Chapter 30 - Green & Green

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… AND GODS… AND WHATEVER ELSE IS WATCHING—IT'S TIME FOR MATCH ELEVEN! FROM TIMELINE ELEVEN, THE BIO-ANDROID NIGHTMARE, THE PERFECT WARRIOR… PERRRRRFECT CELL! AND FROM TIMELINE SEVEN, THE ULTIMATE NAMEKIAN FUSION, THE WARRIOR OF MILLIONS—GAAAAAST!!"

Cell stepped forward with the elegance of a predator who already knew the taste of victory. His green and black carapace gleamed under the cosmic lights, purple accents glowing faintly like veins pulsing with divine energy. He walked with his arms behind his back, chin high, a faint smirk curling on his lips.

**Cell (thinking):**

*Gast… The so-called pinnacle of Namekian evolution. Let's see if that title means anything when perfection stands across from you.*

On the opposite side, Gast moved silently. His massive frame exuded raw serenity, his white Namekian robes flowing behind him like the cloth of some divine monk-warrior. His antennae twitched slightly, sensing the surge of murderous confidence radiating from Cell. His golden eyes, ancient and calm, locked on the bio-android without blinking.

**Gast (thinking):**

*He reeks of arrogance… but his energy—yes, it's unlike anything I've felt. Frieza. Saiyan. Namekian… all swirling in one vessel. This will not be simple.*

As the two stopped at the center, the ground beneath their feet cracked, unable to handle the pressure of their sheer ki. The crowd's murmurs grew louder.

**Krillin (Timeline 9)** gripped the edge of his seat, sweating bullets.

"Cell..i Will never forgive you, Kill him Gast!!"

**Launch** leaned back, arms crossed, trying to play it cool but her lips trembled.

"Feeling it? Krillin, I feel like my bones are vibrating. Someone tell me why we're even here!"

**Yamcha** whistled nervously.

"They could blow up this whole arena just by breathing harder…"

On the other side, **Shun (Timeline 8)** narrowed his eyes, his blue bio-armor reflecting the stage lights.

"Tch. Pathetic Namekian thinks he can stand against That? Cell will crush him."

**Dodoria** slapped his massive thigh and laughed.

"Yeah! Show him how the Frieza bloodline rolls, Cell!"

**Ginyu**, however, was pale. His scouter shattered just by detecting the base ki output.

"Uh… guys? This… this isn't the same Cell we fought… at all."

**Vegito (Timeline 2)** smirked, arms crossed.

"Hmm… Cell's confident. Too confident. He has tricks up his sleeve."

**Broly (Timeline 4)** sat hunched forward, grinning like an animal about to witness a slaughter.

"Strong… both of them. But… they break easy. I'll break them too."

**Baby Vegito Black (Timeline 6)** remained silent, crimson eyes reflecting the battlefield. One corner of his mouth twitched upward in what might have been the shadow of a smirk.

The announcer raised his hand.

"FIGHT!!!"

The instant the word left his lips, the stage **erupted** into chaos. Both warriors vanished in a blink, leaving behind sonic booms that shattered several floating platforms. Gasps rippled through the audience as their eyes struggled to follow the blurs of movement.

*CLANG!*

Gast's arm blocked a heel kick from Cell, the shockwave splitting the air like thunder. Before the vibration faded, Cell's tail whipped around like a spear. Gast ducked low, sliding across the tiles with almost no resistance, and countered with a brutal palm strike aimed at Cell's torso.

**Cell:**

"Not bad—"

The strike connected, and Cell shot backward like a comet, skidding across the stage. He grinned mid-flight, twisting in the air to land gracefully on one knee. A small dent marked his armored chest, already regenerating.

**Cell (smirking):**

"Interesting. You hit harder than I expected."

**Gast (calmly):**

"And you recover faster than I hoped."

They blurred again. This time the clash was **mid-air**, fists colliding in flurries too fast for the human eye. Sparks danced like fireflies across the battlefield, every punch detonating like artillery. The **sky cracked** with the force of their blows, a purple-red storm swirling above the arena.

**Gohan (Timeline 1)** narrowed his eyes, muscles tense.

"He's faster than before… stronger too. That's not the Cell we fought back in my time."

**Vegeta (Timeline 1)** snorted, arms folded.

"Kakarot… you seeing this? That bug is using my moves."

**Goku:**

"Yeah… and some of Frieza's too. He's copying everything mid-fight."

**Raditz (Timeline 5)** slammed his fist into his palm, grinning.

"Now this is a fight! That green freak might be uglier than Nappa, but damn if he doesn't hit hard!"

**Nappa:**

"HEY!"

**Turles (Timeline 10)**, ever the schemer, leaned toward Bojack.

"Look at him adapt. Every hit, every block—he's learning. He's dangerous."

After a solid minute of lightning-speed exchanges, Cell was forced on the defensive. Gast began to **control the tempo**, predicting his movements with terrifying precision. A barrage of extended Namekian arms lashed out like green whips, cracking against Cell's guard. One slipped through, smashing into his jaw and launching him into the ground.

