Soon Tony and his team arrived above the factory. They had notified the local government departments in advance and landed inside the factory after obtaining permission.
Thor held Jane in his arms and walked toward them. The two medical staff wanted to examine Jane, but Thor told them what had just happened. Fortunately, Thor's touch did not trigger resistance from the Aether particles, so Thor accompanied her the entire way.
The Quinjet soon took off again and began heading for New York. Local officials breathed a sigh of relief. It was well known that Jane Foster was in trouble, and they did not want this trouble to manifest in London.
It would be great if the Avengers could take this problem away! At least they would be out of danger. Let the Americans deal with any issues! It was none of their business!
In the dark space, Malekith grabbed a handful of dust from the ground and said, "The Aether awakens us from our sleep. Algrim, how many of our race still live?"
Algrim placed his hand on Malekith's shoulder: "Our survival is your legacy."
Malekith threw the dirt in his hand back to the ground, stood up and looked at him solemnly: "The Asgardians will pay dearly for our suffering! I will reclaim the Aether! I will restore our world! And I will put an end to this wretched universe!"
The Avengers on Earth didn't know that they were in danger. They were focusing on Jane Foster who was being transported back to New York and placed in the regeneration cradle!
"There is a powerful energy in her body, very, very powerful! I have never seen such readings! Her body..." Dr. Helen Cho looked at the data displayed after the scan with an incredulous expression.
"Yeah! And this energy is draining her life force! We have to extract it from her body, otherwise she won't survive much longer!" Banner touched his chin with a serious look on his face.
"Okay! Thor! Do you know what that is?" Tony looked at Thor.
"No! This is not a substance that can be found on Earth! I have never seen anything like this before!" Thor shook his head.
Natasha looked at Captain America: "Cap! Can you contact Wanda and Pietro? I think we may need magical expertise!"
Captain America was stunned for a moment and then nodded: "Yeah! I'll call her!" Then he walked out of the room to make the call.
Maya squatted beside Jane, carefully examining the Aether particles moving around her arm: "It's incredible..."
Because they had learned from Thor that the Aether particles would defend themselves and attack anyone who tried to harm Jane, no one dared to touch her carelessly.
"Do you want me to return to Asgard and ask my father?" Thor was obviously anxious.
Barton comforted him, "Let's wait for Wanda and the others to examine her first. Maybe the Ancient One has a solution!"
Soon Captain America returned, followed by Wanda and Pietro, who had not been seen for a while, as well as Strange and Christine!
Since the Ancient One had been unable to make a decision, Strange planned to develop their respective understanding. Although the two might still be a little unfamiliar with each other, with Christine to smooth things over, their relationship was acceptable.
When Captain America contacted Wanda, Strange was practicing magic with Christine. After learning about the situation, he was very curious, so he accompanied them. Wanda did not refuse his request, because Strange would undoubtedly be a valuable ally in the future.
Several people gathered around the regeneration cradle, and Wanda used chaos magic to examine Jane Foster's body. The Aether particles did not resist Wanda's magic, so she completed the examination easily.
"This energy feels very familiar to me! It is living inside Jane's body and draining her life force!" She lowered her hand and shared her assessment.
Strange also began to recall the knowledge he had read in various texts. He had been studying for more than a year. Although he had not yet used the Time Stone to rapidly absorb information from books, his knowledge base was already substantial.
Soon he recalled a similar substance described in one of the books: "The Aether!"
Everyone turned to look at him when they heard this, and Strange remembered what he had read.
"There are six Infinity Stones in the universe! You've already seen the Mind Stone and the Space Stone! Within Jane is the Aether, the only Infinity Stone that exists in a liquid state!"
"An Infinity Stone?! I didn't expect it to be inside Jane's body! How do we extract it?" Tony narrowed his eyes.
"I don't know! The book doesn't specify. It only mentions that a long time ago, the dark elves used the Aether as a weapon in an attempt to rule the universe, but they were ultimately destroyed!"
Strange shook his head and shared everything he had learned.
Natasha inquired: "Dark elves? Who destroyed them?"
Thor also recalled the story he had heard as a child: "The dark elves originated from the darkness before creation and sought to restore that darkness! I know this story, but it was said that the Aether was destroyed along with the dark elves!"
"Obviously not! The reliability of legends has never been particularly high!" Tony shrugged, looking at the scan image and dismissing the ancient tale.
"But no one has seen any trace of the Dark Elves for thousands of years!" When it came to the Dark Elves, Thor's knowledge was limited. He regretted not listening more carefully to his mother Frigga's stories when he was younger.
"Wanda, do you have a way to extract it?" Captain America looked at Wanda, who was wearing a sorcerer's robe, placing his hopes on her abilities.
"I'm not sure, but I'll try! Stephen, stand by in case something goes wrong!" Wanda opened her hands, focused her chaos magic, and instructed Strange.
"Understood!" Strange waved his hand and deployed a protective magical barrier to isolate Wanda and Jane Foster from the others to prevent any accidental injuries.
Wanda held out her hands, and crimson chaos magic began to slowly attempt to draw the Aether particles out of Jane's body.
The Aether particles did not strongly resist Wanda's power, but even so, Wanda proceeded with caution because Jane's life hung in the balance.
When they had previously lived in Stark Tower, they had often chatted with each other, and Jane had confided in her about some of her frustrations with Thor, which had strengthened their friendship.
So she was determined not to allow anything to happen to Jane Foster.
Fortunately, everything proceeded smoothly. Under Wanda's control, the Aether particles were extracted from Jane Foster's body, swirling in the air.
Wanda signaled to Tony, who immediately opened the container they had prepared in advance. Wanda guided the Aether particles into it, and Tony quickly sealed the box, trapping the Aether inside.
Looking at the Aether emitting its red glow within the box, Wanda wiped the sweat from her forehead, relieved that she had successfully lived up to everyone's expectations.
