The announcer's voice cracked over the roaring crowd, amplified by the strange magic that carried words across the infinite stadium.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WARRIORS OF ALL ERAS… PLEASE RETURN TO THE CENTER OF THE ARENA!"
The surviving fighters turned, some limping, some smirking, others covered in blood and dust. They gathered reluctantly at the main stage, their auras fading into silence.
Then the sky shifted.
One by one, twelve gods descended — the deities of each timeline, robes flowing like banners of light. Their angels followed, staffs glowing, the air itself trembling with their arrival. Warriors stopped talking; even the most arrogant villains straightened as the divine assembly took their place.
And then… something else.
A ripple coursed through the void above the arena, as if creation itself bowed. A man appeared, robed in white and blue, hair the color of snow, eyes fathomless yet kind. The moment he set foot on the stage, **every god dropped to their knees**. The angels lowered their heads in reverence. Even the mortals felt their hearts lurch in instinctive submission.
"D–Daishinkan…" whispered Beerus, his voice edged with both awe and dread.
The Grand Priest raised his staff. All sound vanished.
"You have fought well, warriors," he said, his voice calm, yet carrying across the cosmos. "But battle alone cannot define you. The Tournament shall pause for two hours. In that time you may eat, recover, speak… or prepare yourselves for what is to come. When the break ends, the second block of battles shall commence."
"With a flick of his staff, void-light shimmered — neither color nor shadow, only presence itself — and the outer rings of the stadium filled with food and drink from a hundred worlds."
---
The Main Timeline (T1)
Goku stretched, grinning as if nothing sacred had just occurred.
"Heh! A break already? Guess that means I can eat the whole buffet before Vegeta gets there."
"Idiot," Vegeta growled, arms folded. "We haven't even faced the real monsters yet, and all you think about is food."
Future Gohan stood behind them, his one eye narrowing. "He's not wrong, Vegeta. We're undefeated so far, but if we let our guard down, the next round will destroy us."
Trunks nodded grimly. "He's right. Broly strength… and Black's… they're for sure more powerfull than black."
Present Gohan forced a smile. "We'll stand together. That's how we've always survived."
Piccolo glanced between them, voice flat. "Empty words mean nothing. Watch the Saiyan Empire. Watch the Namekians. They're not here to spar — they're here to kill."
Uub fidgeted nervously, then clenched his fists. "I… I beat Cooler. I can keep going. I have to."
Piccolo's heavy hand landed on the boy's shoulder. "Good. Hold onto that conviction."
---
Vegito's Timeline (T2)
Vegito smirked, resting his hands behind his head. "Two hours, huh? Fine. Gives me just enough time to get bored before I flatten the next guy."
Piccolo of this world frowned. "Arrogance will get us all killed, Vegito."
Tien remained quiet, his eyes steady. "Still, having him on our side isn't the worst thing."
Krillin raised his hand sheepishly. "As long as I don't draw Broly or Black next, I'm good. Totally good."
Uub from this line shot a sharp look toward Uub (T1), his jaw tightening. "You're not the only me who can win."
Goten and Trunks, arms crossed and lip quivering, muttered, "Tch, Taizo got lucky. Next time I'll—" He froze when Vegito's glare cut through him like a blade.
---
The Android Timeline (T3)
Android 21 leaned against the wall, fury in her eyes. "That Saiyan Bardock… I should've crushed him. I'll dismantle him piece by piece next time."
Android 18 shook her head, arms folded. "You let pride get in your way. I did too. Roshi… tch, I won't make that mistake again."
Android 13 cracked his knuckles. "'Bout time we get our shot. Them Saiyans won't be smilin' when I'm done."
Android 16 stood silent, gaze on the skies. "Protect the animals. Destroy Goku. That will be enough."
Dr. Gero, hidden behind his human disguise, smirked coldly. "The data I've gathered is more valuable than victory. In the second block, the world will witness my perfection."
The other androids said nothing, their eyes glinting with artificial malice.
---
The Broly Timeline (T4)
Broly sat hunched, muscles twitching, eyes half-wild. His breath steamed like smoke. "More… fighters. Stronger…" He stared across the field at Gast and Rosan, animal instinct flaring. Neither flinched.
---
The Saiyan Empire (T5)
Rosan laughed maniacally, the sound sharp as broken glass. "That woman, Zangya, was pathetic! Who's next?! Who else will bleed for me?!"
