"Zephyr! What a surprise!" Luna Vilka's face lit up as she stood to welcome her son.
It was the early hours of the morning, and Zephyr had just finished his early morning exercise and his intense training.
He had stopped at the Silveren, where he knew his mother would be, preparing the sacred water for the River Day celebrations. Vilka was working with the omegas assigned to carry out this special duty with her.
Now, the Luna walked away from the riverbank toward Alpha Zephyr. The flowing ends of her white robes moved over the wet sand, making her look glorious. Her shoulder-length ebony hair was pulled into a messy bun that made her look younger than she was.
Even with how early she had woken up and with how busy she seemed, the Luna still exuded a strong aura of elegance.
"It's so great to see you," she said happily, taking Zephyr's hands in hers as they both met.
She placed a kiss on each of his cheeks and then cupped his face. "How are you?"
