Chapter 158 - after the Thyriatrix family side meeting

As Lyriath and I walked away from the group, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. We were finally going to explore and have some adventures together, just the two of us.

"Hey, Lyriath, where do you want to go first?" I asked, looking at my brother with a grin.

Lyriath thought for a moment before responding, "I heard there's a hidden waterfall not too far from here. Want to check it out?"

I nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, that sounds awesome!"

We set off towards the waterfall, our footsteps quiet on the forest floor. As we walked, I couldn't help but think about the events of the day. Meeting Aunt Lyrixaera and Uncle Valthorn had been a great experience, and I was glad that everything had worked out with Rhunakor.

When we finally reached the waterfall, I was taken aback by its beauty. The water cascaded down a rocky cliff, creating a misty veil that surrounded us.

"Wow, this is amazing!" I exclaimed, feeling a sense of wonder.

Lyriath smiled, his eyes shining with excitement. "I told you it was cool! Let's go closer and check it out."

We walked closer to the waterfall, feeling the cool mist on our scales. I reached out a hand, letting the water flow over my fingers.

As we explored the waterfall, I realized that this was exactly what I needed – a chance to relax and have fun with my brother. The stress and anxiety of the day melted away, replaced by a sense of joy and contentment.

After a while, Lyriath and I decided to take a break and sit down on a nearby rock. We watched the waterfall, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

"Hey, Tharros?" Lyriath said, turning to me with a curious expression.

"Yeah?" I replied, looking at him with interest.

"Do you think we'll ever get to go on more adventures like this?" Lyriath asked, his voice filled with hope.

I smiled, feeling a sense of optimism. "I think we will, Lyriath. We have a big family, and there are always going to be new things to discover and explore."

Lyriath nodded, a smile spreading across his face. "Yeah, you're right. I'm excited to see what the future holds."

As we sat there, watching the waterfall, I felt grateful for my family and the adventures we shared. I knew that no matter what lay ahead, I would always have Lyriath by my side, and together, we would face whatever came our way.

The sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the forest. Lyriath and I reluctantly stood up, knowing it was time to head back.

As we walked back to the gathering, I felt a sense of peace and happiness. Today had been a great day, and I was grateful for the time spent with my family and brother.

When we returned, the gathering was still in full swing. Aunt Lyrixaera caught my eye and smiled, beckoning me over.

"Tharros, I was thinking," she said, her voice filled with excitement. "Why don't you come and visit me soon? We can work on your light element together."

I nodded eagerly, feeling a sense of enthusiasm. "That sounds great, Aunt Lyrixaera! I'd love to learn more about my elements."

Aunt Lyrixaera smiled, her eyes shining with warmth. "I'll talk to your parents and arrange a time that works for everyone. I'm looking forward to it, Tharros."

As I walked away, I felt a sense of anticipation and excitement. I knew that with Aunt Lyrixaera's help, I would be able to improve my light element and become an even more powerful dragon.

The day drew to a close, and the gathering began to disperse. As I said my goodbyes and thanked everyone for coming, I felt grateful for the love and support of my family.

As we flew back home, I looked over at Lyriath and smiled. "That was a great day, bro."

Lyriath grinned back at me. "Definitely. Can't wait for the next adventure."

I chuckled, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. With my family and Lyriath by my side, I knew that anything was possible.

Hours later, father albino scales glimmer, and he landed and folded his wings.

I ran towards him and gave his right front leg a hug, and Father smiled. "Hello to you too, Tharros!"

I grinned, feeling happy to see Father return. "Hi, Father! How was your day?" I asked, still hugging his leg.

Father chuckled and gently patted my head with his claw. "It was good, Tharros. I had some interesting conversations with the other dragons. But I'm glad to be back home with you."

I smiled, feeling content and safe with Father's presence. "I'm glad you're back too, Father. I missed you."

Father smiled back at me, his eyes warm with affection. "I missed you too, Tharros. How was your day with your cousins and aunts and uncles?"

I launched into a enthusiastic retelling of my adventures, telling Father all about meeting Aunt Lyrixaera and Uncle Valthorn, and our trip to the waterfall with Lyriath. Father listened attentively, asking questions and making supportive noises as I spoke.

As I finished my story, Father nodded thoughtfully. "It sounds like you had a great time, Tharros. I'm glad you got to spend time with your family and make some new memories."

