Stomping his feet firmly on the stone ground, jagged streaks of lightning raced toward Bale.
In a desperate response, the Town Lord utilized his fire magic to propel himself upward, jumping away just in time to evade the electrical discharge.
"Fire magic! Fire Stars!" Bale roared as several burning projectiles made of concentrated flame manifested in the air.
They streaked toward Grey, looking like falling meteors about to crash into him.
"Earth magic! Earth Wall!" Grey countered.
A thick barrier of solid stone surged from the floor to shield him, but when the fire stars impacted the surface, the wall shattered under the explosive force, sending jagged shards of rock flying in every direction.
However, Grey was no longer behind the wreckage.
He vanished in a blur of motion and reappeared directly behind Bale.
With his hands still crackling with raw energy, he unleashed a powerful lightning-enhanced punch.
