"But" the voice controlling the faceless body made that very body slightly twitch as it reigned int he conversation once more and changed the trajectory, "I already know that you will have a few more questions, won't you?" it resounded once more, deep within everywhere, within the deepest secrets Avere had once experienced, within the thoughts one normally did not even fully acknowledge, those that were so ashaming one would never tell them to the outside.
He took a deep breath, sending it out after a second, and repeated that trick a few times calming himself down as the voice seemed to send out a presence of patience and interest in what he was going to ask, despite obviously already knowing everything he would say, perhaps even waiting with some kind of arrogant grin, though he didn't truly think so.
"Who was the cause for the fall of ehetria?" he asked, not really expecting much.
"That is actually quite the interesting question, because, quite frankly, I am not sure." the voice answer, throwing Avere into far greater confusion than he had been trapped within before, causing him to talk quite a bit louder, even more angry, not that the great pillar would really mind.
"Calm down for now." it said, and he had calmed down all over.
"To tell you the truth, that just encases it to a few dozen possible doers after all, not many would be able to deter the knowledge of a great pillar, and of those few that would do so, barely any would involve themselves, and even fewer would need any kind of monsters to end ehetria, most quite literally just having to do as much as, well, as nothing really."
"What do you mean by.. nothing..?"
"If I wanted someone gone they would be gone, if I wanted a world gone they would be gone, the same goes for a universe, perhaps even a multiverse, and much more, that's just how it works...
There is no discussion, there is no trying to survive, if I want something to be gone they are gone, because, to be frank, can something even exist if there is nobody to ever experience it, if it can not even interact with the real world, if the mind of a being can not even contact itself?" the voice said, giving Avere quite a bit of fear into his heart.
"On the other hand I could of course also just erase them from existence permanently, or just kill them instead of removing them from experiencing or being experienced, it would not be difficult either way..." the voice added on to the previous terrifying knowledge Avere had just learned.
"But still, that makes it that only a few would require, or even just choose to use such methods, with that we can already remove some suspects." he continued, being interjected by a question uttered by Avere.
"In form of hiding themselves we can remove all lesser pantheons and all solo gods aside from a few rare ones that have made contracts with the great pillar of absence before becoming gods, those would only be detectable by absence itself." they continued the explanation, now counting who was already removed.
"We can detect the most powerful beings because, well, why would they do it?" he said.
"Who are the most powerful?" asked Avere quickly.
"The child and the old man are without a doubt the most powerful, after them probably the corpses of the previous, though I am not sure you would be able to comprehend what those are." he said, adding it only to the side and quickly rushing to continue with the process of elimination.
"We can eliminate a few pillars because they simply do not have it within their nature, such as stagnation, as dust, as history, and a few others, but really, all of the great pillars would most likely not do such a thing, and if they did, then there would be no real reason to hide it from others."
"Then we are left with the pillars serving under absence, they all inherit that annoying quality of that which is not, that being the fact that they are only noticed when they want to be, though that often just leads to them being forgotten if I might be honest, but those are most likely not guilty either, because if they were, then ehetria would have been gone instantly, devoured into nothingness, never truly having been in the first place."
"After that we have the remaining judges, powerful, and under order of the old man untraceable and hard to find within history, even the great pillar of history having slight troubles with finding them, but if they had been it then there would have been signs of their arrival and they don't really move using monsters and such obvious attacks." the voice continued on and on, as if to show how much Avere did not yet know.
"Then we have the Archetypes" the voice said, with Avere finally hearing somethign he had found out about already, be it recently, "there are many archetypes that might be able to conceal, such as the hider, the concealer, the mysterious, the veiled, and many more, then there would be many that fit the criteria of the destruction that befell ehetria, such as the strategist, the general, the destroyer, the warmonger, the murderer, the griefer even... but they can not conceal and destroy at once... and to be even more honest, those that conceal and those that destroy aren't really fans of each other, so they don't really work together."
"Finally, we have the golden pantheon, those under the traitorous child of the child, under the great pillar of dominion, the eleventh, the child born of a baby, the king of kings, the queen of queens, the god of gods..." the voice paused for a moment.
"Honestly, he is probably the most likely suspect out of all, being that he is very keen on appealing to the masses of gods he commands, and would be more than willing to conceal something like this, especially since propaganda and the art of hiding in plain sight is one of the main skills he has used to annoy us since the very beginning of all..." the voice said, showing no real signs of stopping, intent on uttering one last possibility.
"But if it was not that, then it might have been a suouis coin, that would make the list of suspects all of the above and some more, such as the hunters, the previous ones, the survivors of the end, the veiled one, and some more I did not yet tell you about." it added on, emphasizing the part of the suouis coins, as if wanting Avere to ask about that.