Bardock leaned on his knees, still raw from his fight. "I'll crush anyone in my way."
King Vegeta smirked coldly. "Do not speak out of turn, Bardock. Royalty will remind these insects who commands true power."
The ruthless Vegeta of this world sneered across the arena. "So that's what I became in your world? Pathetic. I'll show you the Vegeta you should've been."
Ruthless Kakarot grinned hungrily at Goku. "Heh. You're me… but soft. I'll enjoy tearing you apart."
Nappa pounded his chest. "Finally! Me next right?!"
---
Baby Vegito Black (T6)
He said nothing.
Black sat with eyes closed, aura faint yet suffocating. When his eyes opened briefly, the chatter around him died instantly. Even gods shifted uneasily.
---
The Namekians (T7)
Gast folded his arms. "Cell was strong. But he was only the beginning."
Slug grinned, his voice oily. "These humans will learn the terror of a true demon Namekian."
Kami frowned toward Rosan, disgust clear in his eyes. "That one… reeks of malice."
Dende, older and armored, swallowed hard. "I'll fight too. I won't run this time."
---
The Frieza Empire (T8)
Frieza seethed in silence, trembling with humiliation. "That one-armed wretch… Future Gohan… I'll—" He was silenced by a flick of an angel's staff.
King Cold chuckled, dark and rich. "Pathetic sons. I'll succeed where you failed."
Zarbon brushed his hair back. "Strength must be paired with elegance. These brutes know neither."
Dodoria cracked his knuckles, grinning. "Heh. Can't wait to smash some faces in."
Captain Ginyu leapt forward into a pose. "Ginyu Force RULES!" The collective groan that followed was deafening.
---
The Humans (T9)
Roshi grinned under his beard. "Heh… still got it."
Tien's eyes were focused. "We've proven humans belong here too."
Krillin laughed nervously. "Uh… yeah, until I'm matched with Broly."
Yamcha puffed up his chest. "Don't count me out yet."
Chiaotzu whispered. "I'll help however I can."
Launch leaned against her gun. "Just point me at who to shoot."
Yajirobe chewed loudly, meat juice dripping down his chin. "Two-hour break? Perfect. Don't mind if I do."
---
Turles' Crew (T10)
Turles spat, bloodied and bitter. "That Goku… he mocks me with his very existence."
Taizo smirked, pride burning. "I will avenge you father.."
Bojack sulked, arms chained by defeat.
Bujin, Bido, and Kogu stood tall, chanting in unison: "The Galaxy Soldiers will rise again!"
---
Cell's Reign (T11)
Majin Buu bounced happily, giggling. "Buu hungry! Buu fight soon!"
---
The Forgotten (T12)
Tapion's hand rested on his sword. His eyes, shadowed and distant, flicked to the heavens. "So it falls to me alone. I'll carry my world's hope with these hands."
Closing
The Daishinkan raised his staff. At once, silence fell, broken only by the crackle of divine energy.
"Two hours," he repeated. "Eat. Rest. Reflect. When the sand runs out, blood will fall once again."
The fighters broke apart, heading for food, for shade, for whispered plotting. And above them all, the gods whispered among themselves, knowing that the second block would be worse than the first.
The buffet stretched on endlessly, but at one table the air was heavier than the food on the plates. Goku sat with his usual mountain of meat, chewing with delight, while Vegeta crossed his arms beside him, not touching his food. Future Gohan leaned across from Trunks, one hand pressed against the wood. Piccolo, ever silent, stood with his back to the wall behind them.
Around the table sat their families — Bulma pouring tea, Chi-Chi scolding Goku's eating, Videl quietly feeding Pan, while little Goten tried to sneak food from Trunks' plate. The mix of family warmth and battlefield tension made the atmosphere strange, but fitting.
"Alright," Bulma said, breaking the silence. "You've all been watching. So let's hear it. Who's looking like the real problem?"
Piccolo gave a low hum. "Before we list problems, let's analyze what we've seen."
---
Future Gohan nodded toward the boy. "Uub… you surprised all of us. You didn't just survive against Cooler — you pressured him. That's not something even seasoned fighters would shrug at."
Uub ducked his head. "I… I just kept moving. Cooler was slower than I thought he'd be."
Piccolo added, "You exploited that. Good. But don't mistake one weakness for victory. Against stronger foes, you'll need sharper instincts."
Vegeta smirked. "Hmph. At least the boy fights better than Kakarot did at his age."
