Reph's attack, [Greater Brilliance], was one of his few spells that he could only achieve under specific conditions: how much mana he had left and the value of things he had with him. Without either of the two, an attack as he had just performed would've been impossible, no matter how much he forced it.
After Reph was swallowed by his reflected attack, the light beam continued onward, vaporising everything it came into contact with. And when it finally dissipated, it had already carved a hole through the entire Darkhound mansion.
What the attack had left behind was a chaotic mess of molten rubble and hot air. If an ordinary person were to stand in this mess, they would find themselves unable to last more than a few seconds before needing to retreat to somewhere cooler.
Fortunately.
C-crack.
Mages weren't ordinary people.
KSHH!
