Bursts of screams and faint sobs were heard from the pitch-black screen.
"We'll be fine! We'll be fine!" a mother said, hugging her daughter tightly and covering her mouth with her hand.
The daughter looked through the crack in the wall at the chaotic situation outside. A large number of soldiers were slaughtering people, while the mother and daughter hid in a small house.
Suddenly, there was an explosion nearby, and the daughter screamed in shock. The mother immediately covered her mouth, but it was too late.
An alien soldier outside the door seemed to have heard the scream and walked towards them. The daughter watched in horror as the Chitauri soldier kicked open the door.
Her mother couldn't hold it in any longer and screamed in terror...
In the sky, the Leviathan monster was soaring over the city, and below it were a large number of green-skinned Zehoberei people fleeing in panic.
The scene zoomed out, revealing a large number of Chitauri soldiers and Black Order spaceships suspended in mid-air, firing at the buildings and people below.
Under their reckless slaughter, a large number of Zehoberei people died on the spot.
As usual, Ebony Maw addressed the slaughtered Zehoberei in his cold, measured tone: "People of Zehoberei! Life or death hangs in the balance! Accept life's ultimate revelation, or gain the honor afforded only to a select few..."
In the chaotic crowd, the little girl was initially dragged to the other side by a soldier. She kept slapping the soldier's arms while calling out to her mother for help.
"Mom! Mom! Where are you? Mom!"
The soldier who had captured her was distracted by another fleeing Zehoberei and released her. Suddenly, she noticed a very tall figure staring at her. It was Thanos.
Thanos looked at the little girl in front of him. "What's wrong, little one?"
Young Gamora didn't recognize Thanos and looked at him and said, "My mother! Where is my mother?"
Thanos slowly squatted down and did not answer her question. Instead, he asked, "What is your name?"
"Gamora!"
Thanos tilted his head. "You have the potential to be a warrior, Gamora! Come here! I'm here to help you!"
Young Gamora looked at Thanos's outstretched hand and gently grasped one of his large fingers.
Thanos stood up and led her towards the pavilion behind them. In front of them, the soldiers had split the people in two, creating a line between life and death!
Young Gamora was still naive. She wanted to turn around and look for her mother, but Thanos pulled out a small, exquisite, double-bladed knife from his pocket, attracting her attention.
Thanos flicked his finger slightly, and the blade of the switchblade immediately popped out.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
Thanos placed the knife on his fingertips, balancing it perfectly to prevent it from falling.
"What a perfect balance! Everything should be like this! If it leans to one side... or the other... Come on! Try it!"
He deliberately tilted the blade to the sides, then tossed it slightly before handing it to Gamora.
Young Gamora took the delicate little weapon and examined it carefully. Behind her, Ebony Maw's voice rang out.
"Now you can face your death!"
As he finished speaking, the soldiers on the left raised their weapons and killed all the people in that group. The residents on the right let out heartbreaking cries.
Gamora subconsciously raised her head to look at the sound, but Thanos reached out and stroked her cheek, turning her head back and focusing her attention on the knife in front of her.
"Don't be distracted! Look! You've learned it!"
Gamora used one finger to steady the knife in her hand, and Thanos was very satisfied with this.
-Real World-
"Is this the process of Gamora being taken away and raised by Thanos?" Tony frowned. He initially thought that Thanos adopted Gamora.
Unexpectedly, Thanos killed the entire family and then took Gamora with him, forcibly adopting her!
"I guess Nebula is about the same, coupled with the cruel training when she was a child. That's why the two sisters hate Thanos so much and want to cut him into pieces!"
Captain America frowned. "This guy claims to be working for the balance of the universe, but what he's doing is totally useless! It only brings pain to others!"
Strange narrowed his eyes and said, "Yeah! This guy deserves to die!"
Thanos looked at this scene and fell into memories. He could not deny that taking Gamora away was the best decision he had ever made. This girl healed his soul to some extent.
But Gamora didn't think so. If it weren't for Thanos, she could have lived a happy life with her mother. It was Thanos who ruined everything!
She subconsciously clenched her fists. Seeing this, Nebula covered them with her hand. Gamora silently glanced at her sister.
The two looked at each other, and their determination to take revenge on Thanos became even stronger.
"Kill half and keep the other half. The surviving half will remain in pain forever! Alas!" Banner shook his head.
-Broadcast-
Gamora held the knife that Thanos had given her, flicked the blade out, and silently recalled the past.
"Gamora!" Star-Lord walked over from the other side, interrupting her thoughts.
"Do you think this grenade is the kind that explodes or the kind that just emits smoke? I'd like to strap a few to my belt, but I don't want to be left without a last resort!"
Before Star-Lord could finish, Gamora suddenly said, "I need you to do me a favor!"
Star-Lord was stunned for a moment before happily responding, "Yeah! Of course, no problem!"
"No matter what! We will always have to face Thanos in the end!"
Star-Lord tossed the grenade in his hand and said, "Why else would I prepare a grenade?"
Obviously he hadn't realized what Gamora meant yet.
Gamora glanced at him silently, a look that made Star-Lord inexplicably uneasy.
He quickly changed the subject. "I'm sorry! You need my help? What help?"
Gamora was silent for two seconds before she said, "If things don't go well! If Thanos catches me!"
She looked at Star-Lord with an extremely serious look. "I want you to promise me! I want you to kill me!"
Star-Lord looked at her in bewilderment. "What?!!"
