Angelica finished her meal. The maid had not returned yet. Angelica did not mind. She appreciated the silence and decided to cherish it. It seemed that there was always one maid or another, or servant or another that walked in hours ago.
She did not like it when too many people were in a room. She stood up and walked to the window. She drew back the curtain and the chilly wind blew. She could see it was snowing yet again.
It was only now that she realized how high Ian's room was from the ground. The window was high above the ground. There were about six other floors below it.
Angelica could not help but think about someone accidentally falling out the window. They would undeniably fall and be unable to survive such a terrifying fall. Considering that the window was wide open, she took a step back.