I nodded, feeling happy and fulfilled. "Yeah, it was a great day, Father. Thanks for being there for me."

Father smiled, his expression softening. "Always, Tharros. I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

I ask, "How were your 6 hours of adventures?!" Father answered."Find it been a while. I have adventures since I have to do parenting duties!"

I giggled at Father's response, feeling a mix of amusement and guilt. "Sorry, Father. I didn't mean to keep you from having adventures."

Father chuckled and ruffled my hair gently. "Don't apologize, Tharros. Being a parent is the best adventure of all. Watching you grow and learn new things is the greatest joy I could ask for."

I smiled, feeling happy and loved. "I'm glad you're happy, Father. I love you too."

Father smiled back, his eyes shining with warmth. "I love you too, Tharros. More than anything in the world."

Mother came and said, "Come one, Tharros, time to eat! It your favorite! Starlight steak!" My eyes widened my wolf-fox ears perked up, and I let go of Father from my hug to eat.

Pov Aetherius

I watched as Tharros's eyes lit up at the mention of his favorite food, Starlight steak. His enthusiasm was infectious, and I couldn't help but smile as he eagerly let go of our hug to head towards the dining area.

"Ah, Starlight steak, his favorite," I said to my mate, Thyriatrix, as we followed Tharros. "He's certainly excited about it."

Thyriatrix chuckled and nodded. "Yes, he loves that dish. I'm glad we could make it for him tonight."

I wrapped my arm around Thyriatrix's shoulders, feeling grateful for the loving family we had built together. "Me too, my love. Me too. Tharros is such a happy dragon when he's surrounded by the people and things he loves."

As we sat down to eat with Tharros, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. Life as a dragon parent was never dull, but moments like these made it all worthwhile.

As we sat down to eat, Tharros dug into his Starlight steak with gusto, savoring each bite with delight. I watched him, my albino scales glistening in the soft light of the dining area. Thyriatrix, with her beautiful light green scales, smiled at me, and I could sense her happiness at seeing our son so joyful.

The aroma of the steak filled the air, and Tharros's enthusiasm was contagious. I couldn't help but chuckle at his antics, feeling grateful for this moment of family bonding.

Thyriatrix reached out and gently stroked Tharros's head, her claws gleaming in the light. "Enjoy your meal, dear one," she said, her voice warm and loving.

Tharros nodded, his mouth full, and continued to eat with gusto. I smiled, feeling a sense of pride and contentment at seeing my family happy and together.

As we ate, the sound of clinking silverware and happy chatter filled the air, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. It was moments like these that I cherished, surrounded by the ones I loved.

As we finished our meal, I leaned back in my chair, feeling content and full. Tharros, still enthusiastic about his Starlight steak, began to tell us about his adventures with Lyriath, and the waterfall they had discovered.

Thyriatrix listened intently, her light green scales glistening in the soft light of the dining area. I smiled, watching our son's face light up as he recounted his experiences.

As Tharros finished his story, I nodded thoughtfully. "It sounds like you had a great time, Tharros. I'm glad you and Lyriath are getting along so well."

Thyriatrix nodded in agreement. "Yes, it's wonderful to see you and your siblings having so much fun together. You're all growing up to be such amazing young dragons."

I glanced at our other children, who were all engaged in their own activities. Lyriath was busy reading a book, while Vyraxys and Nyxoria were playing a game of strategy. Lyrixa was practicing her elemental control, and Kaidorix was watching her with interest. Kieraxys and Niamon were playing with some toys, laughing and having a great time.

As I watched my children, I felt a sense of pride and gratitude. Being a parent was a challenging but rewarding experience, and I was grateful to have Thyriatrix by my side to share in the joys and struggles of raising our family.

"Let's have a family bonding session soon," I suggested to Thyriatrix. "Maybe we can plan a trip to the mountains or the beach."

Thyriatrix smiled, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "That sounds like a great idea, Aetherius. I'll start making plans."

I smiled back at her, feeling happy and content. Life as a dragon parent was never dull, but moments like these made it all worthwhile.

I look at our hatchlings, and Tharros was nowhere to be found, and I ask Kaidorix, "Where is Tharros?!"

Kaidorix, using his snout to point above me, I look up and see Tharros stuck on the sealing of the cave den again from his horns.

I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of Tharros stuck to the ceiling of the cave den, his horns tangled in the sticky substance. "Tharros, how did you manage to get stuck again?" I asked, shaking my head in amusement.