The impact cratered the stage, sending dust and shards flying. Gast hovered above, hands glowing with emerald energy. He spoke in a calm, almost disappointed tone.

"You rely on stolen strength, Cell. You lack origin… purpose."

Cell chuckled from the crater, wiping a bead of purple blood from his lip.

"Purpose? My purpose is perfection. And perfection… evolves."

Before Gast could react, Cell shot upward like a missile, his aura **exploding crimson**.

**Tien (Timeline 9)** leapt to his feet.

"Wait—what is that?! That's… Kaioken?!"

The weaker fighters gasped as Cell's **body ignited in fiery red**, his muscles bulging slightly, veins pulsing with raw ki. The ground beneath him **melted** from the heat.

**Cell (grinning):**

"Kaioken… a Saiyan gift. Multiplies my power instantly. I thought I'd save this for later, but you've impressed me."

He blurred forward, fist cocked back. Gast blocked—but the force behind the blow sent him skidding across the tiles. Cell laughed, chasing him down with a flurry of blows that **shook the entire arena**.

**Gast (thinking, calm but alert):**

*He's learned Kaioken… and not just learned. He's mastered it.*

**Cell:**

"Kaioken x100! Let's make this interesting!"

His aura blazed even brighter, roaring like a crimson inferno. The weaker fighters had to shield their eyes from the sheer brilliance of it.

**Krillin:**

"X-100?! HE'LL BURN HIS BODY OUT!"

**Roshi (Timeline 9):**

"Not if his regeneration compensates for it. That monster… he can brute force past limits no mortal should touch."

**Ginyu** fell to his knees, stammering.

"M-my lord… that's… beyond Frieza Force's levels!!"

**Shun** gritted his teeth, fists trembling.

"This… this isn't supposed to happen. Cell wasn't meant to surpass Frieza like this…"

**Bardock** laughed, wild and proud.

"Now THIS is what I came to see! A fight worth watching!"

**Vegito**'s smirk widened.

"Kaioken x100, huh? Not bad… but let's see how far you can push that freak body of yours."

**Baby Vegito Black** finally blinked, crimson eyes glinting. Silent.

---

Gast's calm voice cut through the chaos.

"Impressive trick… but tricks won't save you."

He spread his arms wide. The ground **split open**, emerald light shooting upward like geysers as the Namekian summoned the full might of his fused essence. His aura turned **golden-green**, stretching into the sky, wrapping the arena in vines of living energy.

**Gast (coldly):**

"Let me show you power that does not break… power that endures."

The stage trembled violently as their auras **collided like colliding suns**, ripping the atmosphere apart.

**Announcer:**

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN—THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!"

The arena was no longer the pristine, shimmering battlefield it had been at the start of the Tournament of Timelines. The floating platforms had shattered into jagged ruins, swirling like asteroids in a storm. The air was dense with smoke and shimmering energy, a chaotic ballet of green and crimson light tearing through the void. Every shockwave rippled across the barrier surrounding the arena, sending vibrations up to the gods' private viewing rooms.

Gast stood tall, his massive frame glistening with sweat and streaked with his own emerald blood. His chest heaved from the relentless pace of the fight, but his eyes—those ancient, unyielding Namekian eyes—burned with calm determination. His fusion of countless Namekians had given him wisdom beyond mortal comprehension, and yet… this opponent was unlike anything he'd faced.

Across from him, Cell crouched low, blood dripping from his mouth, his aura flaring like a raging inferno. His once-perfect body now bore cracks like shattered glass, glowing with molten crimson as the strain of **Kaioken ×500** warped his form. But even through the damage, he smirked. Not in arrogance—no, this was something else. Hunger. A primal thrill at the edge of self-destruction.

"Impressive…" Cell spat a line of blood, then wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "To think you've pushed me this far, Gast. You're everything I was designed to surpass—and yet, you still cling to that… Namekian serenity." His smirk widened into a savage grin. "Let's see how serene you are when I rip it apart."

Gast didn't answer. Words were pointless now. He simply raised his arms, green aura erupting in violent spirals. The sheer spiritual pressure warped the floating ruins into orbit around him.

---

**Timeline 7 (Namekian Team):**

Slug's jaw clenched, his wrinkled hands digging into his knees. "Gast… you better finish him before he becomes unstoppable…"

Piccolo muttered, "That's the problem. He's already learning faster than anyone I've ever seen."

Dende swallowed hard, whispering a prayer under his breath.

**Timeline 11 (Cell's team):**

Majin Buu clapped excitedly like a child, oblivious to the stakes. "Cell strong! Cell stronger!"

**Vegito (Timeline 2):**

Sitting with arms crossed, Vegito's sharp eyes tracked every twitch of the battle. He wasn't smirking now. "He's… faster than before. Every strike Gast lands, Cell comes back sharper. Damn…" He grinned. "But Gast Still the stronger one."

