When going downstairs, Mei Xiang and Meng Wanning were already seated at the dining table.
Chen Cheng noticed that today, the two of them were indeed different, just as Wen Shulin had mentioned.
As usual, Meng Wanning kept her head down, her eyes more evasive.
Mei Xiang's smile remained sweet, yet there was a hint of worry in her gaze.
"Morning." Chen Cheng and Wen Shulin approached the dining table.
"Morning, sir."

The long table was already set with brunch: fried eggs, toast, bacon, along with a freshly brewed pot of coffee and several glasses of fresh juice.
"Let's just have a bite now, we'll have something good once we're on board." Wen Shulin said casually.
"With such a big table of food, how can you call it 'just a bite'?" Chen Cheng teased.
Wen Shulin cast him a resentful glance and her eyes naturally fell on the two people opposite her.
