By the end of the day, Blaize had stopped at both Zephyr's study and his bedroom, but he wasn't in either. Exhausted, she made her way toward her own room. The day had been long, spent sorting different fabrics , but she still needed to speak with him about an urgent matter.
Maybetomorrow, she thought, turning the corner that led to her room. She could already imagine telling the omegas to prepare a warm, soothing bath.
"Lady Blaize."
Blaize gasped in shock, then relaxed when she saw Alma standing close by. Alma offered an apologetic smile and a respectful bow. "I'm sorry for the scare, My lady. Your mother has asked you to join her for dinner immediately. I've been waiting for you."
Blaize frowned. She had thought she would skip dinner tonight because of how tired she was, but Alma's expression made it clear she wouldn't take no for an answer.
"O-okay," Blaize said.
