Meanwhile, Back at the hotel, Kairi wakes from her slumber. While getting out of bed, her head rang as a familiar voice started speaking inside her mind. Slowly Kairi started to put her clothes on while the voice shook her to the core. Images started flashing through her mind. Back during the end of high school, Kairi and Nova promised each other that they would meet again and be happy together, but... Not long after that, Kairi died in a horrific car crash. A few years passed, and her eyes awoke to her body being stitched back together. Unable to speak, Kairi saw a woman above her; that person was Maria. Once the images stopped, Kairi knew that Maria was calling to her. A saddened look went across Kairi's face as she gathered her things in quick succession. Once she finished gathering everything, Kairi walked over to a sleeping nova. She opened Nova's hand and placed a letter inside it, but then Nova grabbed Kairi, and the area around her changed. The air was very thick as Kairi stood in a field of flowers. While looking around, she realised the place she was standing was made out of pure magic. Kairi started walking up the flower field until she reached the top of the hill. In the distance a massive amount of mana was heading towards Kairi's direction. She had a dumbfounded expression on her face as she saw Nova walking towards her duration. As Nova stood directly in front of Kairi with her spear in hand, Nova's old jumper was hanging off the top of the spear. A brush of cold air hit Kairi as she looked directly into Nova's cold eyes. Kairi said, "Nova, there's something I must tell…" Before she could finish, Nova walked past her and nodded her head. Kairi was confused as she said, "Are you not even going to say goodbye?" Nova stopped in her tracks before saying, "Goodbye? "What's the point in that?" Kairi began to get frustrated, grabbing Nova by the arms and forcing her to drop the spear. Tears started coming down Kairi's face before saying, "I must leave you, Nova. I don't want to, but if I stay here, you're going to be in danger." The silent Nova didn't respond to Kairi as she took a few steps back and said, "Do you even care?" Nova laughed while saying, "Why should I? I don't remember much about you. I started a new one; half my mind is clouded, and I have no intention of removing it." Kairi stood there as she turned around and started running off in the distance until she returned to the normal world. The tears endlessly came down Kairi's face before slicing open a window and heading towards Maria at top speed. Nicole and Maria were still stuck in their endless loop until Kairi shattered the spell from the outside. As Nicole turned her head, Kairi placed her hand on the ground and destroyed the ground beneath her. Nicole fell into a deep pit before multiple buildings started covering the entrance, blocking Nicole's escape. Maria smiled at Kairi while saying, "It's good to see you, Kairi. I'm glad you chose to come back to me." The silent Kairi stood next to Maria as a crimson teardrop hit the floor. Back at the hotel, Jade quietly got ready as Testarossa was fast asleep. Once she was geared up, Jade headed towards the battle.