**Broly (Timeline 4):**

The berserker's lips curled into a rare, savage smile. His aura flickered instinctively, reacting to the rising power.

**Baby Vegito Black (Timeline 6):**

*How fragile perfection is… when it refuses to stop climbing.*

"ENOUGH TALK!" Cell roared, his voice shattering the sound barrier as he lunged forward. The arena exploded beneath his feet. He blitzed Gast with a vicious knee strike to the ribs, sending shockwaves spiraling outward. Gast grunted, twisting mid-air to retaliate with a crushing elbow to Cell's spine. Bone cracked. Blood sprayed.

But Cell only laughed. **"HAAAAAAAH! KAIOKEN… TIMES ONE THOUSAND!!"**

The crimson blaze engulfed him, doubling his size in sheer aura alone. The heat distorted reality itself; weaker fighters in the stands shielded their eyes from the glare.

Tien (Timeline 9) staggered back, sweat dripping down his face. "Times… a thousand?! That's suicide!"

Krillin clenched his fists. "And he's surviving it?! What the hell IS he?!"

Launch, trembling but trying to lighten the mood, muttered, "Guess I picked the wrong guy to root for…"

Gast's expression darkened as the ground beneath him fractured into molten chunks. *He's burning his own life force… but his regeneration—combined with Saiyan Zenkai and Frieza lineage—it's compensating. Damn it… if this keeps up, he'll surpass me before the end.*

With a scream that shook the heavens, Cell unleashed a flurry of blows that blurred beyond comprehension. Fists slammed into Gast's chest, face, and abdomen with bone-shattering force, each impact detonating like artillery. Gast countered with towering energy walls, but Cell tore through them like paper.

Then, **Cell vanished.**

Gast's senses screamed—too late. A **Death Flash** ignited behind him, a twisted evolution of Frieza's classic Death Beam—only now, multiplied into a **spiraling barrage of thousands** of beams raining from above.

The Namekian raised both arms, chanting in the ancient tongue. **"Great Shield of Porunga!"** A colossal emerald dragon coiled into existence, forming a barrier of divine scales. Beams struck the barrier, detonating in blinding flashes, shaking the entire coliseum.

(Timeline 8 Corner)

Frieza's lips curled downward, his usual smugness gone. "Hmph. So the insect thinks he can improve upon my techniques?" His tail lashed the ground in irritation. "Pathetic… and yet…" His voice dropped, low and dangerous. "…he's doing it well."

Shun (OC) narrowed his crimson eyes, arms crossed. "He's terrifying. If he lives through this fight, no one will stop him."

King Cold rumbled with deep unease. "No… this thing is no warrior. It's a calamity."

As the last beam dissipated, the dragon shattered—and Gast was already moving. His arms stretched outward like spears, Namekian elasticity combined with spiritual energy. He skewered through Cell's abdomen and hurled him across the arena.

"ENOUGH, CELL!" Gast's voice thundered like a god. "You rely on stolen strength, not your own resolve!"

But Cell only laughed, his body regenerating around the wound mid-flight. "You sound… just like Piccolo," he sneered. "And you'll die… just like him."

His tail lashed out, splitting into **seven blade-like whips**, each charged with crackling energy. They shot toward Gast in a storm of crimson arcs. Gast spun, invoking another ultimate: **"Storm of the Ancients!"** The sky split as hurricane winds of green ki formed a cyclone, shredding the energy whips and hurling Cell into the storm's eye.

The crowd roared in disbelief. The weaker fighters clung to their seats; the stronger ones leaned forward, entranced.

Watching silently, arms folded, Gohan's eyes narrowed. *This… this is what unchecked evolution looks like. If Cell wins, he won't stop at this tournament…* His fists clenched unconsciously. *I can't let that future happen again.*

---

Blood dripped freely from both warriors now, hissing as it struck the molten shards floating between them. The air itself was poison, saturated with lethal energy.

Gast's breathing slowed into a meditative rhythm. His aura condensed tighter, sharper. "You're nearing your limit, Cell. Every step you take brings you closer to oblivion."

Cell grinned, eyes glowing crimson. His voice dropped to a whisper, trembling with ecstasy:

"Oblivion… sounds… beautiful."

**"KAIOKEN… TIMES TWO… THOUSAND!"**

The world broke.

Crimson fire consumed the arena, warping gravity itself. Platforms cracked and imploded into dust. The barrier quaked under pressure so immense that even Beerus' ears twitched in irritation above. Fighters across timelines shielded their faces as a scarlet sun erupted where Cell stood.

Tien collapsed to one knee, screaming, "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"

Krillin grabbed Android 18 protectively.

Even Perfect Buu tilted his head, for once… silent.

Gast's eyes widened—not in fear, but in solemn acknowledgment. *So… this is the power of a creature who refuses to die.*

The second Cell vanished, the real slaughter began.
