The day of the graduation ceremony for the 3rd-year students of Wysteria Academy had finally arrived. The students were seated in the hall, dressed in their respective uniforms. The girls wore white short white skimpy gown with blue vertical stripes, high black stockings, black hill shoes, and black hand gloves. The boys, on the other hand, wore black long-sleeved shirts, white suits, and black trousers with shoes of their choice.
Ji-hoon, Jin-woo, Jin-ho, and Kim were seated in the boys' column. Jin-woo glanced around, searching for Muhan, but he was nowhere to be found in the boys' column or the girls' column, where he usually would have been surrounded by admiring girls.
Mi-cha, Soo-ah, and Chae-won were seated on the opposite side, in the girls' column. Meanwhile, Muhan was sitting in his dorm, already dressed in his school uniform, waiting for his parents to arrive. The graduation ceremony was a special event for both parents and students.
Muhan muttered to himself, feeling a hint of boredom, "They're late." Suddenly, his parents knocked on the door. As he opened it, Han asked, "Is Muhan here?" Chae-min, Muhan's mother, exclaimed, "Yeah, he doesn't look like Muhan, though. He's handsome and tall!" Her face blushed at the sight of her son.
Muhan held his mother's wrist and said, "Mom, we're already late. No time for jokes." He dragged her to the auditorium, where the graduation ceremony was taking place. Inside, Professor Bora, the new principal, was giving a speech, advising the students that they still had a long way to go after graduating from Wysteria Academy High School.
As Muhan and his parents entered the hall, the students turned back to look at them. One of the girls who had a crush on Muhan shouted, "It's Muhan!" The hall was filled with giggles and squeals from the girls' column. Mi-cha turned back and smiled, saying, "Finally." Soo-ah twisted her hair with her finger, gazing at Muhan.
Chae-min, Muhan's mother, whispered to Han, Muhan's father, "Seems that our boy is popular among the girls." Han replied, "He inherited his charm from his father, of course." Chae-min nodded in agreement, "That's right." Muhan's parents made their way to the parents' column, while Muhan proceeded to sit at the boys' column, his hands tucked in his pocket.
Professor Bora, who was still on stage giving her speech, blushed at the sight of Muhan. She, too, had a big crush on him. As Muhan sat down near Jin-woo at the front seat of the boys' column, Jin-woo whispered to him, "Way to make a big entrance."
Ji-hoon tapped Muhan on the back from his seat behind, saying, "Finally, we're graduating, aren't you excited?" He smiled, and Muhan returned a soft smile. Muhan's mind flashed back to his intense battles with See-hoo and Jin-ho, reminding him of how far he had come.
As Professor Bora continued her speech, Muhan couldn't help but notice her new hairstyle, which was unusual for her. When she caught him staring, she blushed brightly and began talking gibberish, eventually walking off the stage. The students were left bewildered, wondering what had just happened.
The ceremony proceeded with students being called on stage individually to receive their medals and certificates, which were digital awards stored in the system's Achievement Section. Finally, Professor Ae-cha announced the Top 10 students, including Kim, Jin-ho, Jin-woo, Ji-hoon, Soo-ah, Mi-cha, and lastly, Muhan.
As soon as Muhan's name was called, the audience erupted into applause. A holographic display appeared on stage, showcasing the various moments Muhan had saved the school. Muhan made his way to the stage to deliver his speech.
As he stood at the podium, his eyes glowed dimly with a neon-lit blue light. He gazed out at the girls' column, and some of them whispered to themselves, "I wish he was my boyfriend. He's so handsome." Muhan's eyes met Mi-cha's, who was standing to his right.
"Thank you, everyone," Muhan began, "especially my classmates for welcoming me when I first came to Wysteria Academy. You all contributed to the hard work of the school. To all the professors, thank you for tutoring us. Mom and Dad, thank you for being there to listen to me and support me. I wouldn't have made it without you guys."
Han and Chae-min, Muhan's parents, were overcome with emotion, tears streaming down their faces as they whispered, "He's all grown up." Muhan continued his speech, turning to Mi-cha. "And Mi-cha, thank you for always worrying about me and being with me."
Mi-cha's face flushed as she smiled, saying, "Muhan… thank you too."
As Muhan smiled back at Mi-cha, the moment between them intensified, and the world around them seemed to fade away. After the graduation ceremony, Muhan held Mi-cha's hand as he introduced her to his parents.
"Mom, Dad, this is Mi-cha," Muhan said, but before he could finish, Chae-min interrupted, her eyes shining with excitement.
"My future daughter-in-law!" Chae-min exclaimed. "Muhan, you two are a perfect match. You're handsome, she's beautiful. Look at her pretty face and smooth skin, not to mention her eyes – her iris is pink and somehow purple."
Han, Muhan's father, nodded in agreement. "My daughter-in-law is right for my son!"
Muhan chuckled, noticing Mi-cha's embarrassed expression. "Dad, Mom, you're freaking her out. Look at how red her face is."
As they turned to look at Mi-cha, they saw that her face was indeed flushed bright red, and she was gazing downward, trying to compose herself.
Just then, Chae-won, the Lycan, who had a crush on Muhan, interrupted their conversation. She tapped Muhan on the shoulder, saying, "Hi Muhan!" as she blushed slightly, playing with a strand of her hair.