Chi-Chi slammed her palm on the table. "Don't you drag Goku into this!"
Goku only laughed with a mouthful of food.
---
Trunks leaned forward. "Master Roshi… I didn't think he still had that kind of strength in him. The way he outmaneuvered 18—"
Piccolo interrupted. "That wasn't strength. That was experience. He's still fragile. Against monsters like Rosan, he won't last."
Gohan frowned. "Still, it proves brains matter in this tournament. That gives us some hope."
---
Vegeta's scowl deepened. "Broly… that animal hasn't lost an ounce of savagery. He tore through Hatchiyack like paper."
Future Gohan clenched his jaw. "He's stronger than we realized. Maybe stronger than you, Vegeta."
Goku swallowed his meat and grinned. "Which means I gotta fight him soon! That'll be fun."
Everyone at the table groaned.
---
Bulma leaned closer. "And what about that Rosan guy? The one who ripped that poor woman apart?"
Trunks shivered. "He's terrifying. Strong, fast… but it's his attitude. He didn't fight to win. He fought to break her."
Piccolo's eyes narrowed. "i believe theres plenty on our team stronger than him."
---
Future Gohan crossed his arms. "Gast… I've never seen a Namekian like him. Not even Piccolo compares, No disrespect."
Piccolo gave a rare sigh. "That was no ordinary warrior. He absorbed his people, their essence, their will. He carries all of Namek inside him."
Vegeta scoffed. "Bah. He's strong, yes, but too proud. Pride can be broken."
Gohan whispered, "That didn't look like pride. That looked like certainty."
---
The whole table went silent.
Finally, Goten asked, "So… Vegito. He's you guys, right?"
Goku chuckled nervously. Vegeta turned away.
Future Gohan looked between them, uneasy. "That wasn't just you two combined. That was something else. He didn't just fight Hirudegarn — he humiliated him."
Piccolo's voice was low. "Vegito is the single most dangerous fighter here. If Baby doesn't surpass him, no one else will."
---
And what about Turles? Chi-chi said.
Goku laughed. "He wasn't that bad! Just angry. Guess he didn't eat enough."
Vegeta snarled. "You imbecile. He was trying to kill you, and you treat it like sparring!"
---
Baby Vegito Black..
The mention of that name made the table go quiet again.
Pan, too young to understand, clutched Videl's arm as her mother tensed.
Future Gohan broke the silence. "That aura… I don't know how to explain it. It wasn't ki. It wasn't magic. It was… hatred. Alive."
Piccolo's arms tightened across his chest. "Baby Vegito Black. Worse than Broly. If he keeps growing…"
No one finished the sentence.
---
Trunks spoke quickly, as if to move on. "Bardock was incredible, though. He had that same ferocity as Goku, but sharper, more controlled."
Future Gohan nodded. "If he fights like that every round, he could reach the finals."
Goku smiled faintly, hearing his father's name, though his expression was unreadable.
---
Piccolo straightened, his voice cutting through the table chatter. "So. Let's list them. The ones who could end us."
"Vegito," Future Gohan said first. "No question."
"Baby Vegito Black," Piccolo added grimly.
"Broly," Vegeta spat.
"Rosan," Trunks said.
"Gast," Gohan admitted quietly.
"Taizo," Piccolo added after a pause. "Don't underestimate him. He's not just Turles' son — he fights smarter than his father."
The table went silent, each name hanging heavier than the last.
Finally, Bulma broke the tension with a nervous laugh. "Well… at least you're all still in it. That means something, right?"
Future Gohan looked at her, his scarred face softening for a moment. "It means everything. For now."
The clatter of dishes and low chatter died at once when the television high above their table flickered to life.
The announcer's booming voice echoed through the hall:"Oh! One thing I forgot to mention! Timelines we judged as not being a direct threat to each other may interact during the break. Don't worry—we've got cameras watching! If a fight breaks out, both timelines involved will be eliminated!"
The screen went dark.
For a long moment, the room was silent. Forks hovered mid-air, breaths caught in throats. Every warrior and family member at Timeline 1's table turned toward the great double-doors at the edge of the banquet hall.
They creaked open.
A tall figure stepped in, arms folded, smirk wide.
"Yo," Vegito said casually, like he'd just walked into Capsule Corp for dinner. "How ya guys doing?"
Behind him filed the rest of Timeline 2—Piccolo, Tien, Krillin, Goten, Trunks, Uub, and their families.
