When the real Mysterio first witnessed himself and the massive rock giant through the interdimensional screen, he was undoubtedly shocked to his core, because it was obviously him, although this version looked slightly different in appearance.
But he didn't dwell on the physical differences, because he had already seen that there were three generations of Spider-Man whose appearances were completely unrelated to each other. The fact that this Quentin Beck was 80% similar to himself was already remarkably rare across the multiverse.
Mysterio initially believed that he might be observing himself from a fortunate parallel universe, and by pure chance this alternate version had traveled to the universe where the legendary Avengers existed.
Just when he thought that he would witness this other version defeating the Elementals with Spider-Man's help and finally avenging all the humans on Earth, that damned fraudulent impostor played the cruelest possible joke on him. It turned out that the Elementals were completely fabricated by this fake!
Those terrifying creatures that had literally destroyed his Earth beyond all recognition and left it a lifeless wasteland were actually nothing more than fictional illusions in this other universe!
And the impostor's motivation for inventing the Elementals was nothing more than his own ridiculous and pathetic ambition for fame and power?
At that moment, the real Mysterio felt a rage unlike anything he had ever experienced. He wanted to tear through the dimensional barrier, grab this lying pretender, give him two devastating punches, and then throw him directly in front of the authentic Molten Man that towered as high as mountains.
He didn't care to understand why the story fabricated by this liar was so eerily similar to his own genuine experiences and heroic deeds. He just wanted the impostor to witness firsthand whether the horrible monster that had taken everything precious from him was merely a false illusion!!!
All of these furious thoughts flashed through Mysterio's mind in an instant. He raised his head toward the Sky Screen again, remembering the deal that the 2nd generation Spider-Man had made with the mysterious entity, and the incredible reward that had been granted to the 1st generation Spider-Man.
He slowly closed his eyes with grim determination, "Yes! No matter what the price might be, I am willing to pay it!"
["Excellent! So, are you prepared? Go forth and begin your new journey of justice!"]
Brilliant white light completely enveloped Mysterio's battle-scarred body, healing and repairing the severe injuries he had sustained in his final desperate battle against the real Elementals, and then he vanished entirely from the planet that had been mostly consumed by molten destruction!
Shortly after he disappeared from his dying world, the massive lava giant that had stood as tall as Mount Everest gradually began to collapse for mysterious reasons, leaving behind only a fist-sized glowing core. Then three other similar cores materialized from distant dimensions and floated toward the first. Finally, all the cores disappeared together in a flash of interdimensional energy.
Only a tattered, completely lifeless Earth remained suspended in the cold vacuum of space, silently bearing witness to the planet's tragic past and the civilization that had once thrived there.
[Back in the Prague hotel, the 3rd generation Spider-Man nervously drew the curtains closed to prevent Quentin Beck from potentially spying on him through any surveillance devices.]
[Spider-Man was completely distraught at this realization, "I actually gave those incredibly powerful glasses to Beck! I think my brain got hit by a door! He's probably spying on me right now! He's going to send armed drones to kill me any minute!"]
[MJ was genuinely surprised by this revelation, "You can actually control armed military drones?"]
["Yeah! But I never wanted that capability! Especially since I almost accidentally killed Brad earlier on the bus!"]
[MJ was even more shocked by this admission, "You almost killed Brad?" She immediately remembered the terrifying situation they had experienced on the tour bus.]
["Listen, I absolutely have to call Mr. Fury! I need to tell him that Beck is a complete fraud, but... my phone communications might already be compromised and monitored!"]
["Okay! So what exactly are you planning to do?"]
[There was only one viable option remaining, "I have to put on my battle suit! Travel to Berlin! Tell Mr. Fury the truth in person!"]
[With the situation becoming increasingly urgent, Spider-Man grabbed his backpack and started removing his civilian clothes, then suddenly realized that MJ was still standing right there.]
["Uh..." MJ coughed awkwardly and quickly turned away from Spider-Man's impressively defined eight-pack abs.]
[Spider-Man rapidly pulled off his pants and began putting on his black Night Monkey suit. Just when MJ was secretly tempted to turn around and steal another glance, Ned appeared in the doorway without warning, staring at Spider-Man in complete amazement.]
