"I thought you'd already fled in terror with your beloved people. Well, it's good—as I've longed to wipe out every last Draconis! You've ruined my pleasure anyway. I was this close to killing that useless dragon hatchling!"
Ares glared at Veldrin. The demon fire Veldrin unleashed stirred his obsidian hair and whipping in the hot gusts.
Ares deadpanned. "Will you surrender yourself, or must I use cruel means to end you?!"
Veldrin barked bitterly, as a madman taunting his foe. His maniac face unnaturally as he clapped his hands in sarcastic rhythm. Slowly, he descended, landing with eerie grace upon the shattered capital of Venzor.
The ruined lands burned entirely in the blaze of his own revenge of demonic power. "Oh, now I'm soterrify! How horrific!"