Tharros looked down at me, his face sheepish. "I don't know, Father. I was just trying to climb up and see what was up there."

I walked over to Tharros and gently began to work on freeing him from the sticky substance. "Well, let's get you unstuck and then we can figure out a way to avoid this happening again, okay?"

As I worked on freeing Tharros, I couldn't help but think about how much he loved to explore and get into mischief. It was a trait that I both admired and worried about, as it could sometimes get him into trouble.

Once Tharros was finally free, he looked up at me with a relieved expression. "Thanks, Father. I'm sorry about getting stuck again."

I smiled and ruffled his silver scales. "It's okay, Tharros. I'm just glad you're safe. Let's be more careful next time, okay?"

Tharros nodded, looking a bit embarrassed but also relieved. "Okay, Father. I'll try to be more careful."

I smiled and patted him on the head. "I know you will, Tharros. You're a smart dragon. Now, let's go join the others and see what they're up to."

Tharros nodded and followed me as I led him back to the main area of the cave den. As we walked, I couldn't help but think about how much Tharros had grown and developed over the past few months. He was becoming more confident and independent, and it was wonderful to see.

When we arrived back at the main area, Thyriatrix looked up and smiled. "Ah, Tharros! I see you managed to get stuck again."

Tharros looked sheepish, but Thyriatrix just chuckled and shook her head. "Don't worry, dear. We've all been there at some point or another."

The other hatchlings giggled and teased Tharros good-naturedly, and I couldn't help but smile at the sight of my family enjoying each other's company. It was moments like these that I cherished, and I was grateful to be a part of such a loving and supportive family.

As the evening wore on, we decided to have a family game night. Thyriatrix pulled out a board game that she had designed specifically for our family, and we all gathered around to play.

The game was a fun challenge, requiring strategy and teamwork. Tharros and Lyriath worked together, using their problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles. Vyraxys and Nyxoria formed a formidable team, using their competitive spirits to drive them to victory. And Lyrixa and Kaidorix worked together, using their creativity to find innovative solutions.

Kieraxys and Niamon, being the youngest, were given a special role in the game. They were the "wild cards," and their unpredictable actions added an extra layer of excitement to the game.

As we played, the cave den was filled with laughter and chatter. It was a wonderful bonding experience, and I was grateful to be spending quality time with my family.

In the end, Tharros and Lyriath emerged as the winners, much to their delight. We all cheered and congratulated them, and Thyriatrix handed out prizes in the form of treats and praise.

As the night drew to a close, we all snuggled up together, feeling happy and content. It had been a wonderful evening, and I was grateful for the love and companionship of my family.

I unfolded my wings for Tharros since it kept him calm and safe and comfortable all the time and Tharros did.

As Tharros snuggled into the warmth and security of my wings, I could feel his tension melt away. He wrapped his claws around my scales, holding onto me tightly as he let out a contented sigh.

I wrapped my wings around him, feeling a sense of peace and protection wash over me. This was what it meant to be a parent, I thought - to provide comfort and security to your child, to be their safe haven in times of need.

Tharros's breathing slowed, and I knew he was drifting off to sleep. I smiled, feeling a deep love and affection for my little one. As I held him close, I knew that I would always be here for him, to protect and care for him, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

Thyriatrix smiled at me, her eyes shining with warmth and understanding. She knew exactly what I was feeling, and she felt the same way. We were a team, a partnership, and together we would raise our children to be strong, confident, and loving dragons.

As Tharros drifted off to sleep, I gently stroked his silver scales, feeling a deep sense of contentment. Thyriatrix leaned over and kissed my cheek, her light green scales glinting in the soft light of the cave den.

"I think it's time for bed, don't you?" she whispered, smiling at me.

I nodded, carefully getting up with Tharros still wrapped in my wings. Thyriatrix followed me, and together we made our way to the nesting chamber.

We settled in for the night, our children snuggled up around us, their gentle snores and rustling scales filling the air. I looked over at Thyriatrix, feeling grateful for this moment of peace and tranquility.

"Thank you for another wonderful day," I whispered, smiling at her.

Thyriatrix smiled back, her eyes shining with love. "I love you, Aetherius."

"I love you too, Thyriatrix," I replied, feeling my heart full of joy and contentment.

With our family safe and sound around us, we drifted off to sleep, the soft glow of the cave den's luminescent rocks illuminating our peaceful slumber.
