"So you knew?" Ash briefly glanced at her before turning to the road. She was easy to read. The way she got scared as soon as he mentioned the matter confirmed that she was already well aware of the truth. But the last thing he wanted now was for her to fear him. Hence, he decided to say, "It was Eros." He purposefully pushed his brother under the bus. "He went on to investigate you even though Sam and I forbade him from doing so"
Elia pursed her lips. "Should I consider this a breach of contract?"
Ash sighed, "You have something else to worry about, Elia. What were you thinking, having a halfbreed as your roommate?''
