinkish-purple light as she spoke, her beauty radiant and captivating.
"What are you trying to do?" Mi-cha asked Chae-won, her voice firm but calm.
Chae-won's face fell, and she looked taken aback by Mi-cha's sudden intervention. Her eyes flashed with anger, but she didn't say a word. Instead, she turned around and walked away, leaving Muhan looking confused and unsure of what was happening.
Chae-min, Muhan's mother, turned to Mi-cha and asked, "What sect are you from, sweetie?"
Muhan's eyes lit up with curiosity. "Oh yeah, I never really asked her that," he admitted.
Mi-cha's eyes widened, knowing she had to reveal her true affiliation. She took a deep breath and whispered, "I'm a Pjeonjaeham."
Chae-min raised an eyebrow, looking at her son. "What? Like father, like son, you never got to know her well? And she's your girlfriend?" she teased.
Mi-cha's eyes dropped, and she felt a pang of sadness. She thought to herself that now that Muhan knew she was from the Pjeonjaeham sect, the rival sect of Jonjae, they could never be together.
But just as Mi-cha was feeling down, Muhan gently raised her head, his eyes sparkling with affection. "You never told me you're a Pjeonjaeham," he said, "but who cares?"
Mi-cha's eyes widened in surprise, and she searched Muhan's face for any sign of rejection or disappointment. But all she saw was his genuine smile and sparkling eyes.
"Who cares?" Mi-cha repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.
Muhan nodded, his smile growing wider. "Yeah, who cares? You're still the same Mi-cha I know and love."
Mi-cha's heart skipped a beat at Muhan's words. She felt a wave of relief wash over her, followed by a deep sense of gratitude. She threw her arms around Muhan's neck, hugging him tightly.
"Thank you, Muhan," she whispered, her voice muffled against his shoulder.
Muhan wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "You don't have to thank me, Mi-cha. I love you for who you are, not for your sect or family."
Chae-min and Han, Muhan's parents, exchanged a warm smile, happy to see their son and Mi-cha so in love. Ji-hoon, Jin-ho, and Kim, who were watching from the sidelines, grinned at each other, relieved that the drama had passed.
Just then, Professor Ae-cha's voice echoed through the hall, announcing the start of the graduation party. The students cheered, and the hall erupted into a joyful chaos.
As the party began, Muhan and Mi-cha shared a tender kiss, their love stronger than ever.
The party was in full swing, with music blasting and students laughing and chatting. Muhan and Mi-cha danced together, their bodies swaying to the rhythm.
As they danced, Muhan leaned in and whispered in Mi-cha's ear, "I'm glad we made it through high school together."
Mi-cha smiled and replied, "Me too. I couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend."
Muhan's eyes sparkled with happiness, and he pulled Mi-cha closer. They shared a romantic slow dance, lost in their own little world.
Meanwhile, Ji-hoon, Jin-ho, and Kim were having their own fun, joking and teasing each other. Soo-ah and Chae-won were also dancing together, although Chae-won still looked a bit sulky after her earlier encounter with Mi-cha.
As the night wore on, the party showed no signs of slowing down. Muhan and Mi-cha took a break from dancing and walked outside, enjoying the cool night air.
They sat down on a bench, and Muhan turned to Mi-cha with a serious expression. "Mi-cha, I've been thinking… what do you want to do after high school?"
Mi-cha looked at him thoughtfully. "I'm not sure. What about you?"
Muhan smiled. "I was thinking of traveling, seeing the world. And I'd love for you to come with me."
Mi-cha's eyes sparkled with excitement. "That sounds amazing. I'd love to travel with you."
As they sat there, making plans for their future, the night air was filled with the sound of laughter and music from the party. It was a night that Muhan and Mi-cha would never forget.