Shock and First Reactions
The two Timelines stared at each other. Then it happened.
"WHAAAAT?!" Bulma (T1) and Bulma (T2) shrieked at once, pointing across the room like mirrors.
"You're me! With different hair!" T1 Bulma said, grabbing at her own ponytail.
"You're me, with different wrinkles," Future Bulma shot back, adjusting her glasses with irritation.
"HEY!" both Chi-Chis snapped together, turning on their respective husbands. "Why didn't you warn me something like this could happen?!"
Goku (T1) laughed nervously, scratching his head. "Well, uh… I didn't know either!"
Goten and Trunks from T1 stared at their older selves from T2. The older Goten folded his arms, scowling. "Don't tell me that's what I turn into…"
T2 Trunks sighed, running a hand down his face. "Great. More kids with attitude."
Future Trunks (T1), caught between both versions, groaned. "This is going to give me a headache."
Videl vs Videl
At the far side of the table, Videl (T1) stiffened when she saw her other self from T2 walk in—older, sterner, dressed in a different gi. The two locked eyes.
"You…" T2 Videl said slowly, looking her counterpart up and down. "You've still got that fire in you."
T1 Videl raised her brows. "So do you. Guess I know I don't get soft when I grow up."
Pan, oblivious, tugged at T1 Videl's sleeve. "Mama, why is there two of you?"
Both Videls winced in unison.
Gohans Collide
Future Gohan and Gohan T1 set down their drink when both noticed another version —Adult Gohan (T2)—standing across from him. Their eyes locked.
"You survived," Future Gohan said, his tone unreadable.
T2 Gohan nodded slowly. "And you… you look hurt."
For once, silence carried a strange respect between them.
Videl (T2) slipped her hand into her Gohan's, whispering, "He looks so broken. Don't ever let that be you."
Krillin Meets Himself
Krillin (T1) gawked at his other self. "Whoa… when did I start shaving my head again?!"
T2 Krillin chuckled nervously. "Hey, bald looks good on us, right?"
Android 18 (T1) smirked faintly, eyeing T2 Krillin. "Hmm. You actually aged better than I expected."
T1 Krillin flushed red instantly. "H-Honey!!"
Piccolos & Uubs
The two Piccolos gave each other a single glance, then turned away in mutual disgust. Neither said a word.
Uub (T1) stood and bowed awkwardly to his counterpart. "Uh… you were amazing out there. I hope I can get that strong."
T2 Uub snorted. "You'll never catch up."
T1 Uub clenched his fists, but Piccolo's hand on his shoulder kept him grounded.
And then there was Vegito.
Goku (T1) scratched his cheek, grinning. "So uh… guess that's us, huh?"
Vegito smirked. "Not even close. but hey you're me in a way."
Vegeta (T1) bristled, snarling. "Don't you dare act superior to me, fusion! You wouldn't exist without my power!"
Vegito leaned down until their foreheads nearly touched. "And yet, here I am, stronger than either of you could dream."
Future Trunks and Goten shared a nervous look. "This is gonna end in a fight, isn't it?"
Bulma (T2) and Bulma (Future) had started bickering about Capsule Corp patents ("You stole my designs!" "They're our designs!").
The Chi-Chis were in a full shouting match, debating whose Goku (Vegito could be considerated a version of Goku) was the bigger fool.
And Pan had crawled into Future Gohan's lap, staring up with wide eyes. "Uncle… you look like Daddy, but sad."
Future Gohan froze, his throat tightening, before managing a soft smile. "…Yeah. Something like that."
The arguments were rising—two Bulmas already threatening lawsuits against themselves, the Chi-Chis debating whose husband was more of a dunce, Vegito looming smugly over his separate halves—when Vegito suddenly raised a hand.
"Calm down, guys," he said with a chuckle. "Don't get worked up just yet. There's another timeline walking right behind us. Should be here any second."
The doors creaked again.
In strode Timeline 9 – Earth's Human Heroes: Tien T9, Master Roshi restored to his youthful prime, Krillin T9, Yamcha, Yajirobe with a meat bone still in hand, Chiaotzu hovering at his side, and Launch—already sneezing into her blonde-haired, gun-toting form.
For a moment, the room went dead quiet. Then:
"YOOO!!" Yamcha shouted, throwing his arms wide. "Three timelines in one room! Now this is a party!"
