The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

Meanwhile, in the shadow realm, Grey smirked as he lifted his hand and made a slashing motion in the air in front of him.

Grey Dawn had none. He was weak, useless, magicless and most importantly… a cripple in terms of magic usage.

Not until an accident where he almost brushed past death.

Summoned by a celestial, the seal placed on his core was shattered and there he was appraised.

Grey found out not only will he wield magic, he would come to become the strongest mage in existence with five affinities.

Confident, he enrolled at Lunaria academy. One of the four great magical academies.

Here, he meets awesome mages, forged bonds and most especially, rivalries.

With his squad, Grey blitzed through enemies… portal breaks, dungeons, bandits, kingdom invasion, he was clearing them all.

But it wasn't enough.

The foe the world was up against were not weak by any means. The Otherworlders!

Destroyers of planets, conquerors of worlds. Beings with destructive powers and backing.

These were the kind of foes he was up against.

'Damn it! Nothing is working at all. Even his breakthrough—as impressive as it is—couldn't even do anything to Orion. That is the kind of monster we are up against. Is there even any hope left?' Fenrir wondered inwardly as he stared down at his trembling hands.


Throughout the time he had spent watching the cataclysmic clash, he had regained a tiny bit of his mana.


 It was a minuscule amount, a mere pittance that couldn't even aid him in serving as a momentary distraction against Orion. 


If he attempted to join the fray right now, he would be obliterated within a fraction of a second. 


The killing blow might not even come from Orion, but rather from a residual attack launched by Grey.


At this moment, it seemed like the Supreme Magus was entirely in the zone, a whirlwind of arcane fury that could accidentally harm anyone who wasn't strong enough to protect themselves.