[A storm of confusion was raging in Ned's mind, and he immediately began frantically thinking of various ways to help maintain Peter's secret identity.]
[Spider-Man turned around and spotted Ned, "Oh! Ned! Your timing is perfect!"]
["That's an absolutely amazing costume! It would be perfect for a masquerade ball at some European prince's castle!"]
[Ned desperately racked his brains to fabricate a convincing excuse, and Spider-Man pointed toward MJ, "She knows the truth! I told her everything!"]
[MJ squinted her eyes and looked between the two boys, then realized something important, "Actually, he didn't tell me anything! I figured it out myself!"]
[Ned opened his mouth in surprise and nodded with understanding, "Oh! That's actually impressive detective work!"]
[MJ raised an eyebrow with satisfaction, "I guessed it a long time ago!"]
[Spider-Man interrupted their conversation urgently, "Listen! This is crucial - Mysterio is a complete liar and fraud!"]
[Ned was genuinely confused by this sudden shocking news, "But he literally saved mine and Betty's lives on that Ferris wheel!"]
[MJ explained the deception clearly: "He faked the entire thing using sophisticated illusion technology!"]
[Spider-Man nodded in complete agreement with MJ's assessment: "Exactly! He used some kind of advanced holographic projection devices to create fake monsters!"]
[Ned found this revelation almost impossible to believe, "Wow! That's absolutely insane! So are you guys investigating this conspiracy or something?"]
[MJ tilted her head with pride: "The investigation was mainly my work!"]
[Spider-Man gave Ned urgent instructions: "Ned! Please call Aunt May immediately! Tell her to contact Mr. Harrington! Have her explain that she's sending me to visit relatives in Berlin! I need to stay there until this dangerous situation calms down! Okay?"]
[Ned nodded without any hesitation, "No problem at all! That's a piece of cake for me!"]
[Watching the two friends' well-practiced deception, MJ exclaimed with admiration: "Wow! You guys are genuinely skilled at creating cover stories!"]
[Spider-Man didn't have time for extended conversation, "I really have to leave right now!"]
[MJ suddenly noticed the projector device still lying on the bed, "Wait! The projector! You should take it with you as evidence!"]
[Spider-Man caught the projector that MJ tossed to him and warned both of them seriously: "Don't tell anyone about any of this! The more people who know, the more dangerous this becomes for everyone!"]
[After saying that, he leaped out of the hotel window, swung away on his web-lines, and began heading toward Berlin to find Nick Fury.]
[MJ watched his disappearing figure with concern, and Ned couldn't help but boast: "Now you know the secret too! That's fantastic! Although I've known the longest and was the first to find out! But I don't want to compete with you about that!"]
[Spider-Man swung on his web-lines to the train station and landed gracefully on top of the express train bound for Berlin.]
"This kid! He's actually secretly competing and comparing himself to others." Uncle Ben shook his head helplessly, not quite knowing what to say about Ned's competitive nature.
"Now there's one more person who knows the 3rd generation's true identity. I honestly don't know whether this is ultimately a good thing or creates more danger! I just hope he has a safe journey!" Aunt May sighed with maternal worry.
"But Ned is still very proactive about covering for the 3rd generation Peter! He immediately found a believable excuse for him. His intelligence is definitely quite high!" The 1st generation Gwen smiled and genuinely appreciated Ned's quick thinking and loyalty.
The 1st generation Spider-Man wasn't fully aware of Tony Stark's advanced surveillance technology, but he had learned about Harry's Osborn Industries satellite network capabilities.
He understood very well that Spider-Man would be easily detected by satellites monitoring the skies if he was traveling so openly and conspicuously on the top of the train, and his exact whereabouts would be tracked and reported to Quentin Beck from the very beginning.
Since the enemy would know precisely where Peter was going and exactly what he planned to do, they would definitely be prepared with countermeasures! So he wasn't very optimistic about Spider-Man's chances of success with this direct approach.
But he still desperately hoped that Spider-Man could somehow successfully avoid E.D.I.T.H.'s comprehensive surveillance network, locate Nick Fury safely, and deliver this absolutely crucial intelligence!
